I submitted my Xolo A500S to the service centre at Malad, Mumbai on 1st April 2014. The handset had charging problems and had to be sent to the head office at Noida. The phone reached Noida head office on 9th April. This was the first delay from the service centre. After a lot of followup there was no update on the repairs. On 22nd April 2014 I called Xolo Care and they said the handset is under repairs.
I spoke to supervisor Amandeep and he refused to give any details of the phone repairs. On 25th April when I called Xolo care again I was informed that the handset was repaired on 21st April and was dispatched to Mumbai on 22nd April. Today
on 26th April when I came to the Service Centre at Malad, Mumbai, I received the handset with the Touch screen damaged. I again called Xolo care and they are taking no responsibility for the same and asked me to resubmit the handset to the service centre and after checking they will confirm for delivery and I will have to wait for another month for the same.
The service centre is also not taking any responsibility as they are shutting down. I then spoke to the owner of the service centre who changed the Touch screen which would not work either. As the service centre was closing down, I took the handset and submitted it at the Borivali, Mumbai centre on 28th April, 2014.They told me they will replace the Touch screen and kept the handset for 10 days.
After 10 days I got a call stating the handset is repaired. When I reached the service centre on 7th May 2014, I found that they did not repair the handset and only flashed the software. I had to resubmit the handset again and was promised that it will be repaired in 2-3 days. On 10th May I went to the service centre again and was informed that the display is not working now and the phone needs to be sent to Noida again for repairs.
Since then the phone is at the Head Office at Noida and is not being repaired. Whenever I call the service centre, nobody answers the call. When I call Xolo care, they say the handset is in repair and they cannot give a TAT or provide replacement handset. Its been 2 months since I submitted the handset to Xolo and my warranty is wasted for 2 months.
They are not ready to extend the warranty. The phone's battery is with me and unused since 2 months which may lead to non-functionality of the battery. Xolo is not taking any responsibility for the same.
Kindly help as I am helpless and I cannot take any action as no one is taking any responsibility.
