Angadi silks, Bangalore Reviews

Great variety
Nov 01, 2012 12:19 PM 26634 Views

I came here on recommendation of my designer friend and this place did not disappoint me. Since I was shopping for my 25th Karva Chauth, I wanted a very unique saree. The sales staff took me though the most amazing collection of Kanjeevarams I have seen in my life!

I googled to get store number but instead stumbled upon review sites. This site has lot of mixed reviews and I am not a regular reviewer but a store like this definitely deserves positive recommendations and patronage. Kudos to the Angadi staff for preserving our rich heritage!  I will definitely be back to shop for my daughter's engagement.

Looking for unique silk saris, visit Angadi Silk
Sep 17, 2012 07:56 PM 23335 Views

I have been a frequent visitor to Angadi Silks and other sari stores in Jayanagar. But the variety and quality  of saris that Angadi has to offer has always exceeded my expectation especially when it comes to their excellent range of Kanjivaram silk saris. Their customer service has also been consistently good but not perfect.

Sometimes when crowded the billing takes an inordinate amount of time and once the delivery person had even delivered the wrong items to me by mistake. But it is worth going to the store for the excellent ambience and the high quality of products and designs they have to offer.

Not just a saree shop

I had written this as a comment to reply to fellow reviewer Mahajan Chetty and am re-posting for better visibility of the comment. :

They have amazing brass show pieces of which some are antique. I picked up a completely craved brass elephant piece from the showroom for 17, 000/- and it adorns my living room. Though my husband thought that it was a little expensive, It is the most asked about piece in my house and my husband and I absolutely love it.I saw a similar type of piece in Delhi(smaller and less detailed)for 25, 000/- !

We wanted 3 pieces of antique lamps but they had only two and of different sizes. The store manager arranged for 2 similar pieces and 1 slightly smaller piece for us in 1 weeks time and called us for the pick up.They were courteous and very prompt. Loved it.

Good place for women- no hype

We come to Bangalore often but only recently visited this showroom. It has no big banner or ads so I did not know about it. My friends wife took my wife and me here for some casual shopping. Their collection of Khadi and Kanjeevarams is quite vast. My wife bought 3 beautiful sarees for herself and a few cotton -silk-poly mix for gifting purposes. I was a little disappointed with them not having a big collection for men but liked the collection that they had in store.

The best part about my wife shopping there was certainly the price of the products! They were very well priced though they looked very expensive. My wife also spotted some good brass show pieces which looked antique. Some pieces were very expensive but looked unique. They have things that are nice but certainly need to advertise more if they want more customers.

Good- collection, brass items, prices, quality

Bad- Too much crowd on holidays, less choice for men

Unique range and great quality

Though I belong to Bangalore, I live in Mumbai. A few years back I visited every showroom in the city for my daughter's wedding saree. That was the first time that I saw nearly every showroom's complete wedding range. I was surprised to see that some showrooms even had the SAME designs with very slight price variation!

On my sister's recommendation, we went to Angadi. It was a great shop to be in and my daughter picked her wedding saree there. What stood out for us among all the other positives of the store is that they have traditional sarees which are not typical. Both my daughter and I have been an Angadi fans ever since.

I read a few reviews which spoke about problems  during exchange, but personally, the only time that I had to exchange, it was a very easily done. Not to offend others, but I think that any store will ask for the bill, and the product to be intact, to exchange. Hence it is unnecessary to defame a saree shop as sincere as Angadi. Also, if a shop was not strict about exchanges. I would doubt if they were selling me a saree worn by someone else earlier!

Lesson for a loyal customer
Sep 15, 2012 10:28 AM 24933 Views

I am sending this note as a loyal customer to a store for the last 8 years and with much dissappointment now!!

I have always visited Angadi Silks for purchasing sarees, whether it is for gifting, for marriages, or just for an evening wear. It was all good. We go there, with an inclination to buy, the sales personnel and the store staff are kind, after we pick up one or two, sometimes, we may even be asked for coffee or a cool drink...loved every experience

Last year, a day before Diwali, we purchased 2 bandhini sarees.  I gifted one of them to my mother in law after two months of her return from the US.  She wore it two/three times and started noticing that it is tearing, as she tried to drape it or while taking it off...

