I got this policy as mom and dad are over 80. With my mother, she had a left knee replacement that we declared in our application, over 5 years before the policy inception date. They did not put any remarks that osteo-arthritis is the pre-existing disease(PED) section. when they issued the policy. Also their policy clearly states that pre-existing disease is defined as one that is diagnosed up to 48 months prior to policy inception. Hence by their definition this osteo-arthritis is not PED. After 2 and half years on the policy, she developed pain in the right knee and doctor advised knee replacement which she had done. Aditya Birla did not honor the cashless payment so we had to scramble to get the cash out for payment to hospital. Also, once surgery was completed and we filed claims, they rejected on grounds of PED. The other utterly shameless thing they did is issue a new disclosure after the surgery unilaterally declaring that osteo-arthiritis was now a PED on my mothers policy. This is totally against their own definition of PED. We have appealed and filed a complaint. We even visited the IRDAi but they mereley suggested to file a complaint with the insurance agency. But we will not be renewing with such cheats, the staff and this company' management is spoiling the good name of Birla family.

Worst company, do not stick to their words, every year they increase the premium giving medicine cost inflation reason whereas there is no inflation in medical during last 3 years.
They take advantage of the existing policy PED condition and in short blackmail and force customer to renew the policy with increased premium which usually is increased by 40% every year.
Really worst company.

I was applied portability in Aditya Birla.Policy was issued.Before start the policy date I was admitted in hospital due to low hemoglobin which was claimed in my existing policy.i was inform to Aditya Birla as advised by advisor.And Aditya Birla was cancelled my issued policy.Reason for cancellation was anemia.I was surprised without any information or call or mesg they directly send policy cancellation letter at my home.Luckly my existing policy grace period is available.i was immediately renewal my policy with the existing company.I was called to advisor for refund.They are told me refund process is 15 days.Sonif company provide policy they need immediate payment after that policy issued.When people request to refund that time they require 15 working days.Really very bad experience with the Aditya Birla.They are froud.I never suggest to any one for go with Aditya Birla.if before issuing policy they are needed such kind of days than God knows what is the process of rehumbrsment and cash less process.Thnak God before go with Aditya Birla my policy was cancelled by the Aditya Birla.
I had very bad experience during my renewal process. I have about to call customer service and enquire on increase in premium for every year but there is no customer support in Tamil or Telegu. I was very much confused why the premium has been increased, after trying to communicate with them(Obviously failed), every time they will talk to me in hindi and they will say "we will call back to you in tamil" later there won't be any call back. now I am wondering if in case of any issue regarding claim, I am not sure how they will support me . I won't suggest any people to buy this Aditya Brila insurance. They only need our money, they are not concerned to give customer service in tamil or in telugu.
Better avoid this Adity Brila Insurance and get insurance who have service advisor in your local language and a office near by your place, so in case of any issue you can visit directly.
I recently raised a reimbursement claim from Aditya birla and they processed it in a month but several deductions were made like prolonged stay and other things but when I raised a reconsideration request with proper justification letter and even the blood report they refused to consider it (in a polite manner i.e. simply not responding or saying like backend team is saying we will standup on the decision) lol
and even after so many calls and mails they still refuse to clear on what those terms and conditions are on which they deducted prolonged stay amount, frequently call disconnected and no response on email this is just the example of bad service, I hope to at least get the proper justification for my deduction
Took a huge health insurance policy last year. Did not took any claim thanks to god! Now it's time for renewal and I am seeing a huge increament in policy premium which is about 9000. Last year cost was 21000 now I have to pay 31000 just to get it renewed. I understand that the increament is common but what not common is having seeing this huge amount within first year. Whats the gurentee it not going to get up next year? At this rate I have to pay 50000 next year. This is a big mistake. do not take any health policy from Aditya Birla. I will make sure to check reviews before taking policy. This was a big mistake trusting
Never ever buy any product from Aditya Birla, I have Health Insurance Policy Diamond plan from ABCHL. Been 4 months, called them 100 times, spent 250 hours on call with Customer care, they just harass and torture Insureds. Their surveyor asked me if my 4 and half year old consumes Ciggarattes or Alchol. disgusting, finally they paid me 40% of all the cost citing reason that this surgery costs only 12K. I asked them where and which hospital, they dont have answer. I request all of the victims of ABCHL that please reach out to Insurance Ombudsman or Consumer Court, we are Citizens of this Nation, we should fight against corrupt Corporates and if required ask regulatory bodies to revoke their license.
Guys stay away from this insurance I had a hospitalization they initilally gave me approval from hospitalisation then they denied it when I went to reimbursment they are not settling my hospitilisation bill as per my policy the worst customer care who dont know what they are doing and the worst management they never want to give the money for hospitalisation
Where do I even begin with AB Health Insurance? This company has been an absolute nightmare from the moment I signed up 2nd year for their services. I can confidently say that it is hands down the worst health insurance provider I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with.
Poor Customer Service: Dealing with AB Health Insurance's customer service is like talking to a brick wall. Their representatives are utterly unhelpful and seem to lack any basic understanding of how health insurance works. Whenever I had a question or concern, simply provide vague and unhelpful responses. It's as if they intentionally try to frustrate their customers and deter them from seeking the assistance they need.
In conclusion, AB Health Insurance is a complete disaster of a company. Their inadequate coverage, abysmal customer service, billing nightmares, denied Health Assessment, and lack of transparency make them a company to avoid at all costs. Save yourself the headache and find a reputable health insurance provider that actually cares about its customers.
Agents are just trying to achieve their targets by fooling their customers for sale of their targets.
Also took a Personal accident policy premium cheque from me and after issuing the cheque agent is saying premium has been increased that too after 15-18 days.after issuing the cheque.

