Anjappar is yet another amazing south Indian restaurant. Love the food there, Especially the Biryani .Its just pure delicious. So if your ever in a mood for spicy yet mouth watering south Indian food, you have to visit Anjappar in Chennai. A little about the menu available there.

They got all kinds of seafood, Mutton, Chicken and also amazing meals you could eat. The ambience of the place is well maintained. Staff is very pleasant and welcoming. No reservation required on the weekdays, But the weekends require reservation 1 hour prior. Must eat place for families and friends.

This is not a too fancy place, but if you are looking to catch a train from Egmore and want to grab a quick bite, then this is the place to be at.

The last time I came here for dinner with my spouse, we ordered a couple of things. We came here a little late, and the place was not too crowded, We ordered tomato and sweet corn soup, chicken biryani and ghee rice. We also ordered daal and papad. The food was good but a little spicy.

We were very hungrry and were happy that the waiters served our food really quick and were very friendly and polite. I thought that it was a little expensive when compared to other places and not for someone who is looking for a pocket friendly place.Over all, a decent place. I would give it a 3 out of five, because of the cost.