As a family, we were so confident about the relationship and trust with Angadi that we took it there, explained our case and even looked for other sarees that we may pick up, when this one is exhanged.  One Mr. Prasad politely and convincingly said - "this is from our store and I can see that it is old stock.  We will do the needful when the owner returns in one or two days"

However, when we called back (since they did not bother to call us) the "owner" of the store to ask about what they would do, they completely refused to take any ownership for what had happened and spoke in "strangely odd language" with my mother-in-law.  She spoke about sarees and how they should be taken care of and the rest of it, denying that it was bought less than a year ago.  It was odd because my mother-in-law has only worn sarees and she is 70!!

I am appalled because the trust I had did not prompt me to preserve the bank statement that was 8 months old and my confidence fell.  I also realised how many times I have gone back to smaller stores and even if they don't remember me, they would trust me.  I also started to compare the staff in Angadi with those in  NEERU, a store that is close to angadi silks, where the store manager has been so trusting with me in the past.

My husband visited angadi Silks to meet this lady who is supposed to be the owner.  She told him that she was not the owner and the real owner would be back soon and they would let us know.

We are still waiting!!!

A big store with no trust and a small heart!  I know my not being a customer there will make little difference to their business or their popularity, but I felt it is only right for me to voice my opinion also.

Not a bad place to shop
Jul 19, 2012 06:39 PM 17935 Views

I was reading some reviews about the behavior of the sales person working in angadi, . Well it is sort of true that this place has some irresponsible sales people.

My experience with this place has been from being good to average. I have visited this place starting 2006 for purchase of my wedding sarees to every consecutive year for onam .sometimes I have come out upset for not finding good collection (salwar)but also to be noted I have found exclusive salwar suit material at different instances.sarees  are of good quality. all the sarees bought at this place have been really good. Unmatched quality.

Even I have encountered this indifference in the sales person's attitude. Dont lose your cool .i think one can politely decline the guy /lady attending to you if you dont like that particular character, and look around for someone else to display their collection. Believe me I have tried it and it has worked :) ...

My wedding sarees were exceptionally good, every year bought sarees from this place for Onam and. Vishu for my in-law and mom and also sometime for their b'day.quality undoubtedly good. Salwar materials (silk) were good. But a cotton material semi stitched had problem. Last onam I couldn't get my hands on good salwar material as  there were none.

Definitely don't go to this place expecting customer friendliness ... You will be in for a surprise .....Anything can happen with respect to that.you may get treated good too....i go here for the sheer pleasure of shopping sarees for its quality.price is comparatively on the higher side.. Not much but still.

I have exchanged sarees after a week also without any complication. I did not encounter rock faces..they were pretty normal during exchange. But yes I don't pull the saree out of its folding and also make it a point to keep the bill and angadi tag intact.

Places like kalanjali, kumaran, prasiddhi are good with customers.Try those if looking for a good shopping experience.

Good luck

A must go for sarees
Apr 26, 2012 01:44 PM 13572 Views

I went to Angadi silks last month with my family and extremely delighted to see the collection. They have a wonderful range that caters to not just young women like me but also sarees that look wonderful on older women. The temptation to buy some more was a lot! I was really confused about what I wanted but thankfully, with some help from the staff I was able to pick beautiful sarees for my sister and me.

Anyone who has seen me in that saree has showered me with compliments! I will definitely visit it when I go to Bangalore next.

Please avoid this shop as much as possible. I really had a very bad experience with this shop.

I felt humiliated in front of other customers. Angadi silks might have a great name but with this attitude they might not survive. They dont believe in anything called customer friendliness, or making the customers happy. They showed us that only money matters. Recently I purchased a saree from this shop worth 14k. There are two ladies who manage the shop, One mid aged and one elderly lady. When I was selecting the saree the elderly lady was saying so many nice things,

this color will look good on you and etc. They try to push towards higher price sarees and for customers  who shop for more amount they were all smiles, taking the sarees to car, arranging refreshments etc.

Their real nature came out when I went for an exchange the next day. The day I purchased the saree,

I opened it fully at home and I was not able to fold back to its original form. I managed to fold it in a nice way and next day me and my friend  went to exchange the saree. In the billing counter they verified the bill and called the mid aged lady for verification.  I think her name is Padma, not sure though. The moment she touched the saree she said it cannot be exchanged. The reason she told was really lame and I really got angry.  She said that the saree has lost its foldings and it cannot be folded back as it was in the shop. Is that an excuse, common you gotta be kidding me.  Are all silk sarees when weaved they fold it in this way? You should have seen that woman's face. They were all smiles when we were buying, now they were looking like rock.  Common, you can discuss and advise not to do such things, may be they can even say a word when the purchase is done itself that the Saree should exactly be in same condition.  They give just 3 days to as exchange period, so its worth mentioning when you buy itself. I understand that folding the saree to its original way or ironing out is extra work,

but for that they need not be this rude.

