Some time ago I flew from Beijing to Moscow on an Aeroflot flight. A day before departure I tried to register on the company’s website. Registration was refused without explanation. I called the company. They told me over the phone that online check-in from Beijing was not possible and suggested that I check in at the airport. To get a good seat, I arrived at the airport more than two hours before my flight. However, it turned out that all the good places were already taken! There was one seat left for me in the middle of the row near the toilet. I don’t understand why they deceived me over the phone? How can you even treat customers-passengers like this?! I will try not to fly with this company again! If you have the opportunity, I recommend flying with other airlines!

When my dad passed away, he wanted to be buried in his home city - Saint-Petersburg.


After consultation with Aeroflot and Russian Embassy, we understood that in order to travel with a funeral urn, we need to collect, translate and legalize a few documents. After collecting the documents(4 days of hard all day long work and an approximate cost of 150 Euro), we consulted with them once again and they told us, that with these documents we would be able to travel with the urn with Aeroflot without any problems. So, I bought a two-way ticket Sofia- Moscow(576.43 BGN) - Moscow-Saint-Petersburg(5954 RUB).


When I arrived at Sheremetievo airport on 11.12.2019 at around 18:00, I asked once again the representatives of Aeroflot, if I can travel further and is everything all right. They told me that all the documents are correct and I can travel with the urn further. On 12.12.2019 I arrived at Vnukovo airport. At the registration desk, the representative of Aeroflot/Russian airlines told me, that I am not allowed to travel with the urn and that is company policy. I told her, that I collected all the required documents and that I traveled from Sofia to Moscow with Aeroflot and with a funeral urn in my luggage. She looked at me and had nothing to tell. After a few minutes of thinking hard, she told that I should speak with higher-level representatives and I went to their desk. They didn't know the company policy at all, so they called someone else. After a 10 minute call, they told me, that I can transport the urn with cargo but not on the plane, but if I do so, I will miss the plane, so the best I can do is to buy a ticket for their next flight. "Are you kidding?!"- I said. "Well, this is the only thing, that you can do - to travel with our next flight. Otherwise, you would have to travel with another company". "So, what about the money, that I paid and the fake information, that your colleagues gave me?". "We can't do anything right now. It's your problem."


So I had to buy another ticket which cost another 4000 rubs and after waiting 12 hours in the airport, I traveled with Utair company without any further problems but unfortunately, this isn't the end of the story.


The day before my flight back from Saint Petersburg to Moscow, I received an e-mail, that I can make a registration and choose a seat for the flight. I made the registration and arrived on the registration desk in order to receive my boarding pass. They gave me a pass and I went to the gate. 2 minutes before boarding, a representative of Aeroflot came to me and said that I must come with him to the pay desk because there are issues with my ticket. I was amazed and desperate. The woman on the pay desk said that my ticket is invalid and I should buy a new ticket in order to travel. "What?! I have a two-way ticket!"-I said. "No, your ticket is not valid, because you missed your previous flight, but you can buy a new ticket from us right now". I told them the whole story about the funeral of my dad and all the problems I had. "So, the colleagues in Moscow didn't tell you that when you missed the first-way flight, we cancel also the return flight? Well, we are not responsible for their mistakes, so it is not our problem. The only thing, that we can offer you, is to buy a ticket for the next flight, which is after one hour." I can’t describe how angry I was at that moment. I told them that I want to speak with a manager, however, they told me that there are no managers at the airport, just the dispatcher. She was very cold and in her eyes, I saw, that she doesn't care at all. For all these people, I was just someone very annoying and unusual, someone, that troubled their everyday workday and all of Aeroflot representatives, they didn't even care about being polite and being Humans. I had no choice but to buy another ticket for 5000 RUB with S7 company. I must say that the customer service provided by S7 was completely different and very professional!


