I have received this AMEX Gold Card..If i do not use it even once would i be charged for annual membership??

Yes you will be charged for annual membership even if you do not use it.

If you have Amex Gold Charge card than no, you cannot balance transfer service. But if you have Silver Credit card, than yes.