This lady took the saree to the elder lady and she started saying - what you have done to this saree?

She repeated this sentence loudly and everybody in the shop were staring at us. She was also saying - Who will buy this saree now and No other customer will make such mistakes.  It was really annoying and my friend got very angry and she said we made a mistake of folding like this.  By now the middle aged lady said I cannot exchange the saree and gave the saree to the billing counter. I requested the billing counter people to help but they said if they agree we dont have a problem.  The middle aged lady started saying that if manager comes to know he will scold her. I asked her that I will talk to the manager but she completely ignored me and  started walking whole length and breadth of the shop.I was angry enough to leave the shop but since it is a costly saree I requested her to try folding again to its original way. They called a sales person to do that.  Meanwhile the old lady again saw the saree and said - You have bleached the saree, and she started showing that to a customer who was selecting sarees asking will you buy this saree. Thankfully that guy was able to fold back properly and they agreed for an exchange. It was a nightmare experience and I have done exchange before in other shops. Beleive me nobody behaves like this.  They may be business people but without customers they cannot do business. They have to seriously take behavior lessons.  My friend was thinking of buying a saree after the exchange but because of their behavior she did not want to buy here. In future if anybody asks for suggestions also we are not going to recommend Angadi silks.

The management should analyze how the shop is being run.

Check the product before purchase
Apr 15, 2011 01:41 PM 15022 Views

Its definitely a good place to shop but double check before you purchase anything.

I purchased a kurti set material in Feb2011 for rs. 1269. I wanted to stich it now. to my surprise the material was damaged. I did not have the bill but I had the barcod tag with the price on it. I had purchase then during a sale of 10%.

The guy whom I told the issue goes to the owner and says its not their mistake but its the customers mistake. Yes, its my mistake that I did not check the material at the shop carefully. I am a regular customer there and this has never happend to me. the ower started off saying why did I not come with this earlier for which I exxplained that I decided to stich them only now.

I told her I would take another set for this price.

So she says I will give you discount of 15%(10% my earlier which was given during the sale)+ 5%= I got out of the store with rs. 58 in hand.I bet the cost of petrol would not have been covered either.

My only word of caution is make sure you check the product throughly before purchase.

Beautiful store -some good staff, some indifferent
Mar 03, 2011 04:24 PM 13832 Views

I visited this store with my parents, spouse and brother for Diwali shopping on 17th October, 2010. This was my seventh or eighth visit to the store. Every time I have gone, we have bought silk sarees from the ground floor and satisfied with the service. I don't recollect the name, but there are 2 sales people who have been especially sharp in gauging the colors we liked, patterns and showing more of it.

Yesterday for the first time, my mother suggested she wanted some classy cotton sarees. I thought of hussar silk. We decided to explore that first. When we went up, the senior guy at the 2nd floor was outright rude when I asked him for hussar silk.

He looked me up and down and asked - what range?? I said - Where is hussar available? It's not your business to size me up for the range. He got pissed off and redirected us to a female. She was showing us 3-4 sarees and disappeared without a word. After waiting for 5 min, my mom walked up to reach for a saree that caught her attention and was looking at it.

The female came back and said - get out of here, you shouldn't come on this side of the table. They were the actual words she used. I told her there are many ways to say the same thing. Saying - "Please be seated comfortably, I'll show that and more" She looked up angry, but later agreed that she was rude. After that she lost interest and started throwing around sarees on us.

We got up, came down and reported it. The lady who spoke to us was very concerned, professional and she insisted that she will take us around. She really meant it, but the mood of the evening was ruined and so we ended up going to Nalli to finish our Diwali shopping.

Angadi--another name for arrogance
Aug 06, 2010 09:48 PM 9104 Views

What are the essential qualities of a customer service organization?

  1. Customer first - Knowing that a customer is not an impediment, but the very reason for their existence

  2. Customer satisfaction - Providing the best of service to the customer at all times and making a sincere attempt to find a solution to his problem

  3. Customer delight - Going out of the way to exceed customer expectations and making them come back again and again and also bring along several others into the delightful store.

Angadi Silks doesn't have any of these qualities. Neither do they know the definition of customer satisfaction and delight nor do they care a damn if the customer is unhappy with their service.

