This branch is located in a little off place. But it is a great casual dining place. I hang out there often with my friends. I don't consider this to be a great family hangout place after 8 pm since there are two wine shops int he vicinity and anything may happen when drunk fellas are around.
So, about the ambience, the best time to visit is in the winter or not on a so hot day, because there are outdoor seating provisions.
You can have there some of the best kebabs compared to other places in South Delhi. The waiters are pretty decent and serves with great concern for their customers. I have a thumb's up for this place. Food for two will cost approx 800-1000 INR.

The serve Delhi’s best Kakori kababs hands-down! I am a vegetarian by choice and did not have non-vegetarian food since the past one year because of health issues. This place is to be blamed for breaking my food oath. Though I had their delicious Panner tikka dish on my plate, I decided to just taste a bite from my husband’s plate of fantastic looking Kakori kababs. And that was it. It was so delicious that I could not just stop eating one piece after the other!
I had vegetarian Biryani to go with it and the combination simply rocked.
Though a small place with a very limited space for tables; this place is always jam-packed with people especially on the weekends. We have been there thrice and every time we got to witness the rush.
It is a famous outlet in RK Puram and the locals are very proud of it. Everyone visiting Delhi should come here. Your trip to Delhi will be incomplete if you don't drop by to Alkakori. This place is amazing and the food here is to die for.
There was no need for me to see the menu, as I knew I will order my favourites anyway, which are Galoti Kebabs with the special praatha, and Mutton Korma with Naan. Then came the food, which I must say is the worst ever I have had in past. It has been 5 hours, and I still have the same filthy sour taste in my mouth.
Sometimes its not your day, but this seems like having the very very very very very bad day for the chef. I know they make better food, I know there food is loved by people, and hence I will not judge them by today's food. I will still give them 4 but that is because of there wonderful past performance.
Will surely visit this place very soon.
YOUR RATING ON
This is one of my favourite restaurants in Delhi. Even though quite a lot of people dislike the outdoor seating, I seem to love the idea of dining under the stars and eating absolutely delicious mouth-watering food. I've visited Alkauser three times till now and they never fail to impress.
When it comes to mughlai cuisine, this place can seriously give Karim's a run for its money. Absolutely mouth watering kakori kebabs and galouti kebabs albeit a little on the spicy side. They just seemed to melt in the mouth and wait! there's more, their lucknawi dum handi mutton biryani is definitely worth a try.
I recommend this place to all those who enjoy good mutton preparations.
Let me start this review by saying if you want to have Biryani in Delhi- Alkauser is the place to go.
Though; its a road side arrangement but you can see a Beemer to a Merc to an Audi there.
One of the finest biryanis I ever had in life. The serve biryani in authentic manner in a pottery bowl and the smell of Mutton biryani is enough to tease your taste buds. Given; they are able to deliver the food little earlier they will go a long way in serving the best to the customer. It takes 10 15 minutes to get your ordered biryani but its worth the wait.
Great place to go with your friends and girl friends. Enjoy tasty yet cheap biryani.
