Yaa its the first blackberry android phone.

Nevertheless I will give my frank opinion.

First of all the build quality is just disgusting.

Everywhere there us cracking sound.

Socoming to customization, here blackberry had done a good job.

They haf mantain a stock look with things like blackberry hub etc.

Notifications setup is also good.

Moreover the external keyboard can be used as a touchpad.

Comimg to camera, here blackberry had done a joke.

The shutterspeed is extremely slow and the front facing camera is just good as in its absence.so its not a good phone for 50k

Prise is very very very high.

Couple of months back we were so energized for BlackBerry Priv simply because it should be their returned into the business sector with old sliding configuration and physical console stuff, And it was their first cell phone that runs Android OS. Be that as it may, what we got? Simply one more telephone with an Okayish construct quality, extremely poor 2MP front confronting camera( I mean would you say you are joking me?), Average Battery life, not in any manner optimized chipset which heatup up.

Also, when I utilized the physical console for like 3-4 time, all my energy left since now I'm so used to of onscreen console that writing on physical console appeared to be worthless and now I locate this physical console thing only a contrivance to get consideration

No Matter What Blackberry Loves Keypad & So I
Mar 13, 2016 02:49 AM 3962 Views

I'd say this phone more likely to me a Revolution because the built of this phone I read about this phone very long time ago at that time I was not aware of the specs and now the specifications are here i'd say its a deal that grabs eye.

I Love Slide Phones.

They got a classic feel, Priv comes with slide as well and you can roll up your fingers to it will work as trackpad of keyboard, It has QHD Display makes it very beautiful

However I am a littlebit disappointed with back it should be more like Z5 Premium.

18 MP Rear cam image samples are Impressive but not overwhelming and when it comes to performance this phone has enough memory to run any game or heavy apps.

Style+Power

Price makes it  least affordable

Mar 12, 2016 06:11 PM 3326 Views

This product is launched by Blackberry on 30 January, 2016 that Priv is very nice phone. It is a new model of blackberry. Generally everyone cannot use this brand easily. A light difficult comes during use this. It is not for everyone. Apart from this it comes with many nice features that is very nice. It is a malty user phone and also nice for gaming and official uses. It has 3 GB RAM by this it will not hang soon.

It has 18 MP primary camera with dual tone LED flash. But its front camera is not good it is only of 2 MP. Others features are nice. I like and choose this brand for its nice features.

Priv the Weirdo!
Feb 22, 2016 01:40 AM 3879 Views

We have seen a lot of phones in 2015 and 2016 but not anything like priv.

This is such a weird phone in the market, Weird in good sense because I had seen many reviews of this phone. Everybody kinda like it but not willing to buy this is because we are so adjusted to the phones which we have today.

Introduction to the phone, We can call it as an android phone with a curved screen QWERTY slider by Blackberry. Do you know what it means, It means everything. This is such a crazy phone which really has the tech we wanted and also diversified hardwares which has immense function to it.

Obviously this phone is the last chance for BlackBerry folks to get into the market. But in my opinion this hangs a lot and that is not expected from a high end smartphones and if they reduce the price then we can think about.

Black berry with Android OMG!!!!
Feb 15, 2016 08:02 PM 3972 Views

This may have seemed a bit like shock to many of the black berry fans or the android fans but yes this is true.

Since Blackberry didn't find much space in market for selling their products they finally managed to show the mobile market that they could at last leave their own OS and finally adopt the ANDROID for the sake of the company.

But sadly this failed Experiment is just a try and the try is not that good either. IT has many very interesting features but the prices are raised so very high.

This is another very failed device from blackberry.

With the 3 gb ram you feel like cheated for paying 63k of buck to blackberry

The camera on Back is some odd number of 18MP which does it's incredible play very good but the front disappoints you the most. How would you feel like when you are hanging out with friend and one of them asks you to click a selfie of all of you and then the camera deceives you with is 2MP camera which just doesn't belongs to this device.

The Display with 2k AMOLED display and the energy efficient Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor the 3410 mAh battery just ruins your day by not even allowing you to have a full long day with your device.

The sliding QWERT panel which can be used as touch panelis a great innovation but isn't the company asking some hard bucks for such technology which is already at the verge of extinction.

You should have watched the CEO handling the phone in his hand when he didn't even know how to use this device and was showing it to the customers at their booth and he was just fondling over there and didn't know what to do. He didn't know how to operate Android and was opening anything the finger touched the phone showed so much lag over there and the whole scene was so embarrassing.

Blackberry blew their chance of comeback.
Feb 11, 2016 06:22 PM 3385 Views (via Android App)

Few months back we were so excited for BlackBerry Priv only because it was supposed to be their come back into the market with old sliding design and physical keyboard stuff, And it was their first smartphone that runs Android OS.

