I bought this phone a year and half back, and it sucks!!

Within 3 months of use, the flip top came off. as it was within warranty period, they repaired it for free. from then on, it has happened 2 more times, and I had to pay 1600 Rs. each time for it. now its 4th time that it has broken. The same thing happened to my friend's phone too. Then I checked with many dealers and they say its a design defect. They even refused to take ir for exchanging as the word is out that it has a design defect.

The motorola guys refuse to recall their product and they repay their customers. Pathetic!! I am never buying any motorola cell again!!

I bought this mobile last year, from that with in 4 weeks the mobile is hanging frequently. It's performance is very poor. You have to wait for at least 5 seconds to search a number or photos. Totally this is the worst model from Motorola, not worthy for its cost.

Only best thing is it's very handy and the picture clarity is good, that too not more than other mobiles. The key pads are also hard and not easy to use. In my mobile, the number key "1" is not working properly, I have to press more than once for dialing / typing.

Typing message is not easy, we need more patience for typing messages. In this model, you can not use head phone while charging. Usability is also not good compared to other mobiles. It can be easily get scratches in its outer display. Totally Motorola U9 sucks.