Not only I was provided with false information - I was literally in a situation in which I had no way to go home if I don’t pay additionally which wasn’t mentioned anywhere until the very moment of the flight. It almost seems that they made sure that I wouldn’t have time to react, cancel the flights or do anything. Not showing any compassion or at least basic human understanding is a sign of bad manners but taking such advantage from someone who just lost a member of their family is disusing.

This airlines company is a big JOKE, yes I really meant it. We are a group of 4 ppl 1 senior, 2 adults and 1 infant flew from Helsinki to Hanoi via Moscow on 10 Nov. A ground staff(female) at the boarding gate(nro. 5) seems really enjoy to yelling at her customers. Perhaps this is what they call customer service at USSR time. We are 4 persons and have 3 checked bags, 1 small personal bag and 4 tax free bag(1 of them was purchased at Moscow airport), but the staff think that infant have no rights to carry bag base on their rules(that I have nerver heard before this), so we have to leave 1 of the tax free bag at the Moscow airport. Food is another disaster on this fly, to be honestly we could not eat anything on the fly, luckily the attendant was kind enough to give our child some milk on that 11 hours fly. We chose Aeroflot not because of cheap, but because of it has fastest fly from Helsinki to Hanoi, with the same money we could fly with more realiable company. Nerver again with Aeroflot, those who would avoid extra problem, specially travelling with senior people or infant, please stay a way from this DISASTER airline company.

Items stolen for check-in luggage

I flew Aeroflot from JFK to Delhi on Nov 26, 2019 with connecting flight in Moscow. It was my first time using Aeroflot and it will most definitely be my last. Right from the rude staff at check-in counter to rude flight attendants, everything is bad with this airline. After getting home I realized that one of the zippers from my luggage was off the tracks while the lock was still on the the other zipper (it could be open without requiring a key at this point). I didn’t think much of it and thought it might have happened while I was dragging my luggage from cab to the house. However, that was not the case I realized when I opened my luggage. There was an expensive bottle of cologne in my luggage - the box was still there but the bottle was no longer there. It’s sad that airline employees steal stuff out of passenger luggage. Makes the entire airline look bad. I wish these always an option to give zero star rating for this experience.

Hello friend myself sawan molwa and today I am. Sharing my personal experience with Aeroflot me and my friend akash both went for a trip to russia for fifa world cup 2018 now today I am sharing my pathentic experience with this airlines


Check -in - counter - we dont have so much lagguage with us but at check in counter their is a laddy who have overweighted lagguage and the people sitting in the counter bargening for extra charges according to situations they are changing extra lagguage this is a worst thing I observe their no proper system


Staff- the staff in the plane is mannerless like is a weight over them they are not listening prolerly to passangers once I ask an cooldrink she bring to me at that time by kniwliny he throug it in my shoulder silently he went from their I did not create any violence their but yes they are unrealistic


Seating space - the airline is very small compare to others and its very dirty no hygen is menaged their


Puntuity - ohh dontvask my take was as3 pm but without informing they shifted it to 4 pm I don't know why


I will never use tgis airlines again and also I suggest you be carefull to use this

When we see the cost and services provided such as chek in, crew menbers, and food offerd, also punctuality e can see that Aeroflot is he best in my opinion

Recently made a trip to Russia for the FIFA World Cup 2018. Our tickets were booked in your airlines ie Aeroflot airlines from Moscow ie Sheremetyevo International Airport to Delhi ie Indira Gandhi International Airport on 18th June 2018. The flight was scheduled to depart at 7.05 PM on 18th of June 2018.


We had done the boarding and security check-in by 5.00 PM and were waiting for the gates to be open. Once the gates were open due to rush we had to wait in the lounge and we reached the gates when the attendant announced the final call. The attendant named Michael was doing something on the computer and was not letting us in saying that the bus has left the place. The bus was staying in front of us and he was not letting us in. He asked us to walk out and closed the gate saying that we are late by 1 minute.


We were asked to walk out through the exit door and were not told what to do next. We approached the Aeroflot office in the Airport and we faced very rude behavior from the lady with black hair who was in duty on 18th June 2018 in between 20.00 pm – 22.00pm. This lady was also rude at the FIFA volunteers and even they have registered a complaint against her to their senior officials.


