Mammootty Upcoming Movies

Mammoothy whose real name is Muhammad Kutty Ismail Paniparambil is an Indian film actor, producer and distributer. He works in Malayalam films and he has also done Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and English films. He believes in method acting and is known as the god of method acting. 

 He got his lawyers degree from Ernakulam Government Law College. He is the chairman of Malayalam Communications, which runs the Malayalam television channels Kairali TV, People TV and WE TV. He married Sulfaath in 1980 and has a daughter, Surmi and a son, Dulquer Salman, who is also an actor.  

He was discovered by M.T Vasudevan Nair, who cast him in Devalokam, which was an unfinished project. He has acted in close to 400 films and is one of the biggest stars of Malayalam movies. His first successful film was after the commercial success of his film, New Delhi. He made his debut in Anubhavangal Paalichakal. He played a police officer in the investigative thriller, Yavanika (1982), which was directed by K.G.George and was a commercial and critical success. His film Padayottam was the first 70 mm film to be completely processed in India. It was also the first Malayalam film with a budget of over 1 crore. His movie, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, was the first Indian movie to be dubbed in 9 Indian languages. 

He won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Actor for his performance in Kaazhcha. He has actually won 13 South Indian film fare awards for best actor category. 

Mammoothy has 12 industry hit movies, Aa Rathri, Aavanazhi, New Delhi, Oru CBI Diary Kurippu(1988), Sukrutham, Oru Vadakkan, Veeragatha, The King, Oru Maravathoor Kanavu, Hitler, Rajamanikyam, Kerala Varma Pazhassi Raja and Twenty: 20. 

He was the good will ambassador of Kerala Akshaya Computer Literacy Project, South Indian Bank, Make in Kerala Summit, Clean campus, Safe campus.
