Good service

Very polite and good behaviour by the worker. On time pickup and it reaches destination on time. Loved the service

ANZ person ran away with advance money.
May 28, 2019 12:04 PM 2058 Views (via Mobile)

Hello,

This is Pradeep and I have been cheated by ANZ packers & movers Bangalore staffs Mr. John & Fayum Kasab.

I have requested packers & movers service to move my items from Bangalore to Trivandrum. I have received a quotation from ANZ staff (Mr. John, Mob:- 91087 73773 & +91 96632 59999) for Rs.20500. The agreement was to pay 50% as advance and balance after delivery at Trivandrum. I have paid 10000 in cash to Mr. John on 14th and the same has been mentioned on the ANZ quotation. It was mutually agreed to finish the packing & loading on 19th and delivery at Trivandrum on 21st.

On last Sunday 19th of May 2019, AnZ packing staffs came to my apartment and started packing at around 11 AM. The packing was completed by night around 8 PM and the items were loaded onto your truck. Mr. Fayum Kasab (Mob:- +91 76760 39912) was the person coordinated all the packing & transportation. An itemized receipt was also given before leaving my premises. Everything was going well as committed to this point.

After that, there was no response from ANZ staff Mr. John who took the money from me. There was no other way for me to track the package as ANZ office numbers were also not working. Eventually, i received a WhatsApp message from Mr. John on 20th saying his Brother is hospitalized and hence he is out of work. He suggested contacting your other staff Mr. Fayum to know the details of my package transportation.

After contacting Mr. Fayum, he conveyed a very surprising shocking message to me that; my goods are kept on hold at ANZ Bangalore Nagawara depot. The reason was more shocking; the advance I have given to Mr. John has not yet reached to the AnZ office. Hence the ANZ transport team conveyed that they will not move the materials.

I was devastated by this information and tried to call John, Faheem and other number mentioned on the calls. There was no response. I was dead stuck as my goods are not yet even started and my advance money given to Mr. John was gone. Mr. John later sent a WhatsApp message conveying that he has to leave with my money since ANZ has not given him his salary !!!

Since my goods were not delivered as promised on 21st, I was forced to stay in a hotel for a couple of days. Then after a very long struggle, I eventually have to pay more money again (Rs 23k+GST) to ANZ Transport person Mr. Raju from Sree Bhagya Lakshmi transport (Mob:- +91 93418 47086 & +91 90197 97575) to transport my goods. The goods eventually got delivered at my place on 22nd late at night. There was no person arrived from ANZ for unloading & re-assembling the goods. Eventually, i have to pay another 20k for unloading and fitting.

Appreciate a proper investigation and response. Attaching the quotation & itemized bills given by ANZ. Also attaching the WhatsApp chat with Mr. John. I also have telephone conversation recorded which can be shared if needed.

Regards,

Pradeep

Petty thieves running a movers and packers
Sep 19, 2013 03:33 PM 5044 Views

I still regret the day I called up these people to shift my house(Bangalore). I had called up these people based on recommendation from one of their ex-employees who I had met near my new house.

While they presented a very professional face initially, they quoted almost 50% more than the quotation by other packers and movers. When I asked them, they repeatedly assured me that they would take good care of my items during shifting and I will be their customer forever. I agreed because I wanted to go with a reputed company and also knew that not many people are interested in shifting to second floor without lift.

On the day of shifting, they again showed a very nice image. Neatly dressed people, sufficient number of plastic cartons, good packaging materials, etc. They quickly packed everything and brought it to new house. At that point, I realized that they had wrongly estimated bigger size truck(and that's another reason to ask for more charges).

After reaching here, the staff started complaining about lack of lift. When I told them that due to lack of lift I had agreed to pay more, they started complaining even more.

After shifting the boxes and quickly unpacking, I noticed that the truck still had 2-3 boxes. When I asked their Driver-cum-Supervisor, he told me that these are empty boxes(and also showed me one of the empty boxes).