We took the help of the FIFA volunteers and with their help, we had a talk with the deputy manager of the airport and received the baggage which was loaded in the aircraft, from there we came to know that our loaded baggage was offloaded from the aircraft and the aircraft departed after 19.30 PM.


We were asked to book another ticket and the reason provided for the same was that we were late by 1 Minute which was totally absurd as we were there at the boarding gates at the final call. We had connecting flights from Delhi and all the bookings were canceled and we had to rebook another flight via Dubai to Cochin with a layover of 6 hours that too without the meal.


I had to spend additional money for the lodging, ticket from Moscow to Cochin and from there to Bengaluru and even for the food, just because of the rough attitude and EGO of the gate attendant named Michael towards the foreigners.

Had a very bad situation but the way they handled it was even worse!


My first flight was to Moscow and second from Moscow to NYC. I had a boarding pass and when I was dropping off my bad they advised me to go talk to the airline representative. They informed that my flight to NYC will be cancelled and they could not book me a flight to another city(I guess it was just more expensive) and that the next available flight will be in 3 days! They did not let me board the plane and to my surprise I found out it was a lie. My flight from Moscow departed on time but they didn't even let me get there! Another lie- I was able to find a flight for the next day. After all that horrible experience I got to Moscow the next day and suggested the airline representative to put in in business class as a compensation for what happened but they rejected that and said "send an email to our complain department".(They don't even have a phone number to call about your issues!) One month later I received an email from that that will give me a voucher for$400 to use during the year. but. in order to get it they want me to fly to NYC in person to pick it up!(I live in Denver, CO) That was the most ridiculous customer service I have ever experienced in my life. I would try to avoid them if I could. They monopolized everything in Russia that is why they act like that and don't care about their customers!

I could not help to write about an excellent experience my mom has with the Aeroflot yesterday. My mom was visiting me in the States and it was her time to go back home to Russia. I was worried about her travel because she does not speak English and long layover time. Today, when my mom arrived home, I called her and was shocked in a good way with her amazing experience of the entire flight.


She was assisted by the LA airport's staff and taken on the wheelchair exactly to the Aeroflot gate. Upon arriving to Moscow, she was met by a Sheremetevo airport's staff again who took her to a waiting room on the wheelchair again. The layover time was more than six hours and I was afraid that my mom would be very tired and even fall asleep and miss her flight to the home town. How wonderful I felt by knowing that my mom spent the entire time at a clean and very comfortable waiting room where she could rest until her next flight.


My mom said the staff was extremely professional, polite, nice, and showed that the passengers' comfort and safety were their number one priority.


I want to thank Aeroflot for making those great changes and keeping our Russian airlines at the high level!

I traveled on 10/11/17. I was not lucky because I had a huge man next to my seat 9D. His left arm and shoulder were pushing me constantly toward the other side of my seat; I was very uncomfortable.


I moved to one of the free seats of row 8(exit door's row) were 4 of the 6 seats were free. A crew attendant came immediately and ordered me to move back to my assigned seat because all seats of row 8 were already taken. Lie, we were already flying for more than half hour!


I explained the reason of my change and I asked for another seat. The only one available was in the last row where seats don't recline and are uncomfortable. I expressed my disappointment, but it didn't change their attitude, justifying it with Aeroflot policy. I also offered to pay for the change with no result.


This is not absolutely an airline to be compared with other European and American airlines.

staff is very rood there are all is very roodly behaviar in the aeroloft.


seating space also very small and not comfirtable seat for anyone .

I had to travel from Delhi to Banglore last Sunday. Most flights were booked and only Aeroflot were available. The price was quite expensive and it was 12000 for one side for one person. After travelling, I would like to point out why flying with these people is not good.


