I want to share my experience on this phone which is a simple and old school looking phone. The phone feel little bit heavy while carrying I don't known this is because of battery or its built quality. The picture quality is average but the brightness of the phone is not good during direct sunlight. The ram management of the phone is very bad if you minimize some task in the background and open another task but when you open the minimized task then the system restart the task again instead of resuming it. You can play games on it but the phone get heated more while gaming and sometime it shows shutdown system warning. Sound reception is average. Sometimes phone get hang and show black screen for 5 to 10 minutes. Camera quality of back is good but front camera picture quality below average. The phone comes with decent features for daily use not much . Battery backup of this phone is really bad it last upto 4 to 5 hrs approx . In my view firstly the price of this phone is very high and at this price you will get many other options.

Micromax canvas 5 is a great mobile phone with hd display. On this mobile phone we can play many games such as pubg, asphalt8 and other games. This phone also have less price with great camera. It has also great coloures. iit has flash on the front.it has good battery pick up.this phone is better than the phone than come in this range. It does not heat too much. We can play pubg on this device without any lag and problems. This phone has good video quality. This is the mobile phone with 3gb ram and 16gb storage and a good processor. Great phone. I love this phone.

I took Micromax canvas 5 mobile 1 January 2017, initially ran well for 3/4 months. Then the battery does not last, March 2018 was closed, the battery was not started even after capping. Mobile was giving too much trouble, sound colitis very low.

Many problems with hanging and restart every time. Micromax canvas 5 e481 is bad mobile phone.

Tis might look like an awesome budget category smartphone but being honest even I bought one thinking that it would really be good but then after some months of usage I found it to be unproductive.

Why?Because of the following reasons:-

1. You won't be receiving any updates

   
   




2. Sound isn't that loud

   
   




3. Battery drains very fast. You will be annoyed

   
   




4. After reaching 15% battery you cannot use flashlight

   
   




5. Still runs on Android 5.1(company claimed to give marshmallow update but didn't released till date)

   
   




6. Gets heated up very quick

   
   




7. Lags most of the time

   
   

But camera is a bit good

I would recommend you to go for other smatphones.

I am using this mobile from last 3 years this mobile is very bad I just say. Its UI is very bad looking and it hangs very much. However, it has 3 gb RAM but it is not so fast in fact it is very slow. Its design and look is good I say that but a mobile phone does not only involve look design but also its features. So I did not suggest you to buy this mobile. It is definitely not value for money.

I have been using this phone for about 2 years now and what I have realised is the fact that the phone hangs alot, the memory space is quite less and battery life is average. The overall phone is an average when it comes to performance but the camera quality of the phone is good. It's a good to average phone to buy. The micromax canvas 5 e481 has a problem of overheating on a normal usage which again is a minus point. Look and feel of the phone is good but when it comes to usage its just an average phone.

I had purchased it 2 yrs back. And it is working perfectly with no software or hardware problem. Camera is f9 and clock speed is excellent never found it lagging .neither it gets heated on heavy gaming, 8k is good for this phone having 3 gigabytes of ram and 1.8 GHz of processor with GPU of malitek still it is good

Micromax canvas 5 its the best moble phone to use its user-friendly and smooth running.it has a better performance and it has 13 mp rare camara and 5 mp front camara and it has 16 gb internal and 3 gb ram .And its slim and sleak desing give an perfect look for the mobile phone .the back is coverd with leather type back and it give and smooth holding and it will not slide off from our hands and it the best phone

Guys this is awesome phone by micromax. I am using this smartphone since April 2016 ( about one and half years) , I realized this is a best phone for gaming because this phone comes with 3 GB RAM which works very smooth when I play any kind of games.

Guys finally, I suggest you to buy this wonderful smart phone. Even its price is too good.