Another very interesting thing which you can notice at this store are a few human robos or in other words a substitute for computers who can just work as they are programmed. They cannot take any decision on their own if there is a need to satisfy a customer [in an exceptional case of course]. The entire staff, irrespective of thier positions, from sales men to the managers all of them are very well trained to repeat the same words if there is a problem and justlike the computers theycannot accept any data without the bill or tag for an exchange.

Just imagine apregnant lady [in her 9th month]walks into the shopafter travelling the length of Bangalore just to exchange a saree, unfortunately not carrying the bill or theitem codeattached to the saree is sent back without any consideration of her state for the sake of a bill? How ridiculous these people can be. Iam a doctor by profession and have visited several shops all over Bangalore and out side but I have never seen such attitude anywhere. People will be more than willing to help a lady who is carrying without any hesitation.

Any way this is hieght of being incourteous.

Avoid this store at all costs. This is a store that glitters fromoutside but is filled with arrogance and bad behavior inside.

Unprofessional Staff at Angadi
Aug 02, 2010 12:48 PM 10180 Views

I had a terrible experience at Angadi Silks recently. Believe me, the store is an attractive place, but without a soul. The store is well placed and very spacious, but the people who run the store don't share the same kind of open-mindedness. A simple saree exchange turned out to be a full-fledged argument with the managers of the store accusing us of being unreasonable and unprofessional. I have bought sarees at several places in and around Bangalore and my experience has been that the shop owners place the highest premium on customer friendliness. Even if the situation is impossible, there is always an attempt to find a solution to the problem to the satisfaction of the customers. The more organized the store the more customer-friendly they become.

But Angadi silks is an exception. They take pride in being professional and being computerized and always going by the rules. What this translates to for customers is that (people behind) the store are wooden-faced, rude, inflexible, unhelpful, customer unfriendly and lack even a semblance of human touch. Maybe Angadi doesn't care about small clients, maybe they don't need to worry about losing insignificant ( in terms of worth) customers, but they are forgetting that the opinions of many such small customers form the overall opinion about this store. If they want to disregard it, it is their loss. I will not gain anything by highlighting these points, but if the owners of this store are serious about their business they will take these suggestions seriously.

We took a saree that was gifted to my wife by a relative for exchange. We travelled more than 25 kms for this only to be sent back by the store without an exchange. Of course we didn't have bill for the saree, but we had the actual saree with Angadi Silks packing. The person at the exchange counter refused to even look at the saree or hear our request. All he kept repeating was that he can't do anything without the bill or the bill number. We tried to reason out that we couldn't possibly have the bill as it was gifted and if they can recognize this as their own product, they should exchange it. But the person at the exchange counter refused to even look at the saree. When insisted, he asked us to talk to a tall lady in one extreme corner of the saree hall. We then went to this lady who didn't even acknowledge our presence at first. We then, started conversation by requesting her for the exchange. Without a smile, the lady retorted saying she cant do anything without the bill and item code. This is not what we had expected from the person who managed the store. We expected a more patient hearing and an attempt to find a solution. She flatly refused to talk to us any further and we had to go out. We were very disappointed with her behavior, but since this was a gifted saree, we thought we had no say and came out of the store.

But I still felt that we could talk to the owner and sort this out. So, I came in and spoke to an elderly gentleman sitting at a counter near the door. Even before I could explain the situation, he gave a pre-meditated response that he couldn't do anything without the bill and the item code. He also told me that they were a professionally run store who could not entertain such things. I was shocked to hear that response. I always thought professionalism meant understanding the human needs and working towards customer satisfaction in a service setup. In this case, the people running the store felt that everything depended on the computer which made them more professional. I tried to ask if there was a possibility of finding out the details of the purchase by searching the date and time of purchase in the computer, they refused to even attempt that solution saying that their computer never maintained the time of purchase and it was impossible for them to exchange the item. The tall lady was seen advising this elderly man not entertain 'these people' in Tamil. A third person--a lady--volunteered to help, but when we explained the situation, we heard the same familiar response, that she cant do anything without the bill and the item code. Only that she had a smile on her face was a saving grace.

This felt like poor management and a pathetic excuse. After this experience this is what I felt:

  1. The store is poorly managed with little or no concern for customer experience. The store manager is more interested in rules rather than customer satisfaction

  2. There is bureacracy without common sense. The store attendents are not empowered to take any decisions and simply refer the case to their superiors

  3. Nobody seems to own the company. Everyone acted as though it is some job to be done and everyone was more interested in educating us on the rules rather than giving us a solution.