1) Check-In Counter


Even at a big airport like Delhi, only one person sits at the Aeroflot checkil-in counter. And if you have some quieres, chances are, that like me, you will have to wait for quite a while to do so. Also, the person there, in my case, was very slow to find the answers to my queries.


2) Staff


The staff on the plane is okay, they are reluctant to help you, but do the job unwillingly.


3) Seating Space


Okay so this is one thing that is really behind in time. The airplane is really really small and quite cramped. The seats are quite dirty and there is grease present on most parts of the seat.


4) Punctuality


Well, things were okay when I got on the flight, but while landing, there were some technical problems in the door of the plane. The passengers were not exactly told what it was, but they said it was something realated to the door not opening.


So all in all, if a malfuntion happened when we landed, one could have happened when we were in the air, and that could have been deadly. So all in all, I don't trust these people. Yes their flights are bad, but over all, you should not jeopardise your safety.


Don't go with Aeroflot please.

Aeroflot is a russian airline which is headquartered in Moscow, Russia. Aeroflot is Russia's one of the biggest airlines.


I have personally travelled from this airline from india to moscow in August 2015. The airline is quite comfortable in economic as well as business class. The economic class serves good food and drinks. The price for Delhi to moscow is roughly around 22, 000 rs( approx 360 USD)


Some special points to note-


1.The Aeroflot is one of the oldest commercial airlines in the world having its history and origin in the year 1923

Hey guys! Today I want to share my view on aeroflot. I booked 5 tickets for my family of russia. But the price was little bit high as compared to other airline service providers. This flight was 6 hours late . Atlast when we entered in the plane, we were hungry but service inside the plane was not good. On the total time of flight, air hostess came only 1 time with some snacks.


That was very disappointing . So guys I suggest you to book other service providers rather than this.

In this flight in economy class you don't receive any type of entertainment way.


No LCD screens and no music system


You have not any charging options for mobile phone and other devices


Aeroflot have a plus point you can carry in this flight 23-23 to luggage bages and 10 kg hand bag


You also carry your laptop bag


Aeroflot airline flight ticket are cheaper than others compare airlines


Aeroflot airline air hostess are really good and they provide us a good flight

I use aeroflot 1 time but my experiance was very very good. from delhi to moscow I was travelled in this flight. the most important thing is it is not very expensive and you can take luggage more than 50 kg in this flight it is best. and in this flight you can sleep very good and food it very tasty. crew in very good in this flight they understand your language so you not have to worry about money. and in moscow also everything is very very cheap and people is very very good. you try this airline. happy journey

I flew in Aeroflot from Delhi to Moscow and then from Moscow to Kiev. I would say it is a pretty good airline as compared to other low cost carriers.


I bought my ticket for Rs 22000 ( approx. $350) for Economy Class which includes food and drinks on plane also. A good thing is that you get free baggage upto 46 kgs ( 2pcs of 23kg each) which other carriers have failed to provide in Economy class tickets.


Inflight entertainment is also very good. They have a good collection of movies and ither shows. Besides that you can use there onboard wifi also which at my time I didn't think so that it was working.


The main attraction was food - very tasty, hygenic, and good presentation with drinks offered.


Seats were also very comfortable.


Atlast, its a good airline.


But now it has stopped its services in Ukraine .


But you can get flights till Moscow though.

I traveled from India to Russia by Aeroflot.It was the second time when I traveled by flight . But I was very excited because its my first international flight of my life.I want to enjoy every moment.But alas!


The service of Aeroflot is very bad.We traveled for seven hours.But received nothing to eat.Their was only one time air hosts were came for giving some snacks but unfortunately they did not have anything in veg.


We felt hungry.And complete seven hours we have eaten only one glass of juice.We had the connected flight from the India to Russia.First of all our flight take off late from Delhi. And obviously reached late.And when we reached Moscow we saw our next Flight was also late for 8 hours.And that was also of Aeroflot.We were very disappointed because we felt very tired at that time.So please book your flight by watching everything mainly comfort.


At that time we decided to never take risk of Aeroflot.