Hi guys, I am sunny and I want to say something about this phone micromax canvas 5 e481. This phone is amazing with his amzaming feature 's it is very good looking , slim piece and lite weight. This phone' features are like high quality camera, superb speaker , fabulous touch screen , good oprater with other smart features and etc. I am also using this phone this phone have fast speed in internet, it's never hang when I use internet. It also contain's large storage and excellent ram, rom. So guys , if you want smart phone I suggest to buy this phone because is good for us and it is in trend , not so costly this is good in price and also this phone is fabulous in my opinion and I think other people also like this phone.

This phone is worst phone ever I have used, after using it for sometime I experienced automatic shutdown, suddenly battery draining problem, phone hangs auddenly for 1-2 mins, sound quality od this phone is good but not better, I do not recommend this phone, because after sales service of this phone sucks.

Today I am reviewing this phone on the basis of my experience and unit I used. I purchased this phone in November, 2015 when it was launched. its initial impression was quite good. I am reviewing this phone in points as follows:-

CALL QUALITY:-  Its call quality and sound reception was very good.

PERFORMANCE:-   Its performance was initially very good but after 3 months of purchase it started overheating while using more than continuous 30 mins.

BATTERY:- The battery backup was good but not great. it typically lasts a day with normal uses. and it took almost 2.5 hours to charge fully.

AUDIO QUALITY:- The audio quality and speakers of the phone was good.

LOOKS:- Looks wise it was very nice to see and hold. this could be a plus point for buying it.

CAMERA:- Its having 13 mp and 5 mp camera setup. and I would say the camera quality was actually very good. it also takes good snaps in low light conditions.

USER INTERFACE and TOUCH:- The user interface of the phone was good, icons were stylish and the touch was so responsive initially but when it started hanging the touch doesn't work.

NETWORK SPEED:- The network reception in this phone was very good. I faced no any lag in network reception.

VALUE FOR MONEY:- As per my experience I would say that it's not worth the price.

I would recommend it to someone who want beautiful phone with some good features like camera and average battery backup but not to those who are performance lovers.

Worst! Worst! Worst! , nothing much I can say except this. Hello friends myself akhil agrawal and today I would like to share a review of this mobile phone. So lets start with, what a mobile should contain. 1. Long lasting, which is not available in this mobile phone, 2.sound, which is also worst, 3 . storage, this department will little bit make you feel good, then comes 4.camera, the quality of this mobile's camera is just simple like the Quality which small company's used to give, 5. Hanging problem, this the main reason which is the cause of lacking down of this mobile phone, because of this problem this mobile irritates so much I can't tell you. That's why I have given it a name called HANGROMAX . So in short it is a WASTAGE or MONEY only nothing else.

Just I purchesed last month but now I facing lots of problem with this product the main thing is that battery performence is very poor in the time of data surffing it will take only an hour or less to fully drain also fully charging time is more than other products.Another problem is heating issue if you internet surffing for sometimes or playing games there will be heating problem.anther thing is customer care service is not up to the mark in case of any problem they will take much more time to rectify this.

Iam using micromax canvas 5 e481 since 1.5yr and I have no problem yet.

One thing I like most about this phone is that it have front facing flash usually we don't get this function at this price range.

Next thing is that it have 3gb ram which is perfect for a game lover.

Design is very slim and light weight.

Sound is little bit low as compare to other micromax model.

Yeah its user friendly . With lots of features installed in it : )

The Micromax Canvas5 was a beautifully put mobile, Sleek, Stylish, Smart. I was very happy to have purchased this mobile in November 2015. I started using this phone from March 2016 as I was attached to my Canvas doodle phone. This phone had me fed up in a few weeks. The screen froze up and since you can't remove the battery. You have to wait till it discharges.

Thereafter this problem took a display as it would constantly go into a DOS screen and heat up. That was almost a year ago.I have now become used to going to the main DOS screen and rebooting it from there after testing all components. ON A DAILY BASIS!. It has been the most idiotic irritating phone I have ever had.

If you can use it for an hour and half .Its performance is good.but.The battery drains very quickly.

The only way it may beat the I phone/Samsung I is if you threw one at it, in which case it may explode due to the overheating.

Final verdict- Not worth it.
