Amity Global Business School, Ahmedabad Reviews

Excellent School for overall growth
Sep 30, 2024 05:49 PM427 Views

The diversity at Amity Global School Noida is refreshing. Students from various backgrounds come together, promoting a culture of inclusion and respect. This has helped my child develop an understanding of different perspectives and cultures, preparing them for a globalized world.

Worst school in NCR

Worst school of Noida.

They trap parents in the name of IB syllabus.

They share every resource of Amity international even the teachers are teaching in two schools.

Staff is sweet at the time of admission and very rude afterwards.

They don't return caution money.

They give inhygennic food so the children get sick Every year.

No security of children and even their belongings are stolen from the school never to be found. I think they have dummy cameras otherwise nothing of such can happen.

Principal and management committee people are invisible. You can't approach them.

Very poor in response. Hardly answer mails and msgs. Calls go unattended many times.

They are super secrative in everything in the name of school policy.

Favouritism is on hike.

No participation in any of the competitions.

They don't organise any annual day.

Reviews with 5 star are fake. Most of them are from Amity staff.

No placements

I have joined this institue after completing my undergraduation in Auro University.

It is located in Gurugram, Haryana.

I was told at the time of joining that even a clerk of this collge gets placements.

But after I completing my graduation in MBA I came to know that only one or two students from the whole batch gets the placements and other students are just left alone with their degrees.

Truly I got so much frustrated about them but I can't do anything to them.

I was helpless at that moment.

But now I would tell you that you should think thrice before joining this institute.

Good for Mediocre students

The school is good for average and below average students but if the child is already above average then one should definitely put their child elsewhere for better his/her growth.

I recently heard from many of our friends whose children have been studying at this school that the school has been deliberately over reporting their academic achievements in competitive examinations for years.

The diasaster just began

The school like its owners is a sham. They say IB but most don't know how to teach.except for English and German teachers and chemistry rest r time pass.food is horrible . The principal will just sit on issues and rather not do anything to annoy the parents who r a source of income for this fraud institution. The children r bullies.Hitting abusing is a time pass which most students do dearly like. U can keep telling the principal about issues next day same problem. The money they charge is huge but poor standards .this is how such schools thrive in a atmosphere of incompetence and corruption . Don't send ur word to this school .it looks good in beginning as the reality will draw u will curse itself. Like owners like principal.total gutter.

Mixed Thoughts

When I first came to this college for admission, all I saw was a building. I remember telling my mom that this is not a "college"that I want to study in. But I got in anyway because it wasn't my plan on doing masters and just wanted to get it over with. Hated it the first month. No campus nothing. Then I started making some really good friends. We had so much fun in class. We used to sneak in food and eat, play 8 ball pool while the class was going on. Oh it was fun then. They're my best friends now. We're 10 of us. And it's been 6 months since I graduated and looking back, I miss college. I miss the college that I didn't want to join at all. Sometimes some people can make places better. And now if you ask me, I love this college.

Disgusting

Where do I start, my son got admission in school sum time back and what a horrible experience. Teaching was absolute joke, teachers were such dumbos they taught syllabus slow like a snail, it seemed like they picked any random people walking around in Huda nd rajokri to cum and teach this place. The canteen was so disgusting, there were ants and insects found many times in food, the food was from outside and served in plates which people sed were dirtier than toilet maggas, a lot times some ppl had to sit on the stairs to eat becaus there was not enough place to eat. students were not able to play games, in photos they show gud pictures like swimming pool but they don't even have a play ground, only side play ground which was smaller than a classroom. Horribul experience, never recommended to go there.

Worst Experience Ever!!

Teachers are very unqualified. Food looks like it’s been made in a trash can. Very oillyyy and unhealthy. Multiple times insects were found in the food. The teachers look like they’ve failed class 12 multiple times. No knowledge of the subject at all. Very poor teaching standards, my maid looks like she’s more knowledgable than the teachers in the school.