As most of you must be familiar, when you shift to a new house, for first few days, you really struggle to find items(and slowly discover them over a period of 1-2 months). Around a month later, we realized that one small, emergency gas stove(stove and small cylinder) and some vessels were missing. We thoroughly checked the house but couldn't find the items anywhere.

When I called up their office, the lady who was very professional during our first interaction turned hostile and started blaming me. She said that she had never heard of people complaining after 1-2 months of shifting. I was shocked but still sent them a mail asking them to investigate. Despite several follow ups, these people kept denying any wrongdoing from their side.

I have decided not to follow up any further. I could have gone ahead and filed a case against these people but the problem is that we didn't document a detailed inventory prior to shifting(no one suspects packers and movers to be tricksters and frauds, that they will cheat you right in front of your eyes).

Stay away from these people as these people are petty thieves. They will not even acknowledge any mistake and will overcharge you.

At your own Risk!

My recent experience with ANZ movers has been easily the worst move I have ever done in the past 20 years of moving within India and abroad.  I will tell my story as is - you can draw your own conclusion.  However if you do not have the patience to read my entire rendition of past events, here it is in short: Use ANZ Movers ONLY If you have 10 page checklist on every little aspect of moving & packing.  If you want workers with no real background in moving and want to tell them to the number of sheets used to pack a particular glass then you should call them, If thats not what you are looking for in a mover and packer - I suggest you look else where.

When I contacted ANZ Packers & Movers I was in a rush and had few days left as options for move dates. As all my dates were only Saturday and Sunday, which limited my choices to this one out of 10 that I called.  Over several phone calls we agreed on the price and dates.  It was to happen on a Saturday at 10 AM. It did not happen on Saturday.. after multiple calls of plea they finally agreed on Sunday at 1PM.  I mentioned at that point that I have flight to catch Sunday afternoon but I was reassured that they would be there by 1pm and it wouldn't take longer than two hours. Sunday 1PM - NO Show, They were wrapping up somewhere else they needed half an hour more. No problem I said.  Few phone calls later they arrived at 3:30 PM!!! I had to leave home by 5:30 for my flight which I had repeatedly reminded them of. I had two friends who came over to ensure I can got my flight while the finishing packing.  Oh you should check out their website about the amazing packing material that they use.... when I got shocked on how they were putting my kitchenware in to the boxes without any protection they said they didn't have paper-packing material.  The agent would have told me that I would require my own newspaper....!!! So with little time left to argue I found newspaper so they can wrap fragile items. They did however have bubble wrap which they used sparingly. I barely made my flight as my goods went into storage.  Before that, the agent and I had a chat about insurance where she gave me two options. Coverage for 50, 000 or 1 Lakh.  I opted for 50, 000 and she promptly added % onto my final bill. Alas if my glasses show up broken due to the packing skills I can at least claim insurance since the packers were not thrilled with me giving instruction on putting at least 2 folds of paper between glassware.

One month later I wrote to them about extending another month in storage.  They told me to hold off payment till the final delivery.

I wrote to them about final delivery. Here is where I made my mistake. Dates I put I thought were sat & sunday however thursday and friday got chosen.  When she wrote back about my shipment on its way - I requested that they be delivered on Saturday and not friday.  There was firm no.  So waited to hear about my delivery.  Keys were being given on Saturday but if they call me a day earlier i'd be ok.  They call me on thursday at 10PM and tell me they are coming the next morning!! To which I was shocked and called the agent.  She (will deny her temper) but adamant about her email. To which I had mentioned that if there was at least some intimation during normal hours I could have arranged for something but how is 10 PM the night before 1 day notice?  After grueling arguments and back forward her manager (i assume) stepped in spoke to the delivery people with some additional amount added on they accepted Saturday morning 10 am as delivery time.  Saturday morning 10...10:30  ...11 AM came around. I called the delivery person who relayed to me that they won't be delivering today and maybe tomorrow. I called the agent they couldn't help. I got other numbers to call and they hand me on a run-around. So I waited another day. Sunday mostly went and after many calls later they arrived just after 4 PM.  The truck was not of ANZ Packers and Movers!! It was third party which had not been mentioned AT ALL!!  There was no supervisor.  There was not one to check the items being delivered and to my horror no unpacking.  My expectation is not that they would place every item in place however its always be - if they diss-assemble something to pack - then they have to re-assemble it back.  Alas I was told no. There was a call back to agent and heated dispute where I kept getting smacked for raising my voice but not that it mattered that they were.  Nor did matter that they hung up on me.