  4. Non-co-operation was evident with none of the so-called responsible people wanting to identify

themselves with names nor did they want to reveal the name of the owner. I could make out that none of the 3 people we spoke to were owners, but mere managers. If they were owners, they wouldn't have allowed me to go out without a solution.

  1. If a customer comes for exchange without bill, the people in the store look at them suspiciously. This is a great disrespect shown to customer/potential customers.

  2. They wereready to fight in public. They wanted to win the argument battle at all costs, but sadly

they dont realize that they have lost the war of gaining more customers.

Excellent and Satisfactory shopping at Angadi Silk
Jun 28, 2010 05:35 PM 6546 Views

I would completely deny the bad experiences that some people have written. You get so many variety of sarees , and I had the most best experience there. I got sarees for my sister marriage for around 50K and I did have to go in auto and was waiting with the shop employees. The management lady called me and sent me in her car. I never have expected such a help from an unknown person that too in Bangalore. I m really really surprised that there were so many collections there.

They gave me the design what I asked for. They took the order and did the same way I asked for mayil kan veshti.. Angadi silks is the best place to shop if you want varieties colours and satisfaction for money

I ll strongly recommend this store for anyone who wish to get silk sarees.

No respect for customers, arrogance
Jun 22, 2010 01:43 PM 5443 Views

I went there once the first time, when they had just finish a festival, to be specific after pongal, their shelves were empty, and I didnt like anything, I was actually loooking for a saree for my engagement, we did not buy anything and the sales people started grumbling and when we went upstairs the sales person down signalled the person above that we wouldnt buy anything, so the guy above hardly showed anything.

I got a very beautiful saree for my Engagement in viyaylakshmi silks MG Road.

We went there again after sometime. bought a lot of sarees about 9. amounting tp close to 50, 000. everybody in the shop, including sales people was very very happy.

I went there again and brought two more sarees and ordered a saree for my wedding, MY BRIDAL WEAR. because they said they take orders. they called after a month and said the saree had come, I went there and saw that it wasnt excatly what I wanted, it had a mustard shade in the border whereas I wanted a gold border. everybody together in the shop, sales people and the lady incharge tried to corn me saying its is a gold border and I very clerly said its mustard border and had an argument to refuse to buy the saree.

However I made a payment of 11, 000 and asked them to bring an other saree, two and a half months later, they still havent been able to deleiver I called them up to follow up and the lady hung up on me saying that I will not get the saree that I have asked for.after so long. when I went there as usual they are not interested in a customer who have come to ask about the order and will not buy anything. I will not compromise on my bridal wear, I will buy my bridal wear from VIJAYA LAKSMI SILKS. I will never go there again. horrible attitude. there are lot of places where you can get what you need. I will never be compelled to buy what I dont need

It was a quite good experience as I came to know about the new kind of dyes and the modern style of weaving more than the product I like the detail give by the guy their as even he was so polite and quite and never got frustrated as the other sales person did to me he was the one who greeted me and assisted me a sales person(female) she begin ed quite with a smile and later she aroused  me every 10min "Mam did u like anything".

I said no sudden she put up her words to another salesperson she came and assisted me but she never knew what  was looking for as t was my first visit to the store i'am basically from chennai but came here with my daughter as she stays in bangalore. really it was a rare view for me as I always never purchase a Saree quickly but here I had a very good experience as I would always like to come here for my son's wedding.......thanx a lot 2 the guy who helped me.............

Always a great shopping experience !!!!
May 12, 2009 11:35 PM 6352 Views

Looking around for some great sarees has always been a wonderful experience for me at Angadi Silks. I've seen the shop scale up in the last 7 years or so. Though it scaled up considerably to keep pace with the just concluded economic boom, I am told by the elders in my family that the store's elderly staff members & the owners always remind one of the good old RASI silks of good old Madras when it started in a quite corner of Mylapore .

No, I am not the passionate silk saree buyer. I always go for their never ending collection of polycottons & pure cottons with price tags that suit my pocket.and ofcourse for their very imaginative collection of ready to stitch salwar kameezes in an affordable price range.I am always the hurried shopper and would enter the store invariably around it's closing time, but I have never returned dissappointed ever.and the proprietor's gracious "better half" would make sure I get what I am looking for.quite often I envy her collection of old kancheevaram sarees & the manner in which she majestically drapes the pallu around her.

