I never go out in the sun without a good sunblock on. I find that Ambre Solaire Sunblock Milk Sun Sensitive Skin, does protect me from getting a sun burn.
I have tried a number of different brands, (Avon, Nivea...etc.), but found that this works the best for me, because I have very sensitive skin. You would think that because my skin complection is a medium colour.
Applying It:
You apply any sun tan lotion before you put on your bathing suit. The sun rays can go through material.
You fold up your hand to make a small cup , (because in comes out so fast), and pour some lotion into it. Then you start applying the lotion from the bottom of your soles, (soles burn so don't forget this area of your body) to your forehead, (close your eyes so you can cover the lids).
The lotion is white and you would think that you would have to spend a lot of time rubbing it into your skin. However, it absorbs so fast, you will think you put a sun oil on.
The company makes this cream from no SPF to 60. Please never buy one under 15 SPF, (even if you have a dark tan).
There is a mild scent, but it doesn't bother me because it is hypo-allergenic.
Don't go out in the sun yet... you need to spray your hair with a leave in conditioner and put on a lip gloss that has at least a 15 SPF.
Now you can get your towel, lotion, hat, a good book to read, and you're all ready to sun tan.
If you go into the water it will protect you for about a half an hour and then you must apply it again.
Please don't leave it near children, (you can use it on your children, but just don't let their hands get on it, because it looks like milk).
I paid $6.00 CAD, for a 200ml bottle,in a Duty Free Shop, on my way to South Korea.
The Ingredients are:
Aqua, Octocrylene, C12-15 Alkyl Bensoate, Cylopentasiloxane, Titanium Dioxide, Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane, (I can't even pronounce that word), Isohexadecane, Stearyl Heptanoate, Stearic acid, PVP, Eicosene, Copolymer, Potassium Cetyl Phosphate, Drometrizole Trisiloxane, Tocopherol, Phenoxyethanol, Stearyl Caprylate, Peg-100, Stearate, Ethylparaben, Triethanolamine, Dimethicone Xanthan Gum, Acrylates, c10-30, Alkyl, Acrylate Crosspolymer, Disodium Edta, Butyrospermum, Perfume P, Parkll, Aluminium Hydroxide, Glyceryl Stearate and Glycine Soja.
If You Get Burnt:
First you rub the burnt area with a slice of tomato or cucumber. Then you put on some mayonnaise, and stand up until it dries. You'll find the burn isn't stinging as much.
What I Thought About It:
Men and Women can use this lotion. I am very impressed with the Ambre Solaire Sun Milk and I would defiantly buy it again.
