As a Nokia user from 2002 onwards, when I need to purchase a new mobile the first thing that will come to mind is NOKIA. However after purchasing the Nokia C2-03 for any more I will not buy a Nokia. I purchased the phone in November 2011 and by March 2012 I had taken it to Nokia care 2 times and even now the problems are not fully solved.

Either bluetooth will not work or touch screen will not work. As the phone does not have any navigation keys the phone is totally dependent on touch screen. The worst mobile I had purchased ever is Nokia C2-03. Once touch stops working you cant even attend the incoming call even.

Its the worst that Nokia can make, just good looks, but try to use the touch screen, its like sandpaper dragging icons, keys are clumsy to type on, software is bad, try storing nos, so difficult to navigate, throw it, dump,

Poor sound quality too. I threw it after 2 days.

I will recommend this phone to anyone except if sum1 chats and message a lot.

Good things :

Superb design

Cool slider

Nice shortcut option

Great folder management

Variety of color choices

Low price

Nice picture quality of camera

Long battery life(2 days with normal calls, music and sms usage)

Bad things

No touch qwerty (its really problematic if u chat and message a lot)

Making a playlist is complicated

Hangs sometimes

USB cord is very short

No scratch protection given with the phone provided it is touch screen

No free application download option(nokia doesn't have android :( so sad!!!! )

When I first saw the advertisement of Nokia C2-03 phone on the television, I got fatally attracted towards it. I had decided to buy that phone for sure. Its features attracted me- It was dual simcard phone, 2 G.B memory card installed and especially, its touch-n-type feature. It somewhat looks like the smaller version of BlackBerry Torch 9800 and I found it to be really cute.

I was pretty excited while buying it, but almost after a month or so, my happiness was shattered. The memory card was a 2G.B one but it wouldn't support even 1 G.B. After 1G.B had been used up, I could no longer open some applications such as my photo album, the music player & even some games. The beautiful themes I had downloaded with loads of hope, I couldn't even apply them. Sometimes, while i'm texting, the phone would get switched off, & when it started working, I could no more open my inbox, Sent items, Drafts, Archive or even type the messages. It would remain so for even a complete day. Sometimes, when everything is fine, I can't receive messages, & after opening my sim card & putting it back for almost 10 times, I would see messages pouring.

Sometimes, I do get disgusted with my present phone, even want to change it ASAP, yet I love it a lot. Moreover, I have an affinity towards Nokia. So people, just don't take any decision hastily, like buy phones by seeing them on the T.V. Go to the store, check out all its features, suit yourself & only then buy it.

I bought Nokia C2-03 during Aug. Till now i'm touchscreen made me bad experience like why I bought this product. Even I not able find just added name from name search. Used to travel long time to my office, when I tried to use radio, it give me the feeling not to hear any more songs in radio.

Also sometimes sound is not clear.

I purchased a month ago for 4500/- INR. Its a good piece for the money I spent. It has got touch and key board as well. Slider feature is also and add on feature.

The cons : There is only one dial (green) button so you need to select which sim you need to use for dialling a number(other mobile phones have 2 green buttons one for each sim) Over all  I found Pros mre than cons. So I suggest this product may be preferred but check C2-06 before buying c2-03

Nokia C2 03 is failure model and it doesn't have navigation key and touch screen is not at all good. Also Dual sim is not working properly.

Music player is not good (mono sound not stereo)

I suggest not to buy this mobile. After using 2 days I am irritated and planning to buy another new mobile.

Camera clarity is very poor .I even doubt that it has a 2MP Camera?.

touch screen is useless, you can’t even type or save a name.If u want to delete one music file u have to go through a lot of steps. no ease of operation. Not user friendly

Hi

I bought this phone last week and I saw some fixes are available in new verion so I updated the version but still lot more issues are there.

1)The display flickers sometime

2)The border line of below buttons sometime move upward

3)The customer care for nokia is also not so good now a days they take minimum 2 days to check up at least in mumbai

4)The worst part is the contacts from SIM card are not shown when you are searching any number:(

How can Nokia launch such a 3rd grade phone. Even china mobile is better than this

I am using Nokia phones for the last 6-7 yrs. I recently brought c2-03.this is the worst phone I ever used with good looks.First of all its touch screen function is not respondimg properly.camera clarity is very poor .I even doubt that it has a 2MP Camera?.Actually saying no use with touch screen also, u can't even type or save a name.If u want to delete one music file u have to go through a lot of steps. no ease of operation.My suggestion is don't go for this phone.

It was a bitter experience with Nokia by buying a new C2-03. Nokia is far behind in Touch technology. For C2-03, they also need to provide a hammer or similar to get it worked.

