Worst phone i ever had
Jan 25, 2016 02:29 AM 2426 Views (via Android App)

Lenovo A6000 is the worst phone that I have ever bought in my entire life.

The most beautiful feature of it is that it easily gets hunged up very soon and the worstest part of it is when phone rings it doesnt show anything on the screen, the speaker keep on ringing the ringtone but nothing in screen leaves me helpless. Never buy it.

Good phone and value for money
Jan 22, 2016 10:48 AM 2742 Views (via Android App)

I have bought this phone 6-7 moths ago and it has showed very less problems ever since I got it. The sound of the speakers is satisfactory according to my need. This is very cheap according to the features it has. I can run apps easily without mych hanging of the phone. It is slim and handy that I can easily hold it in my hand with comfort and also it has very good touch. This phone runs smoothly. If anyone want to a buy a phone with less budget and good perfirmance I recommend that you buy this phone.

Good smartphone at great price
Jan 22, 2016 06:35 AM 2731 Views (via Android App)

When I purchase this smartphone I think it to be of low quality cheap Chinese smartphone. But when I unbox it I am surprised to see the smartphone. It's beyond my expectations.

It is good smartphone with great performance. But battery is not that great but I can say ok. Lollipop upgrade is also good. I am happy with gaming of it yeah it heats some time but that's not overheating. Ram is little bit less but ok some. The phone sometime gets slow but that happens with every smartphone after some time

Value for money
Jan 22, 2016 03:07 AM 2198 Views

The phone lenovo A6000 Plus has simply surpassed my expectations. It is worth every penny that I Have spent. Regarding the technical specifications this phone outshines any other phone in the below 8000 range.

What more can you expect of a phone in this range. It is not wise comparing the phone with high end phones if performance is the value that is to delivered then it has done well in the market place.

I reccomend all to go for this phone.

I updated my lenovo a6000 to lollipop I am facing one issue that is battery backup is not up to mark compared to kitkat.

Otherwise the phone is very good .so I reset the mobile after lollipop update and now I am not facing any hanging problem . performance is very smooth . only one problem is that battery backup is not so good.

This was my first lenovo brand smartphone that I have buyed and it was quite good.

It has 5inches 1280* 720 pixles which is a 720p display and its viewing is also good.

But it has low internal storage which is only 8gb but you can add external sd card upto 32gb and you can set default storage to extrnal sd caed which means what ever you install all the apps games will be installed on sd card.i only like this features of every lenovo phones.

Its loud speaker is just awesome it too loud and clear.

The handsome and reliable
Jan 18, 2016 01:26 AM 3068 Views

A phone should be something to flaunt and Lenovo A6000 is a handsome phone with good performance. Though it may feel like blak and white film to some user but still its sleek simple design is quite attractive.

Lets see it's positive aspects and the deal breakers

The positives

  1. As already mentioned this is a good looking phone

  2. 5 inch HD display is good enough for viewing photos movies and surfing internet

  3. Dual speakers are loud enough

  4. Camera is decent for both still and video

  5. Call quality and network reception is top notch

  6. Battery life is very good, enough for more than a day with moderate to heavy usage

  7. Ability to store apps in external memory card

Deal breakers

  1. The memory - 1gb RAM, 8 GB internal memory not enough now, better to go with A6000 Plus for only 500/- extra

  2. Though dual speakers are provided, but sound cracks at higher volume

  3. Video recording limited to 720P only, not acceptable nowadays

  4. No screen protection like Gorilla Glass or Dragon trail glass

  5. Build could have been better, not much sturdy

Final verdict - It is a good budget phone, but better options are available now. Prior to A6000 plus it was a good option but now better to go with A6000 plus, or any other competitive phone. It cannot be classified as a bad phone, still a good phone to buy.

Very Good Phone
Jan 15, 2016 06:58 PM 2663 Views

While considering the price factor of Rs 6999, it is quite a good phone.both rear & front cameras are good, Front Camera is given 2 mega pixels & rear Camera is given 8 mega pixel, camera app have many options too, display is nice 720 & vibrant so easy to watch things in sunlight, less weight so easy to hold(in comparison to other 5" devices), very nice speaker volume I must say, full hd videos are playing easily, colour reproduction in videos is good, but it would be better if you have better earphones. Dolby Digital Sound gives you awesome Sound quality. The Bettery Backup is too Much Good on 2g Network, its Provided 2300 mah Battery.

just waiting for the red back cover to come in the market.

Nice phone but more cool options are available now
Jan 14, 2016 02:20 PM 2742 Views

Lenovo A6000 was pretty good phone when it was launched, but now we have many more cool options availble in market. I've used this phone for like 7 to 8 months.

The phone looks cool and has pretty cool performance. I'm not giving the review in detail like mentioning pros and cons because I would definitely not recommend anyone to purchase this phone now. But still if your budget is very low and looking for some second hand and if you are getting this phone within 5k, then you can definately go for this phone.