I like the store's policy of not encouraging exchange of items once sold. I do not like purchasing sarees which have been already taken out of the store and brought back after being folded & unfolded by several hands. I like my sarees to be fresh, crisp with the smell of the loom intact.I always make sure I pick up a piece from their latest stock .I always insist that for I should be the first to touch, feel & smell my new saree.

Of late, the store has some interesting collection of readymade cotton kalamkari printed shirts & khadi sarees of a superior quality which I have not come across any where so far. .I picked up 2 khadi cotton sarees recently, very very elegant yet simple.they are value for money spent well.for in my own way I could help those hands that had reeled the thread, hand spun the yarn and handwoven the saree.all for a living.!

Keep the great work, Angadi Silks.

WORST EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jan 24, 2009 10:59 PM 6356 Views

I was under the impression that this was a reputable store but I'm sorry to say that I was accosted with such boorish, rude, and insulting behavior of all of your associates.I am a permanent US resident and my mother had come to visit me for a period of 4 months. I had asked my brother to send a couple saris for her Birthday as a surprise so I could give it to her while she was in my house. Unfortunately, she told me she already had similar saris and I thought she could exchange it when she got back to Bangalore, India. I had even asked my relatives in Bangalore to talk with the manager of Angadi Silks who apparently at the time said exchanging would not be a problem and she was more than welcome to do so upon her return to Bangalore. My mother went to the store today(merely 3 days after setting foot in India) to exchange the two saris(one worth Rs. 2000 and the other Rs. 3000). She was treated with utter disrespect and all the sales associates including the manager denied ever having made a promise to exchange them at all! After a great deal of persuasion, they agreed to finally exchange them, and in the time my mother looked around the store for other saris, someone at the counter STOLE THE RECEIPT(strangely the Rs. 3000 one!) that was in the sari and told her she couldn't exchange it because the receipt was MISSING! Now, this is definitely not what one expects from a so-called reputable store. Angadi Silks is a place RUN by CHEATS with the lowest of business and customer ethics.I wanted to bring this to somebody's attention, in the hopes that my complaint does not go in vain.

One of the worst experience at Angadi ailks
Mar 04, 2008 03:59 PM 12042 Views

I had a bad experience with ANGADI SILKS, one of teh finest showroom for silks in Jayanagar , Bangalore. The service though is fine but it all began like this. The moment I started looking out for silk dresses that too in the range of 5000-6000 a person comes and asks mam, do u need coffee or tea. Ok then until I decided to buy one of the dress worth 5200/- the attitude was really good.

Since it was a Sunday , I could not get the alteration done for my dress that day. so I just billed and went for alteration the next day(luckily I stay close by). The attitude and behavior was altogether different from the previous day, !!!!! I had asked for altering salwar top and bottom with correct specifications and every detail on Monday . But Yelo!!!!!

On tuesday when I went asking for my dress, they told its not ready. Next on Wednesday the guy by sheshappa whom I had not seen started saying u should have told whatever alterations u needed to me but of all how should I know whom to talk to? its the stores responsibility to see to it that iam served properly and show me the person whom I should be talking to. I had spoken to somebody else as told by one of the store person, even sheshappas attitude was that of very arrogant and kinda bad. still I composed my self and when he started pointing my mistake only I remembered that before when I had spoken to one more guy abt alterations he had marked that on my dress , once I showed him he realised a liitle bit so wednesday I jus came back with salwar bottom only. Thursday yet to see wether I will get my dress or ??? Watch out....guys U R TREATED WELL UNTIL U BUY ......

They have the most complete and class collections of sarees I have ever seen in my life! they have all types of sarees but my favourite is and always will be KANJEEVARAM! they have such unique and awesome collects in Kanjeevaram that I purchased 2 extra sarees. the extra sarees I purchased were only because the could was good and the price was too reasonable.

My main saree is a light pink kanjeevarm with dark blue combination. It looks like only a maharani will wear it. Even when I just simply put it in the showroom for trail, everyone was only looking at me! I feel so so beautiful. that saree makes me look beautiful. Even when I wore it to my sisters reception in kolkata, everyone gave so many praises!  I want to thank Angadi because I was going to buy some other saree but they told me to buy this one because this was from a special collection. I only buyed because of trust and told that if no one praises me, I will never come back. I was joking only because even when I did trial in store all were looking at me. Also, there was another aunty who wanted to buy same saree in the store so I am happy I purchased it and said it is booked before she could take it. Sorry aunty! All I want to say is, if you want style, quality, reasonable and best in sarees ONLY go to Angadi. Angadi rocks!
