It was family trip in the year 2012 with 27 members. We had entire day trip to explore Jaipur and nearby areas. After a whole day enjoyable experiences in fort, art gallery and restaurants, we finally decided to end up with some shopping. By the time we were gossiping about shopping in our hired bus, the driver suggested us not to miss Albert Hall Museum. There are some exceptional historic and traditional galleries from weapons to fabrics, handicrafts to paintings which are worth to explore.
So, we all visited the museum. It was not so gigantic but the concept of the place was so well communicated through its collections that everyone of us became speechless. One of my aunt said that what we explored in the entire day has actually been understood and realized in Albert Hall museum. It communicated the ancient lifestyle and materialistic item usage of the people of this region. One can evaluate the lifestyle and the level of expertise and efficiency of the people of ancient periods. It also depicts our ancient culture, traditions and values. Overall, it actually makes us feel proud.
There was one government authorized shopping gallery also from where we purchased lots of things like, fabrics, handicrafts, paintings, fragrance items, traditional wood toys, showpieces. Even one of my cousin aged 8 years purchased sword which definitely was sharp less.
The sellers at the gallery were in their traditional outfit which attracts lot of tourists. The hospitality has been awesome. If you don't want to buy anything, you can just see them or can do a window shopping sort of. But, I bet, you can't resist your self without buying at least to keep it as a memory of lifetime.
The best time to visit is from October to February month. Definitely, rush will be there but at the end of the day you will enjoy and will say that its a must visit place once you explore it.This gallery is very famous among tourists as well which can be witnessed through their presence. 80% of the visitors to this gallery are foreigners and there is 98% buy out.
- Thank You! We appreciate your effort.
