Worst ever phone
May 20, 2017 07:37 AM 1144 Views

Samsung Galaxy S pro is the expensive model with low quality and features. It has 4.5 inch display which is too short in 6000 rs. Rear and front camera is average. But the battery performance is very poor, it doesn't works properly and have to charge the phone time to time. After buying, the first thing to do is to update its software. Touchpad doesn't works properly. It is operated by the oldest version of Android kitkat 4.4.4. This phone doesn't have much ram and I ternal storage. The quality provided by the phone is not equal to the price pays. Look of the phone is traditional to desigining of samsung.

Experience with Samsung Mobile phone

I bought a Samsung Galaxy , model  GT- B7510 on 26 May this year. Mainly flits apps and android os.. I am very disappointed with the performance of the battery. Three months after purchase, the Samsung Service Centre, to whom I referred the problem, advised that the  battery life could be extended I'd apps are not kept running in the background. This has been strictly followed.

The battery gets discharged quickly. It takes a long time to get charged . I took the phone again to the Service Centre yesterday, 26 Dec. On inspection, I was told that the software will have to be upgraded and that this will take care of the problem on the battery. This was done although in the process the data stored was lost. The battery has further deteriorated. Today it was fully charged at around 11 am and although the phone had hardly been used, a good deal of the  charge had been lost by 2pm, in a matter of three hours.

By comparison all the Nokia models I had used in the past have had better battery performance and voice clarity. Samsung's service personnel were very courteous and tried to be helpful. In the circumstances I would not recommend purchase of a Samsung to any friend

Samsung Touch Phone, touch pad reliability issues
Mar 03, 2011 09:25 AM 2325 Views

I have Samsung touch phone which I bought 8 months back, I have problem with the touch panel, it has a major problem of the offset touch. I cant use all the functions as I cant select some options lying on one side of the phone.

The product is very unreliable.

Apart from this, to operate the touch panel you have to press hard and then move around. I think samsung failed to meet the functionality and quality demands of the touch panel where as i-phone is way ahead of it.

So be considerate before purchasing Samsung touch phone. Go for i-phone even if it is costly, its worth it.

Samsung Galaxy S GT-I9000 Tech meets incompetence
Oct 14, 2010 03:42 PM 2294 Views

I purchased a Samsung Galaxy S - GT I9000 phone on the 2nd of October 2010. It is indeed a good phone basis the fact that

a) Android OS

b) 16 GB Internal Memory that would allow for upgrades

c) Apps are plentiful.

However when I started using the phone that I realised with minimum use as described below -

a) Some 15-20 calls per day each not lasting on an average 5 mins

b) Occasional Apps use of not more than 15 mins per day

c) Internet usage of not more than 10 mins per day

the battery dies out at the end of each day. In fact while I bought the phone on 2nd October 2010, the batter manufacturing date indicates 26th Aug 2010.

To top this, today the Phone Charger quit on me while I am in Kolkata for a marketing event leaving me high and dry since Kolkata Services are shut down the next 3 days for Durga Puja. Interestingly when I called the Samsung Helpline I was told -

a) I must carry the warranty papers to the service center to get the charger or battery checked. Otherwise without the same it would cost me.

b) Without the papers, I the customer should call up the service center and figure out whether they can repair it in warranty without the warranty documents.

c) Finally they called and realised that the service center is shut for 3 days. In effect I am in Kolkata stuck without a handset because my battery will not charge and when it does it does not last at all.

I guess this is the last Samsung product I will ever use.

Thank you Mr Kim wherever you are. If you do think you want to call me please do so on 9892580801.