On the delivery notice I signed what I thought I had received and mentioned that as things were not unpacked I am not able to comment on the condition of all the good delivered.  Pieces of my bed were missing that they had disassembled and my mirror was cracked.  I wrote to them about this and they asked me to finish unpacking and get back to them. While unpacking I noticed that the Headboard and footboard of the bed were missing.  They wrote back that it was impossible and that they don't cover wood or glass under insurance.  I wrote back saying they could check with the delivery folks that the pieces I am referring to were not there ( I mentioned I don't care for the insurance if they could just check where my missing items were and have them delivered) and that I was never informed about wood and glass not being covered (what moving company can run with such an insurance policy!!!!)

Since that last email they have not responded. It has now been 13 days.  So instead of stressing myself over all this - I am posting this review for others to see.  Please do look elsewhere for your moving and packing needs.

Do not deliver as per promise - even at high cost
Mar 04, 2013 02:13 PM 5003 Views

Had a bad experience. They just dumped the stuff at the destination. BTW, I had a signed a contract saying that unloading and unpacking included. I could not even judge if things were broken.

There staff especially somebody called Akram is only interested about telling you that he has worked over 10 years and wants to put all the blame on you. I had a second lot of stuff to send and decided to pick up a different vendor. Be aware there services are not cheap.

But the quality and customer handling, especially the guy I dealt with was horrible.

ANZ is farud and cheater
Feb 16, 2013 02:41 PM 5347 Views

One year back, I stored my household items at their ware house as I was going abroad. Once I came back and requested them for delivering my goods they gave their preferred date. But they never confirmed that through any mail or sms. Finally on the day they didn't turned up. I had to go their office and and had to literally fight with them to make the delivery on the date.

I actually wasted a day taking leave from my office. They really don't care about that. But they delivered nearly half of my goods in miserable condition. After 3 weeks from that I have never received a single cal from their side about the delivery of rest of items. I call them almost every day to get any update. So far no luck. They destroyed almost all of my stuffs. They don;t care about delivering the goods but never forgot to ask me for the rental each and every month. As they have got all their dues they are not all bothered about delivering. They are real cheaters and a bunch of liars.

Do whatever you can do with your goods but don't call ANZ for their service if you don't want to be cheated.!!!

I availed the services of this company for shifting my luggage for a very short distance on 30th Dec 2011.. During shifting, they misbehaved to the greatest extent and threatened that they won't shift my steel almirah if I don't pay them something extra.. After settlement of this issue, they shifted the luggage and left their cartoons at my place saying they are getting too late to unload the cartoons.. I too agreed as, it was little tedious to unpack them all together.. for this they took Rs. 800 as deposit..

Now since 20 days I have made at least 100 calls to them asking for  my money back and to take off their cartoons, but now they are in no intention of returning my money back, as the cost of cartoons is far too less than the deposit..We have written on the feedback form about the deposit as a proof and lodged a complain too in consumer court..

Brilliant Service From ANZ; Very Professional!
Dec 26, 2011 12:00 PM 7466 Views

I had called upon the services of ANZ packers and movers for shifting from RT Nagar, Bangalore to JP Nagar Bangalore.

The service was extremely satisfactory. They sent a supervisor, a driver and 4 other staff (all in uniform) as promised and they were very very professional. They were meticulous and careful and very thorough in packing, moving, unloading and refitting.

There surveyor Mr. Manjunath was also very courteous and polite.

They had used bubble wraps and card board sheets generously.

I had a lot of furniture and breakable glass ware and all of them were well taken care of.

There was NO damages and NO items missing.

I am confused why there are bad reviews on this site about them. Guess sometimes things can go wrong in some way, but my experience with them was very satisfying.

Nithin Philip.

