It’s a wonder how silence can actually speak louder than words. It’s a marvel how much you get to know yourself when you spend sometime with yourself. In today’s fast paced world, we forget very conveniently to pause and reflect on who we are, what we want, why we do what we do. We keep on making the same mistakes again and again, and we keep on resting on our past laurels. I’ve realized that… to grow, we must take a break at times, hold on and let destiny take its own route, while you are contemplating your own feelings and thoughts. Sometimes, when you have done all you could, when you have put all your might, and things still don't work out, just let God take charge. Read More

It’s been more than a year since I left my abode to find my space in the worldly waters. Time just flew by. It seems like just yesterday when mom, papa, anku and manku were hugging me at the airport, their eyes wet with emotion. It was a surreal moment. I didn’t know what to say to them. I didn’t know whether to thank mama n papa for the innumerable blessings they have bestowed me with. No, thank you would be too small a word. I didn’t know whether to tell them all “I will miss you”. No, that would make me break down. I just didn’t know what to say. So I just hugged them tight, as if trying to make them sit in my heart forever, so that I wont feel lonely in the new place I was going to. While I was boarding the plane with papa, who was coming with me for a few days, I was numb. I was leaving the city where I was born, and where I had spent the last 8 years of my life, where I graduated, where I made the best of friends. I was leaving the home where I had spent the best times…where I had laughed with my family, where I had fought with my brother over the remote, where I had cried over the silliest of matters. I was going away from the sofa where I used to chat for hours on the phone with friends, from my PC where I used to spend the entire day sometimes…chatting and orkutting, with mama shouting at me from the kitchen to get my bournvita or my dinner. And now, I long to leave the computer at office, just to hear my mama calling me for dinner. Read More
