I have bought a Spice QT 58 model mobile on Jan 2012. Recently I lost the head phone and I went to spice dealer in Kochi for a new head set. As per their advice. I paid an advance of 100 Rs for the item and they promised the item will be delivered in 2 weeks. But it has been more than three months and I didn't get the item.

When I contacted the authorised service center they the company is not sending them spares so it is unavailable and they returned me the advance. So what are we customers supposed to do, it is quite difficult for me to use the mobile without head phone and we are not getting a positive response from service centres also.

Now as a customer, I wont be able to recommend the item to any of my friends or others due to the bad experience I faced.

I already own a Nokia Smartphone and quite satisfied with it.

But, what you do when you need a good Dual SIM mobile to an extent that slackness in quality of even a less degree may cost you too much.

Hence, this time also, I was equally careful while going for a new dual SIM mobile.

I did some two days of home work on Internet.

My requirements were price within 2.5K and a reputed brand. Also the good battery back up, exceptional call quality, ease of messaging, superior call recording and QWERTY sturdy key pad and of course a contemporary look.

I went to the Sagar market of Kanpur and went with a lot of time at my disposal. I went in shops where the representative agreed to let me practically use it. I made calls, did messages etc using my own SIMs.

I finalised for Spice QT-58 Mini.

Features, I liked

Dual SIM operation :-I am using Tata Docomo as master SIM with call rates 1p/2s and BSNL `Jai Jawan` SIM in which I get 20 minutes outgoing free each day on two BSNL STD Nos.

Call Quality :- the BEST part of this mobile. I do not hesitate to say it`s better than my Nokia Smartphonewith price more than 8K. Speaker phone Function is so effective that I prefer only Speaker phone when at Home. The Volume control is easy with two dedicated button. However, I feel with the free headset given, the call quality is little compromised.

Call Record :- It records incoming and outgoing calls as per your wish with ditto the same quality. I feel too good reproducing the recorded calls. Even my Nokia records with little inferior quality and with irritating beeps while recording in progress.

Track Pad:- Wow, this function too rocks. I have now more than 700 in my contact list and ALL are important. Finding any contact is a breeze using the Track pad of the set. Even there are settings to adjust the Track pad sensitivity. I am using Track pad first time. However, I got used to this function within a day. Sending Multi SMSs with my selection is too interesting to do.

Screen :- Size 2`` and resolution is good. I put an inbuilt wallpaper and the set gives me an impression of the latest Blackberry! Six frequently used application shortcuts can be put on the home page.

Feel and Look :- Very cute, sleek, light and contemporary look. It`s available in three attractive colors.

Battery :- Good for many days of stand by time and 5-6 hours of Talk time.

Memory card:- Upto 4 GB can be put. I have put just 2 GB for my limited use.

Bluetooth:-Data transfer is fast.

Computer connectivity :-Easy and fast with the provided Data Cable.The computer can charge the cell.

Charger points :- Two. One point is commonly used Nokia `patla pin` and other is mini USB .

Phone book:- It`s very user friendly. When you put a new number to save, you get options as to save in Master SIM or Slave SIM or to the Phone which has 1000 store capacity. If minimum 150 each in each SIM then a total of 1300 contacts can be saved in this device.

Some less prefered Functions :-

FM radio:-Works with Headset only. The User Interface is good. The FM recording with even a scheduled recording function.

Camera:- Only 1.3 MP without flash. But decent images captured. Video record is average. Some good settings for both the functions are there.

Misc:- There are GPRS, Java Gaming and many other normal functions of mobile, though I did not need to try it.

Verdict:-

If you are in search of a good Dual SIM mobile set with low budget, your search ends here. If you happen to purchase it, do not forget to thank me as now a days, I am tooooooo busy. I wrote for you only!

      We recommend getting an extremely good quality look with extraordinary features in a sensible prize a Spice mobile phone or in another way gets the dual sim mobile phone “Spice QT-58” a very eye-catching n heart touching mobile phone. Phone Spice QT-58 offered in India only with a suitable Price: of Rs; 2650/= only. have battery backup during standby mode as of 04 to 05 days & during talk time mode approx 24 hours however its only normal count from my end, while I’m not sure absolutely as never I can’t calculate as well as there is no doubt that this battery backup is its higher than at all times which we mention above .

Spice QT-58 phone have only 80 grams of its weight in three different-different type of shades & colors i.e. Red, Black & White having memory support up to 08 GB. The two extra important features are seeing that is dual sim(GSM+ GSM) & a camera of 1.3 Megapixel. or when we discuss something about the services of its connectivity & some other more sources this mobile phone having BLUETOOTH, USB, GPRS, EDGE, INTERNATE BROWSING etc. etc. with AUDIO, VIDEO, FM RADIO, & POLYPHONIC RINGTONES.

At Last The mobile Spice QT-58 with Color TFT type in a very good finishing with just just n just in Rs. 2650/= a budget mobile not a bad Yaar.