I had done the booking on 30th ep 2011. Wanted delivery on 10th Oct at Mumbai. On 10th they told me there are some issues because of which they would ensure the material reaches me on 15th. They did not despatch then also. They finally despatched and the material reached on 19th when I was not in Mumbai. I had told them I would not be available after 18th upto 30th.Took 30 days for reaching the material at Mumbai from Bangalore saying petty issues. From 19th to 31st they kept at Transporter godown of no fault of mine. Mumbai Transporter person was not giving material without payment of 1700. I was forced to pay this as ANZ Bangalore peronnel was not picking calls. When I was calling on their board no. also they were not picking. To know the fact that I paid 12.5 K for 10 Packets in advance. Ever to come across such a stupid and fleecing organization. They sould be sued.

It is shocking to find that these professional packers have such low standard.I had hired the Indiranagar branch at Bangalore. Everything was good till I received the materials. It was evident that they were careless,  extremely careless when they unloaded the goods at their yard and reloaded them onto another truck. Several crockeries and photo frames broke.

Machineries like fridge and washing machine got damaged. I  was so fortunate that the TV came intact! They encouraged me to insure the goods with them. But they did not respond to my claim.

These guys damage things at their yard. They reloaded the washing machine upside down. The machine came off its housing. It could not be repaired. They dragged the fridge on its legs and broke one leg. It cost  Rs 1524 to repair. They threw the packets on the ground. Glass materials broke. Someone wrenched out the accelerator  cable from the motorcycle.

They took money for insurance. Did not compensate anything.

I made a mistake by not consulting the web before trusting these cheats.

Worst packers and movers….I used the services of this company while moving goods within Bangalore and my experience with them was very bad. These guys charge a premium as compared to many other players, but their services are certainly not worth the amount of money paid.

Lots of breakages were observed - these included damages to a washing machine, chairs, crockery shelf, dinner sets (Brand New), etc.

These guys move very recklessly with the goods, don’t know HOW TO PACK !!?

I made the mistake of paying and providing positive feedback before inspecting my stuff properly. And, once this was done, these guys just wouldn’t listen when I talked to them about the damages they had caused. The sales person is a sweet-talker, he often quotes his superiors during discussions but always refuses for any escalations to be made to them !!

I called the A N Z packers and movers (indira nagar branch) for relocating household things within Bangalore city. Then I spoke to representative (Mr Lokesh) who gave a approximate quot. Representative asked me to send him a SMS (date and time) as a confirmation. All done.

Just a day before my scheduled packing, rep say that supposedly date cannot be possible. On top of that rep suggest me different schedule and ask me send SMS for confirmation. Hell with these guys.

Excellent professional services from ANZ packers
Nov 23, 2010 01:03 PM 6575 Views

