Aakash:The Name You Can Trust
Surely, The name has its unique identity when it comes Preparation for PMTs or Engineering Entrance Exams. I have experimented a lot on this inst. regarding PMTs preparations. I had been a student of this inst. both DLP (Distance Learning Programme) during my 11th & 12th and 1 year regular course after passing my +2 exam. Now I am belonging to a reputed Medical College in Odisha.
Below are the experiences which I came across during my preparation in Aakash.
- EXPERIENCE DURING ONE YEAR REGULAR COURSE FOR MEDICAL
I joined this inst. immediately I passed my +2 without any 2nd alternative inst. in mind as some of my seniors from my college qualified IIT, NIT, AIPMT and other state level entrance exams & with very good ranks. Finally I joined & was very anxious to come across the teaching methodologies. I was surprised how smoothly the lectures were going on.
Really very effective and helpful even for a student who does not have a clear base in studies. The schedules at the same time are prepared in such a way that a student gets enough time everyday to 1. Clear Fundamentals, 2. Clear Concepts & most importantly 3. Practice Objectives. Teaching methodology may vary from lecture to lecture but overall student friendly.
I have noticed some institutes have their study schedules which is very confusing, not in a sequence which overloads student mind & student's only goal becomes to complete today's schedule anyhow missing concepts and so on. Thank God here in Aakash no such situations arise.
Lectures always motivate students here. No one can feel Zero Confidence here only if he is regular in studies. Doubt Clearance is very much effective but I think here in Aakash this section of learning is little defective because all students don't get all their doubts cleared because of lack of time. Obviously when there are huge students, this problem is very common.
I hope the institute shall pay attention to this segment and solve it.
Talking abou daily tests, they are only to remind students to be regular, practice questions, time management etc. Approx upto 30% of daily test questions will appear in main PMTs like AIPMT. AIATS is the exact photocopy of AIPMT. For me nearly about 70-75% questions of AIPMT were directly or indirectly based on it. The students learns a lot from AIATS.
- EXPERIENCE DURING DLP
One thing I missed in my first Experience during Regular couse which I want to mention here is that Study Material. Truly speaking the Study Materials of both DLP & Regular Course of Aakash are really Great. It is surely very huge but too informative, NCERT based, contains PMT standard questions (80-90% are PMT based). The most positive fact about the study Material is that one can easily clear AIPMT or AIIMS only by self study of these materials.
Though one can not get all questions for AIPMT & AIIMS in question section of Material but almost 90-100% of questions of AIPMT can be easily solved if the student has gone through each and every corner of the material's theory section (much time is required for this kind of study:only during self study). Talking about AIIMS one has to refer other books along with these books as AIIMS requires some extra knowledge. Overall Study Materials provided by Aakash are the Best.
Finally coming to drawbacks of this inst. I would say the employees must learn how to treat a student and his/ her parents. They must learn the basic manners how to respond one. Very irresponsible employees are there who I think hate to answer a question when asked to them. One answer comes as output after you repeted one question for 10 times. You can not directly mention your problem to them. They may reject your problem or accept it according what they wish.
As the student no. is increasing they are becoming more irresponsible. This has become their habit to insult student or parent in every word. They don't care not anyone but care whom they wish. This was I talked the situation of Bhubaneswar centre which I physically suffered from. Same time Delhi employees are very good and humble because I many times talked to them through phone but dont know how they are in physical treatment. My request to the institute's chairman please consider this problem.
We students are the backbone of your institute, If we would not be there, your institute is of zero importance to your business. But it's great that we both are benefited by each other. No one can exist without other. So tell me if you are dissatisfying even a single student in a state you are losing 28 students all over India. Which is not a good sign for a well known and reputed institute like Aakash. So teach the employees the fundamental mannerisms.
Thanks all!
Overall AAKASH IS THE BEST!