Excellent

I write this review to address the experience that I get in Amity Global Business School - Ahmedabad.

Amity Ahmedabad is having highly experienced and highly qualified faculty. Whole faculty is best in knowledge as well as nature. They try their best in making students understand the facts and memorising them. Overall faculty is bestest.

Amity Ahmedabad is having record in placement providing. Famous companies such as amazon, flipkart, tech mahendra, Tata, Havells, Godrej. etc. All have tie up with Amity Ahmedabad. I came to know that this year Amity Ahmedabad has given 12 L Rs. package to the student. Average CTC is 4.5 L. Good Show.

It also provide you a very reach library with more than 400 journals and references.

Environment is nice. Building and infrastructure are reach . For sports activities saperate facilities are available. They will even support you financially, if you have any innovative idea.

In Amity Ahmedabad I see, overall development of the student.

You will definitety enjoy the moments that you spend here .

Have a Nice Day .

It's probably the best #BSchool in Mumbai. The campus is such a treat to your eyes. The education quality is top notch! The crowd and the atmosphere are amazing and energetic.

Campus placement is impressive too. If you want to get into this college, don't hesitate. Go for it! #AmityMumbai

Amity also has a campus in Panvel, New Bombay.

Avoid. Go to a better institute

Amity Noida is offering degrees at Ahmedabad and other places without UGC approval. You will pay Rs 6 lakhs or more to get a "flexi mode" degree - whatever that means(check their website and UGC approval letter). Academics is the last thing for Amity. The institutes are run like coaching centres and hardly like business schools. It is hardly global - no global courses or faculty. So it misguides students by calling itself global when it is actually quite local.

Be careful. Check out before you place your money
Apr 25, 2018 12:16 PM3468 Views

Amity Chandigarh is perhaps the only place in the world where we had to contribute money to have our area cleaned. It is so focused on saving money that it hardly has time for academics. I was surprised that students were often marked present in the class while they had been sent outside to collect money for sponsorships. Papers were marked by local teachers but somehow Amity Noida gave its degrees, in violation of UGC rules, which says that universities in a state are not allowed to offer degrees outside their territorial jurisdiction.

The UGC rules are available here:

https://ugc.ac.in/deb/notices/UGCLetterTerritorialJurisdiction.pdf

Clearly, a university based in Noida cannot distribute it degrees outside UP. Unscrupulous and unethical private universities are doing just that.

Therefore, while choosing a degree course, it is always good to check whether it is being offered within rules or not. Keep the following points in mind:

  1. Would you pay Rs 6 lakhs to get a “flexi mode” degree? Insist on seeing the UGC approval letter before joining.

  2. Ask how “global” a global institute actually is. Does it have global faculty or courses? Or is it run by local faculty and local people and still call themselves global?

  3. Check out the placements: at Amity Global Business School, Chandigarh I saw four or five placement officers in five years; in one season there was no placement officer at all: frustrated students shared their experiences on facebook. Also check out the actual packages received by students and whether the companies listed actually recruit from the campus or not.

  4. Check out which industries are called for industry interactions. You will be surprised.

  5. Check out the facilities: do you want to spend the next two years of life in what looks like and run like a coaching centre?

  6. Check out their “best” faculty – how many teachers are from the top ranked business schools?

  7. Why not join a growing institute rather than one that manages to get just 60-70 students in the MBA course every year despite their best efforts? Are people able to see through their claims?

You might be better off in a better university or institute that offers a rich cultural life, better education and better facilities – an less fees!

After all, it is your money – remember the  principle of caveat emptor – let the buyer beware!

NO NO NO NO!