After spending four eventful years in Kalyan nagar, now Chalojai and her family was ready to shift in Electronic city. Frankly speaking, I was really so worried about shifting all household items there........ after reading so many horrid stories about people's experiences. Moreover, the condition of my belongings were not good, after our absence for almost a year, all items were covered with dust and dirt. I was thinking of calling a relocating agency, and was searching for a suitable one in MS. One thing I noticed, most of them have many complaints against them, about professionalism, about quotations, and many more. Here I came to know about ANZ packers and movers who had the least number of complaints against them, and so many nice remarks they have bagged till now. We decided to contact them. They told they will visit the house by evening, but that day nobody could come because of heavy rain. Next day, the Chief Executive Mr. Jameel visited the house, and gave us a quite reasonable quotation. This person was very polite, understanding, and at the same time very efficient. He discussed all pros and cons, and also explained their mode of operation. We were satisfied, and next day confirmed the relocation order. They called us immediately, and the order was blocked. Next morning, the supervisor Mr. Rajeev came to verify the address around 9 am. The main task started at sharp 10 am. They were so punctually indeed. And the thing which I liked most, was the speed of their work. In no time they packed all our kitchen items in separate packing boxes which they brought, and after covering each box they wrote the names of articles in those boxes. It was quite convenient for all of us to identify that which item is going in which box. Next, they packed the fridge, washing machine, and other fragile items in bubble wrappers and moved carefully to their covered van. Clothes were packed in boxes, while the mattress and other bed items were tied with plastic chords and carried away. They asked us to carry our jeweleries and valuables items with us. The whole job was finished within.......... guess how much time did they take? Well, it was only ONE hour!!!!!!! Six of them, including a driver and a supervisor, packed our entire household items in such a short time, that was really incredible. They did not break a single item, didn't create any disturbance to our neighbors by shouting or throwing things here and there, kept the wastes after packing in one corner.Once they were done, there was no sign that sometimes back also some shifting work took place! Now that's called professionalism. We had to show them the way, so we also borded the same vehicle. The driver drove us very fast to the other end of the city, which took more than one hour. He was driving carefully so that the van doesn't jump, causing damages to the furnitures. Once we reached our new apartments, they started unloading the articles without wasting a single minute. One of them was unloading the goods, two of them carried those to stairs, one of them carried those up, and the last one arranged them in the flat. We offered help, but they humbly rejected. They were doing it very fast and within next one hour, our new house was all set. Everything was kept in its place, and no further supervision was required.Even they arranged our clothes in wardrobes and kitchen items in cabinets. Not a single item was misplaced, or broken, or damaged.I was more than happy. After doing this much work also hey did not ask for any extra amount, but it was our duty to appreciate them. The supervisor guy was very decent, and when the work was totally done, then only he asked for the payment, not before that. We are very happy with the service, and will recommend others also. And thanks MS, for saving us from unnecessary worries, and being victim of unprofessional packers.

Guys.,go for this Packers and Movers. No regrets..!
Sep 06, 2010 11:35 PM 6363 Views

After a stay for about 3 odd years Ive finally planned to come back to Hyderabad from Bangalore in second week of August 2010 and the first worry was about the luggage shift.Ive been through various websites for reviews and found a couple of them for ANZ to be interesting and ONE review which suggested not to go for.I want to try my luck this time and called these guys.Mr.Jameel was my initial contact and he processed the things by first visiting my place on one fine morning at around 10:00 AM.He updated me that he will come to my place at 10 and reached at 10:00.Perfect. After seeing the luggage he told me that there is a truck going to hyderabad on the same day and asked if they can pack and shift that day.I was little reluctant becos I never thought that will be possible for those guys to come to my place, pack and load them before evening. To my surprise the packers guys(5boys+1Supervisor) came, packed everything carefully and loaded in the truck.Everyone was professional in doing the things.I have done nothing except showing them what are the things to be packed.Everything was done by their boys. Now, the imp thing was whether my luggage reaches safely to hyd.The next day evening, a guy from Hyd calls up and says that the luggage has reached Hyd and will do the unload on next day morning. This was a real surprise to me as I never thought that it will reach in a day becos my friend has some worst experience with some other packers and movers of reaching the luggage in 15 days.To cut the story short, the next day the luggage was unloaded and with out ANY DAMAGE.!Good Job guys.!

Tips for people like me:1) Be there when the guys pack the things to guide them what to pack and what not to2) keep all your valuables in a bag and do not pack them3) pay some tip to the guys to come there based on their work. They will be happy.

Final word.i strongly recommend to go for ANZ.!

Reliable packers and movers
Jul 22, 2010 02:34 PM 6436 Views

Recently, we shifted our residence in Bangalore (5 km distance) through ANZ packers and movers. Initially, we were in a dilemma about which packers and movers to choose, since there were umpteen bad reviews about most of them. Finally, we settled on ANZ since their office was near-by and their executive Mr. Jameel convinced us based on his knowledge, their reasonable price and service guarantee. But we weren't still sure about the whole process! On the day of shifting, the staff (6 packers + 1 supervisor + 1 large truck) arrived on time and were quite quick/efficient/careful during packing and unloading of goods. However, our wooden book rack was scratched during the movement (our previous residence didn’t have a lift and the new residence was at the 4th floor); other than this, all other goods were moved correctly. The reason behind this was that they smartly separated the goods (showcase, utensils, electronics, big items, etc.) and used packaging material (bubble wrap, corrugated paper, etc.) generously.

