The most awaited Indian web series Sacred Games hits the Netflix screens on midnight of 15th August. Formerly taken from Vikram Chandra's 2006 crime novel, Sacred Games was most-watched web series of the year 2018.
Coming back with another chapter because of huge public demand was the actual task in front of the cast and crew the show has faced with some criticism due to its slow pace. While the first season is full of adult content, this season more focuses on the logical script.
The second season takes off right where the first ended, with Inspector Sartaj Singh played by Saif Ali Khan hunting off on a train. Where on the other hand the lead actor Ganesh Gaitonde played by Nawazuddin Siddiqui is shown stranded on a boat in the middle of a sea. The eight episodes namely Matsya, Siduri, Apasmara, Bardo, Vikarna, Azrael, Torino, Radcliffe revealed much about Ganesh Gaitonde’s life. Gaitonde finally meets Guruji played by Pankaj Tripathi in this season. Two new addition in this season happened Kalki Koechlin and Ranvir Shorey who tried hard to give their extraordinary performance but it doesn't last long.

The one more addition in this season was RAW agent Kusum Devi Yadav a.k.a Madam Yadav played by the finest Marathi actress Amruta Subhas who does a remarkable job with her acting skills. She was the highlight of this season like last season's constable Katekar played by Jitendra Joshi.
Overall this season is very much dull as compared to the previous one in the eyes of audiences. Maybe the slow pace of the story or lack of adult scenes made people think like that. Based on the book this series may go on air with many other seasons.
