It is very bad phone very very bad why they make a phone like this.

3.5 inch display oh very bad.

320×480p display very bad picture quality.

1GHz is a good thing but I don't know how much core.

256mb ram what can we do with that.

3mp camera for what.

Front camera .3mp what can I say about this.

Very bad battery( 1500mh) what can we do with this battery.

I don't see any bad smart phone like that it is really bad.

Is it Android unbilivable oh very very bad mobile any one can'buy this.

Today I will say you on karon a1

This is a nice company but a karon a1 is very bad phone I'm a gadget guru people call me as guruji of gadget

Because I m do all test in all gadget and suggest a good gadget for use

And I will also check karbon a1 .

It have not so good look and specification also.

I m using this phone for 6 hours but after using 6 hours it will be hang.

So much hanging problem and also a bettery drain quick

If you install a more than 15 application it will be restart automatically and also get heat.

I thing this is very bad phone and horrible phone .

Plz do not use this handset choose another for better satisfaction

I purchased a Karbonn A1+ smart phone (IMEI no. 911123201137781) on 30.10.12 from Intouch care, CR Park, New Delhi. I found that the battery was getting drained very fast and it took hours to charge even when there was no usage and the phone was kept in idle mode. Eg., I kept the phone for 2 hrs when it showed 66% power and after 2 hrs of charging still it showed 67% power. Just 1% charged in 2hrs. I highlighted this issue to the Karbon customer care on 31.10.12 and waited for 10 days. No response.

Not even an acknowledgment !

I re-sent the application again to these guys and am still waiting, no response yet. This is the worst ever experience of a "after sales service" of any company in my life. In today's day and age when companies go an extra mile to listen to customers, it seems so weird that karbonn chooses not to even respond to mails. Companies like these bring bad name to India and Indian companies in general. I guess it would be better if Karbonn stops sponsoring cricket matches and focuses more on its product development and training of staff.

Karbonn A 1 is an Android Froyo phone with 2.8 inch touchscreen. The phone has 3.2 MP camera with motion sensor and is capable of recording videos. It has 3G, Wi-Fi, GPRS, EDGE, and USB connectivity. I own the Karbonn A1 and its a good phone for Rs.4350/- on some of the online websites. The battery dies in about 2 days with average talktime and Internet usage. One needs to kill background applications to make the battery last longer. the screen display is very good and the graphics quality is awesome. The sound though is not too pleasing Rajeev_Vermacially at higher volumes and tends to crackle. the camera is good with 3.2 MP without flash and outdoor photography is marvellous while indoors the camera tends to lag a lot. The market place has several software to download and mostly free. The 3 G capability is good though I have not yet tried it on the long run as Loop Mobile does not provice 3G facilities yet. The EDGE technology over GPRS is good for high speed internet connectivity and the phone can be used to become a HOTSPOT when one does not have a Wi-Fi connectivity for their laptops or TABS.

The built-in Wi-Fi is great however the phone switches to Power Saving mode several times therefore the Wi-Fi connection needs to be reconnected often.

Its a single SIM GSM phone and operates on an Android 2.2.2 Froyo OS, with 4GB NAND and 2 GB DDR Ram. the processor is little underpowered @ 600 MHz(ARM processor) comparing to its counterparts at 700MHz.+

Touchscreen is good however resistive over capacitive is a bit of a pain until you get used to it. The G-Sensor function works well and gives a better keyboard QWERTY feel when held horizontal. the swipe feature of the keyboard is an added advantage and predictive typing makes it easier to type longer sentences and words and correct mistakes much easier than other touch phones.

Overall a good phone for Android lovers and a great entry level Android phone. Its very pocket friendly and the retails for around Rs.4000+ websites like Saholic, Ebay, Letsbuy etc.