Based on our experience, we highly recommend ANZ packers and movers.Few tips: Please supervise the staff while they are packing/moving. Be assertive in suggesting any requirements or changes. Please keep all your documents / valuables / keys ina single bag and take it to your residence by yourself. Please take any items that you need at the new residence like match-box, gas lighter, towel, knife, etc. Else, its difficult to search them in the boxes (although the supervisors the cartons) If you cannot return the cartons on the same day, you can pay a refundable deposit of Rs. 500/-. Based on your convenience, you can return the cartons at their Warehouse (open 24*7). Here, need to mention the cooperation and patience of Mr. Jameel who guided us even on Sunday early morning! Spare a thought for the staff who move your goods for almost one full day. Tip them based on work involved and your experience.

Decent enough
Feb 22, 2010 04:55 PM 6905 Views

I had to shift my belongings from near Manipal Hospital to Marathahalli (both in Bangalore, a distance of about 8 km). I called a number of packers and the estimates ranged from 4k to 20k (Leo Packers). The last time I had used Neo Packers who had smashed up my furniture while moving it from one flat to another in the same building , so wasn't looking forward to the shifting experience. I went through mouthshut and since all the Movers and Packers had been roundly abused, finally went with ANZ since they did seemed to have a lesser number of negative posts. In the event they didnt turn out to be too bad.

First, they were willing to come home to check out the furniture to be moved (so were most of the others, but not Agarwal Packers). Their quote was also a little lower than the other better known movers (Agarwal, Times et al). Also it helped that they had replied to a few of the criticisms posted about them online - seemed to signify that at least they were a little sensitive to public opinion!

The people managed by an executive called Jameel turned up on time, packing was more or less well organized, but there was no packing sheet - so it's a matter of good faith as to how many cartons were packed or delivered. The glassware/ fragile items were decently enough packed (though they used newspaper instead of confetti) and the material was transported in a covered/ locked truck.

Packing material was a little threadbare but they did use bubble wrap for washing machine/ fridge which most of the other packers I contacted were unwilling to use for an intra-city movement. Unpacking and reassembling was also brisk though they don't allow you to keep the cartons for a few extra days so that you can unpack at your leisure. Staff were polite enough (for movers/ packers you probably can't expect much better). One piece of wooden furniture had some chipping but it was on the wall facing side of furniture which hadn't been shifted since my last movement, so not sure whether it was due to the current movement or already there from before. Everything got over by 6.30 pm (start was 9.30 am).

So overall not too bad an experience. However some caveats for this review:

  1. The movement was within the same city - no clue how they handle inter-city movement

  2. My furniture could be dismantled, so it's not too difficult to transfer

  3. The lift was available in both places, so that helped a lot both in terms of speed as well as saving fridge/ washing machine etc from getting bashed around

  4. Finally the chipping of the furniture...can't say it was due to them, but can't say it wasn't due to them either! If it wasn't for that, would probably have given them 4 stars.

Worst packers in bangalore

I'm sharing my worst experience from A N Z packers and movers in bangalore.

I planned to shift from ramurthy nagar bangalore to S.G.Palya bangalore, so started looking for good packers and movers, found lot of ANZ packers & movers board hanging on the gate. A guy named jamel (ANZ executive) came to my home & explained and showed the photos of packing method, after seeing all these photos & ISO certified company. I opted to go with them and also promised of closed vehicle

on the day of shifting ANZ folks have sent local kooli wala guys with open type van, saying they are from packers & movers, I made a contact with ANZ senior manager, he said for local shifting we will send only LOCAL KOOLI GUYS meaning local movers, what a terrific answer from ANZ guys and the way respond is also pathetic. Since I don't hav eno other option, have to shift on that day itself, these guys have damaged almost all my house hold items... These kooli folks boss name is SHARIF -  and one more guy who was replying is SHYED - ( he is real goonda)... ANZ also not ready to reduce the prize (Rs.4000) even though sending local kooli folks and arguing like these folks are ANZ executive.. Guys think of it

By best advice please don't go for ANZ packers