By hard touch, when you try scrolling, it ends with extreme ends, or gets opened. Nokia applications take more than 4 minutes to open..I could never see it. Call list is displayed latest call last. Herculean task to scroll to re dial latest call.

In short, it is an utter failure.

Then about Nokia customer care, they don't have any commitments to customers. They force to stop our complaints by their negative response. This story ends by returning my 4 days old Nokia C2-03 to same shop keeper with a loss of Rs.1800/ + calls to Nokia care persons + travelling to service centers (both time, money, effort).

I foresee, Nokia will be vanished from market very soon.

Dear friends please check Samsung or LG's dual sim touch mobiles,  in same budget  you will get more user friendly mobiles with more features.

I bought nokia C2-03 10 days ago. its a stupid phone made by nokia no seeking in media player through touch experience, no key pad settings, no use of automatic lock of  touchscreen. worst nokia browser, some times system hangs. waste of money for this money we can have better phone than this in market.

Touch experience is also very bad slow response. No scrolling of selecting to delete or edit applicaton or any. Don't go for this. Is any one there to tell me how to sue on nokia so that it wont launch useless products like this which is priceless.

A month ago I bought this phone so meri apse request hai k please don't buy this phone bilkul dabba hai no media player for video streaming player nokia ka brower bilkul bakwas hai automatically hangs and re starts touch experience is not very good no camera key and the lock key have no settings in the setting option it automatically locks your phone if you dont wanna lock it there is no setting for lock key.

Reason for buying:

Want to replace my Sony Ericsson Spiro which hangs a lot and poor signal in NGV, Koramangala, Bangalore.

Review C2-03:

Voice: Very good quality and clarity of voice. Though my apartment has signal problem, but it works gr8 with this phone.

Audio: Good. Speakers are like playing on laptop. J

Response: The call initiation and end is very responsive.

Looks: Black one has decent looks.

White one has golden color keypad and bottom end – which looks very odd.

OVI Tool: This tool helps in managing contacts, music etc from computer and also keeps backup over computer. Moreover the sync feature is handy.

UI: This one is 1st touch for me, so I am getting used to UI, still organization is good.

Touch response: Touch is decent, thought not very gr8. It is good enough wrt price of this phone.

I don’t see any problem in it, as we cant compare this with HTC\Apple J

Battery Life: Looks decent, made many calls and played music – but doesn’t look like dying.

Ear Phone: Bit disappointing. So I bought the one from philips with ear buds for Rs 365 from FlipKart.

This is one of the Nokia's innovative launch in the recent times. this product has got 75% of all the features of present technology at a reasonable price.

Introduction:

Nokia C2-03 is the first Gsm mobile handset that possess a touchscreen in a slider phone form factor. The key features of this phone are its having touch screen, alpha-numeric keypad, Slider and Dual Sim. Other main features of this mobile are 2.0 mp camera, Nokia Maps, Gprs, Edge, Bluetooth, integrated Social Networking & FM Radio With Recording.

My Experience After Using This Mobile:

I bought this mobile on Aug 10 and till now its been an awesome experience, this mobile is specially designed for low & mid end users. well I have so many reasons to say this:

1. my first vote goes for the looks, its really fantastic as it is a slide phone as well as touch phone   and having a great finish over the phone.

   
   




2. I liked the dual-sim Easy swap feature as we can change the sims without switching off our mobile and it can remember upto 5 sim card settings.

   
   




3. The music is best at its class as like all other nokia s40 mobiles and the earphones provided with the handset were not good, so I had other option of choosing bud earphones.

   
   




4. it has got Nokia Maps pre-installed and the best thing is even we can search for the locations in offline mode(if we save earlier). and my browsing experience was good enough as it has no 3g.

   
   




5. the 2mp camera is very good when compared to other nokia 2mp camera mobiles because it has got 4x zoom option and giving me better clarity pictures.

   
   




6. Even though 2gb card is supplied with the handset I bought 8gb card for more stuff, and I have 4.5 gb of stuff in my memory card now and my mobile dont know what is hanging:) & 10mb internal memory is provided and External memory can be extended upto 32 gb

   
   




7. Facebook Integrated app was very friendly & nice in the mobile as I use it daily.

   
   




8. Last but not the least, Friends do any 1 believe wats the price of this mobile, we can own this only @ 4, 500 rs amazing na:)

My Disappointment's:

1. Battery backup was not that great that i'm expecting, I have to charge daily once atleast.

Well I do have only two reasons to describe the drawbacks of this mobile.

Conclusion:

Finally I say that those who r looking for this kind of mobile in low budget, I can bet this is the best mobile in the present market.