The worst education you could get. It's a laughing stock. No college life. I had to go here as I was too late to apply to other universities and didn't want to waste a year. It's like a high school wherein students in the back row giggle and make fun of teacher's. Teacher's on the other hand, have no knowledge, are qualified from sub par universities, are not interested in teaching and are downright lazy. There is no campus, just one floor. The staff treat students like children and lock the table tennis room and bar students from leaving the floor if you want to skip a class or not attend a'compulsory' meeting with the director. Teacher's promote cheating in the exam and phones are highly encouraged. Air conditions in classroom also dont work. There is one toilet for the whole floor, it stinks like hell. This was without doubt the worst three years of my life. The canteen has 3 items- samosa, coke and bread without butter. 90% of the permanent teachers can barely speak English and have attained their degrees from villages. Visiting faculties are not respected by students so they refuse to come.

They do not affiliate this with amity noida, so be careful. The global business schools have their own crappy brand name. I strongly implore you not to go here even if it means you have to wait a year to apply to other universities. Starting salary for BBA-10, 000/month, MBA-20, 000/month.

No reputation whatsoever.

There hospitality was not good
Nov 22, 2017 01:24 PM8380 Views (via Android App)

I once visited amity global school on behalf of my school for a basketball match.

I don't have any issue regarding their academics and infra structure.

But the experience I had with crowd there I mean the students and staff their was not good.

On the day I visited first problem I faced was there parking issue we wasted our 15 min for just parking our team bus.

Secondly the cordinater who was with us was not doing his job correctly.

He just gave us 9 packets of refreshment but we were 13 people In all. Then we have argue for that.

Also I didn't like they gave refreshment.

Third one was the referee decision but I won't mind this as its a sports we need to accept that.

They also didn't had the proper seating arrangement.

Rest all was good we won the match also but they didn't hosted it well.

General professionalism of staff

Good institutional facilities

Wifi in whole campus(laptops, tabs only. NO PHONE and MOBILES - sad indeed)

Good classrooms - with surveillance he he

Decent avg package(7 lacs) for MBA's, Amity Malad campus also offers full time MBA.

Quality of faculty is excellent and their experiences too.

Teaching quality of specialization related elective subjects is the Best. mostly case study based

The Best part of learning is Experiential Learning and Management workshop

Infrastructure

Good crowd

Now Amity is having one more campus in Navi Mumbai in Panvel, but thats too far from town and western suburbs

Cons:.

Dress code

Number of quality summer/winter internships(Only single day internship is provided, no stay)

Canteen can be better

Car Parking Problem

Few faculty - too strict

Too strict in terms of attendance(MIN 75% Attendance is a Must to sit for next semester exam)

Amity Business School Mumbai - Malad West Campus
Mar 30, 2017 02:45 PM6191 Views

Done with my HSC examinations and now highly confused between Amity Business School Malad West Campus and NMIMS for BBA, Amity is decent enough with positive reviews and good feedback from my seniors studying there, but can't deny the feeling that it isn't as known as NMIMS. A few friends suggested Amity and a few said it's only for richies. I read the ratings online which were mixed(and confused me even more). Amity's fees are around 5.5L and NMIMS's fees are around the same(which doesn't really matter that much).

I also came to know about one more Amity campus in Navi Mumbai Panvel on Mumbai Pune Expressway, which is said to be their University campus, but it would be too far from Andheri

Other options are BMS/BAF/BFM but people gets confused with these Degree, while BBA is well known

Amity has campuses outside of India as well, and Study Abroad Program while NMIMS do have students exchange program.

My dad had a word with the professors there and was really impressed.

I am thoroughly confused, at this point, and would really appreciate it if someone would help me. Thanks a lot!

Premium B-School in Mumbai
Mar 30, 2017 12:59 PM6450 Views

Good academics and case study based learning pattern, though Fee is more towards the higher side being a premium category B-School. This is the oldest campus of Amity University in Mumbai based at Mindspace, Malad West since 2008 offering full time MBA and BBA programs. There are limited 90 seats for MBA and 60 seats for BBA in Malad Campus and the admission is through entrance test and personal interview only. Now they also have one more campus in Panvel, New Bombay near Mumbai-Pune Expressway.
