A nice printer with all features !!!

The printing work is simple in his printer. Accompanies a decent cost. and furthermore, the printing is conservative. The cartridges runs great. what's more, not all that costly.

I am essentially utilizing it for my home and school works. what's more, I works splendidly. The establishment is simple. what's more, takes little segment. The printing speed is alright. be that as it may, as I don't print much. I don't trouble much about the speed.

The manufacture quality is awesome. looks so firm. I am content with this printer. what's more, HP's administration is likewise awesome. I will suggest everybody this printer. glad printing

Worst printer
Nov 02, 2016 08:50 AM 4472 Views (via Android App)

I had purchased this HP printer one year ago. It is worth Rs 8, 000 and had one year warranty. From the first day onwards this printer is not working well and I am totally disappointed with the overall performance of the printer. There is ink leaking problem in the printer which spoil the whole printer. Also the printer is not a multi function one. The quality of the print is really bad. And the time it takes to print a page is more compared to other printer. The printing is not uniform. Half of the page is faintly printed while remaining half is dark printed. Also the printer has to be used with great care. The paper handling is not proper. There are hardly any service centre for this printer in Mumbai and the repairing cost is also high. I suggest not to buy this printer as the quality of printing is not good.

The printing work is easy in his printer. Comes with a good price. and also the printing is economical. The cartridges runs good. and not so expensive.

Iam basically using it for my home and college works. and I works perfectly.

The installation is easy. and takes small portion.

The printing speed is okay. but as I dont print much. I dont bother much about the speed.

The build quality is great. looks so stiff .

Iam happy with this printer. and HP's service is also great. I will recommend everyone this printer. happy printing

This printer is quite versatile, so is useful for use within a family and printing documents for school, work, or just those to be used for reference around the house. The replacement cartridges aren’t too expensive either and last a while, meaning if your kids get print happy it shouldn’t break the bank!

The quality is very and ideal for holiday pictures. On glossy paper, they come to life.

Overall a value for money product. Only thing is print finish on mat500 paper is not upto the mark, but that can't take away the other good stuff. I have to agree that this is complete value for money product. I can't comment on the after sale service as I haven't gotten to that part yet.

I was able to get a new cartridge from the HP store, they also informed that I could have it home delivered if I want to next time.

HP Deskjet K209a - Dissatisfactory support by HP
Sep 02, 2011 07:58 PM 7240 Views

I purchased this HP Deskjet Ink Advantage All-in-One series K209a on 2 July 2011.

On 25th Aug 2011, I called up the HP service centre to lodge a complaint(req. no. 8053249760) to mention that the printer was blinking and not allowing me to print. I was instructed over the phone to open up the printer, remove the colour cartrige, and wipe it. He even instructed me to take a piece of cloth and wipe inside, which I did not do, in case I broke something. After putting the colour cartridge back, the printer was still blinking. The rep asked me to print a test page and tells me that the problem is with the cartridge. He tells me that the cartridge is an accessory and is not part of the printer. Therefore, I would have to physically take the colour cartridge along with my bill to Vikhroli or Andheri where they would examine it and decide what needs to be done. I tell him that I am staying in Navi Mumbai and I do not have the time to go and have the cartridge checked out, if even there is a problem with the cartridge. After much pleading he finally agreed to have someone sent over(onsite req. no. 3574114).

On Saturday 27th August, at around 5:50 pm, I got a call from their engineer saying that he was coming over to check the printer. We waited for him but he never showed up. He didn't even bother to inform us that he could'nt make it. No one showed up on Monday either. On Tuesday, I got a call again at noon saying that he would be coming in 1 - 1.5 hrs. After making several calls since that time and he finally showed up around 7:15 pm. He checked the printer, replaced the cartridge with one of his and showed me that it was indeed the cartridge that was at fault. He again told me that I have to take the cartridge to Vikhroli or Andheri to have it looked at. Or I could take it to my dealer.

Today, I went to Croma, Vashi(Dealer) from where we purchased this printer. They told us to speak with a co-ordinator, Santosh Patil at Vashi, HP service center. He very rudely tells us that they will not replace the cartridge. He also tells us that we have to take the cartridge to Vikhroli.

What I fail to understand, is, when HP has a service centre in Vashi, why is it that I am being asked to take the cartridge to Vikhroli. First of all, when their engineer came over(that too, after 5 days), it was his responsibility to take the cartridge with him and forward it to whichever dept. it needs to go. Why are HP categorizing this integral part of the printer as an accessory and apart from the printer. Can their printer function without it? That too, this cartridge(HP 703 Tri-color ink cartridge CD888A) is the same one that came with the printer when we purchased it. I had not even used up 10% of it.