My first claim settled in my account within 15 days .i just send my reimbursement documents and after 15 days I got message of amount credited.

A fraud and scam insurance company! They sell top-up health insurance plans piggybacking on HDFC ERGO base plans, then reject claims citing false reasons. Our base policy claim was processed smoothly without any hassles, but Aditya Birla Capital Health Insurance top-up rejected the claim which is a continuation of the same treatment for which the base policy claim was passed. ABC is peddling lies and giving false reason for the claim rejection!
Can we go to the police and lodge a complain of fraud in this case? Any legal experts here who can help please?
After much promise, my claim was rejected on baseless grounds! Its a top up plan while the base plan has smoothly passed all my claims, AB rejected the top up claim!

Worst service. Even employees can't higher officials for any claim or any changes. The claim settlement is very pathetic. Definitely don't or never recommend Aditya Birla health insurance. This is for your kind information.
They are fraud and cheat. I submitted mediclaim for clearly mentioned blood disorder in discharge summary and in their rejection letter they even changed the name of diagnosed disease. And this happened in corporate plan which has no conditions. Now fighting a case against this cheat company.
My husband is hospitalised for surgery i have taken there policy in 2021 they have raised the request for cashless benifit i have came to know that they have mention only the middle name in the insured person name. When I first taken the policy all details were correct but there back end team has changed the name without any consent.
I have been calling there customer support no 18002707000 for help but they keep on telling you the same think without any resolution. Its totally a harassment for anyone in this suitation . After sharing all the required original documents still there team is not doing anything.
We have also visited the branch office in nagpur they also say they not have any authority and keep on sending the mail..don't know where.
Im writting this so tht middle class people like us go and waste money. Please choose for something which is worth the help. Also check the reviews before you opt of any service.

I have taken diamond plan of Aditya Birla health insurance. I sent a small claim with complete documents. For some days it appeared on the app called Active health, then after four to five days it disappeared like a horn from a donkey's head. Neither any phone nor any email nor any SMS of claim reject. I would like to suggest everyone that while taking health policy, do not go on tempting promises and use your mind. Do not choose aditya birla capital health insurance at all.