The phone looks cool, I like the design, very light weight. Performance wise also it is very good as it has 2gb of RAM. Camera gives very good pictures, picture quality won't dissatisfy you. Overall phone is very very good.

If you are looking to buy new phone, then I would recommend you to wait for someday for xiomi redmi 3 to come. As the specification of the phone is very cool as per its price point of view. It may be priced between 7000rs to 7500rs in India. Its been already launched in china few days back, and may be it will available in India by February.

Laggy mobile
Jan 13, 2016 08:54 AM 1932 Views (via Android App)

The touch of this lenovo phone is really very bad.

It's like we have to hit the mobile to have touch response.

Being 2300 mah battery it's not giving battery backup of even 5 hours also. It had only 1gb ram. The picture quality and video quality is not good

Best Rs. 6999 ever spent on mobile
Jan 12, 2016 12:12 AM 1832 Views

4G phone with surprisingly good camera, slim and above average looks, what else do you want from a smartphone which is priced so competitively(just Rs.6999).

I am not one of those who buy high end expensive phones with the features that they don't know what to do with.It has been almost 6 months now and the phone is functioning fine.

By'fine', I mean that I have not faced any problems with the handset and yet to see the lenovo service center(hopefully don't get to see it ever).

The Problem is with the in box accessories.

Headphones seems cheap like those Chinese headphones you see on roadside vendors. The charger is not very good quality either but it does the job fine.

TIP: Do not update the phone to lollipop otherwise some problems like slow, lags, hanging might persists. These problems after updating occurs because of it's RAM which is 1 GB and it is not recommended to run Lollipop in Smartphones less than than 2 GB.

Lenovo A6000 is the country's cheapest 4G LTE-capable device at this time. The phone also packs in a lot of features, giving competition to the likes of the Xiaomi Redmi 1S and Asus ZenFone 4. We used the phone for more than a week to find out if it's a good buy.

Build & design

Lenovo A6000 doesn't look very different from other Android smartphones available at this price. It essentially sports the same rectangular form factor combined with rounded corners and a plastic shell, which we've seen in phones such as the Redmi 1S.

If you want your phone to stand out from the rest of the crowd, you can swap the phone's black back panel and choose a red or white one. The back panels will be available separately. Other than that, the phone has a very utilitarian design.

The phone is pleasantly lightweight which makes it easy to lug around. The front of the phone is dominated by a 5-inch HD screen. The three capacitive touch navigation buttons are placed right below the display and were pretty responsive. Unfortunately, the keys are not backlit.

A 2MP front-facing camera is placed right above the display next to the earpiece. The right edge of the phone houses the volume rocker and power keys. Both of the keys offer good tactile feedback and were responsive. The left and bottom edges are barren while the top sports the 3.5mm headset jack as well as the micro-USB port.

The back cover wraps around the front panel and hides the 2300mAh battery ( removable) , two micro sim card slots and a microSD card slot. The back panel sports a matte finish and offers a good grip. The 8MP camera lens and LED flash are placed towards the upper portion of the back. Kudos to Lenovo for not being stingy and including accessories such as earphones, charger and even a screen protector in the box.

Display

The phone features a 5-inch IPS HD ( 720x1920p) display which offers good viewing angles and vibrant colours. Sunlight legibility was also good but the only issue we faced was that the display is prone to smudging. It doesn't feature Gorilla Glass protection so it's better to use a screen protector ( included in the box) . The touch was also reasonably responsive.

Software

The A6000 comes with a heavily customized version of Android 4.4 KitKat. Lenovo deploys its own UI skin to offer enhanced features and customization options.

Just like Xiaomi's MiUI and Huawei Honor 6, the phone's default UI is devoid of an app drawer and app icons and widgets are spread across the home screens. The unified home screen-app launcher style may come across as user-friendly to people who have not used an Android phone before. But it will take some time to get used to if you have already been using an Android smartphone. You can of course download and install an alternate launcher.

The phone also comes with two themes each of which comes with a different set of icons, wallpapers, font style, sounds, and lock screen styles. There's no way to download or install new themes but existing ones can be customized.

The software does not include any stock Android app and everything including the Gallery, Calculator, Calendar and Email apps are built by Lenovo's software team. The apps look beautiful and offer additional value added features.

Lenovo bundles a large number of apps with the A6000 including a Security app, its SyncIt, CloneIt and ShareIt apps, Guvera music streaming app, Route 66 navigation, WPS Office, UC Browser, Txtr eBooks app and a number of Gameloft games. Thankfully, the third party apps can be uninstalled to free up storage space.

Overall, we feel the software tries to maintain the balance between customization and functionality and has been optimized for the phone's hardware. However, stock Android fans may find it a little intimidating.

Camera

Lenovo A6000 sports an 8MP rear camera ( with auto focus and LED flash) and a 2MP front facing camera.

The phone features Lenovo's own camera app that offers settings for all optical attributes, HDR ( inclu