It has not even been 2 months since purchasing this printer. And I am sure that I am covered to get this replacement. However they are just stalling and making me run from one service centre to another, so that I get frustrated and finally give up pursuing this matter.

I have even emailed Mr. Rakesh Rasalam(Service Head) regarding this matter.

I did not buy a HP product to get this sort of disservice.

HP guys, if you are listening, then you better get your act together. Your service is dispicable. Initially when I purchased the printer, I had difficulty in installing it. When I called up your customer care to ask to send someone over to assist in this very initial task, they flat out refused. They said that installing the printer is not their responsibility. They tried to instruct me over the phone but without any success. I finally had to get a computer professional to help me with the installation.

This time over, also, the fellow initially refused to take the onsite request. It was only when I asked to speak to his supervisor, that he finally gave me the onsite request no.

Anyone planning to purchase HP printers BEWARE! The cartridge is not covered under the printer warranty(even the one that came with the printer when we purchased it). If you are not proficient in installation you are in deep trouble!

Think twice/thrice over before purchasing an HP printer. It has only been 2 months since my purchase.

Good Printer

Its four different standards of printing allow you to choose the type of print you want, compromising between quality and speed. At best quality the printer really does well and although the printing is slow, the quality is very and ideal for holiday pictures. On glossy paper, they come to life.

At lowest quality, its still ok for general use(such as some internet documents) and is a lot quicker. I keep it on the standard called ‘everyday’ which although isn’t the fastest, especially compared to some other printers, is still quite quick whilst giving a good quality – Good enough to hand in for coursework etc.

This printer is quite versatile, so is useful for use within a family and printing documents for school, work, or just those to be used for reference around the house. The replacement cartridges aren’t too expensive either and last a while, meaning if your kids get print happy it shouldn’t break the bank!

HP Printers - HP looting India and customers

Do not buy hp printershp printers - hp looting india and customers

The customer is not provided with the correct customer care number, neither on the product box nor on warranty manuals, nor on the website. India office numbers are either found busy or nobody will bother to answer customers’ calls. The toll free numbers mostly keep chanting, “our support options have changed. Please listen carefully. For damn hp notebooks dial 1. For damn hp printers dial 2. For damn hp proliant servers dial 3” etc. Then refer the customer to another toll free number and hangup.

The customer dials another number and the customer would listen another chanting and then some executive would suggest you to dial another toll free number which is always found only beeping (like it was busy). While writing this review, i was speaking to hp customer care executive would clearly say, “you can do whatever you want”

With new hp printer you get introductory ink cartridges which print less than 50 pages. Then you need to buy a new cartridge which will cost you rs.800/-. The cartridge becomes empty after printing 200 pages in fast draft (economy mode). That means printing cost rs.4 per a4 size paper

This printer has been my absolute favorite computer related piece of equipment. It held up to two years of extreme printing before dying with a mechanism problem in December of last year. So when I went back to replace it I found and have still have not found it's equal,so I replaced it with another 1120c. Text wise the printer has no superior in the ink jet world.

At the time of it's release it had no peer among tabloid capable ink jet printers, but has since been bettered by its younger siblings. Although none have tabloid printing capabilities keeping the 1120 a dominant big brother in the HP family.

The 1120c is easily the most versitile ink jet on the market today. At around $399.00 at Office Max stores around the country you might want to think about picking one up before HP kills it off.

Strengths:

11X17 Printing, Great Printer Driver, Great near Photo quality printing especially for a printer released well over 2 years ago.

Weaknesses:

Will destroy a lot of paper on long print runs. No indication what so ever when color ink will run out. Uses yellow ink in B & W photo printing therefore making printer a color ink cartridge hog. and then HP started putting less ink in the color cartridge not giving heavy users an option of buying the larger cartridge (great way to turn off customers if you ask me).

Similar Products Used:

To my knowledge there is no other printer in its class at least not in the stores I shop in Office Depot and Office Max.

HP 1120C Review ...
Jul 09, 2004 12:12 AM 7738 Views

I think that this is probably the only A3 printer from the HP range. I have been using this printer for more than a year and I find the printer to be quite fast and give good quality printouts at normal speed. We don't really need to use the ''best'' mode. Econo speed is really really fast.

The print preview function which is part of the printer software is also quite good. It shows the true colours of the print on the monitor screen before it starts printing. Obviously, you can cancel the print if you find that the colours in the preview are not the ones you are looking for.

But, there is a high recurring cost. The cartridges which are used by the printer are quite expensive. About Rs 1600 for colour & about rs 1100 for the black & white one.

The only technical problem that I have faced with the performance is when I try and print A3 size prints from some other terminal of the network specially through autocad. These prints generally don't go through.

But all said and done, I think it is still the best of all the printers that I have ever used.