But what we got? Just another phone with an Okayish build quality, very poor 2MP frint facing camera( I mean are you kidding me?), Average Battery life, not at all optiomized chipset which heatup up. And when I used the physical keyboard for like 3-4 time, all my excitement went away because now I'm so used to of onscreen keyboard that typing on physical keyboard seemed wothless and now I find this physical keyboard thing just a gimmick to get attention.

Although screen looks vibrant,  back camera is decent enough, software is very safe and secured( Only thing that may attract some people who want safe phones), but I don't think it is worth spending 60, 000 rupees.

They should have come with a budget kind of phone into the market which was done by Motorola with Moto G. By that way, they could get much more success.

Loyalists Blackberry Priv

An Android phone from blackberry for business people, through this mobile they can get entire security, a physical keypad, advantages of the largest app ecosystem.

The body design is entirely clean to use which may not need skin case and very grip. Memory is awesome and having wireless charging as well as quick charging. Battery life and the screen quality is pretty good. Certain features has developed from the combination of android and black berry, lot of different apps and features. The best black berry phone ever but an average android, worth for business users.

All About Blackberr Priv
Feb 04, 2016 01:11 PM 3143 Views

Blackberry is one of the best Smartphone Brand all over the world . BlackBerry Priv launched in India in years 2015. That time it is very new in Market and now Blackberry is Very Popular because of its Porsche and Passport Model.

The camera quality is very Good And Resolution is very nice. Camera have so many options such as Panorama, Time shift, burst etc.Video Quality is very nice and Story Maker option can be used to create beautiful Videos. Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Foursquare Apps are Preinstalled . You can easily restore your phone to Factory Settings Just by Wiping the the data Blackberry protect helps you to find your lost phone and also delete your data when it has lost. Calendar, Docs to go, Calculator Applications are Very Useful and User friendly.

Blackberry is Well known for its Security and blackberry never compromise with security, I recommend BlackBerryPriv for one who wants High Performance, wants to use Android Applications  as well as BlackBerry Applications and one who use its phone for writing purpose.

Blackberry Priv
Jan 09, 2016 11:53 AM 4260 Views

BlackBerry Priv is a risky and costly venture - acknowledging the irony of saying that about a device, which is both superbly equipped and tightly secured.

Hopefully, for BlackBerry's sake, the Priv will meet the expectations it set for itself and go down as a visionary, not an anomaly. Before we start exploring it though, we simply feel compelled to stop and let its marvelous ambivalence sink in.

A curved screen QWERTY slider by BlackBerry that runs Android, are we getting this right? We double checked and the Priv is just as exciting as it is unique. Honestly, it is one of those things many may've fantasized about but nobody actually believed would happen. It's also probably the last chance for BlackBerry to try and turn things around.

Overpriced!
Jan 05, 2016 12:27 AM 4223 Views (via Android App)

Blackberry has been vastly affected in market share and providing good smartphone experience, since the market is dominated by iOS and Android few did cared to take a look at blackberry. The Priv is the company's first Android phone and it is a flagship,  but is it worthy of spending a whopping 50, 000 on sort-of a newly renovated brand with an experiment.

Well the answer lies in the phone itself,  let's talk about why this phone costs this much.

Firstly the hardware which is the most important part of flagship,  the Priv has a snapdragon 808 processor which is not the best one in the market. It has got 3GB Ram which is enough for the current demands. Also the rear camera on the phone is pretty decent,  with 18MP sensor with OIS and a mediocre 2MP front facing camera . The phone packs a non removable 3410MAh battery which is just sufficient for a full day use.

The Blackberry Priv has a unique design though,  with a typical blackberry flavour since there is a hidden hardware keyboard which you can access by sliding the screen upwards. The keyboard doubles up as a track pad.

Security is the primary concern when it comes to Blackberry and this phone does perform well in that aspect. You have android lollipop with a few blackberry tweaks,  the blackberry hub is there. Also there are a lot of customization options in the settings menu.

Let's now give a final verdict. The Priv is an awesome Blackberry  phone but it's NOT THAT AWESOME that you may spend 50k on it.

Does the phone doesn't keeps up to the competition?  Actually no. If it had been launched a year ago then it would be a great buy but it is simply lacking in performance and technology when the current smartphone industry is way ahead. For instance you can a Note 5 for a cheaper price with Better screen,  better camera,  better battery,  better performance among others. So I would say only to go for the Priv if you are a die hard fan of blackberry and if want a flagship android experience then you've got other better options.

First Android Smartphone from Blackberry!
Dec 04, 2015 12:20 AM 4186 Views

Blackberry released this smartphone in October. It still has a full QWERTY keypad which has touch-sensitivity that provides many gestures and predictive text functionality .

I have been waiting for this smartphone for a really long time and here are some important features that you might want to know about:

Screen

It is one of the brightest and most vivid displays I've ever used .The edge on both sides really looks amazing and provides a productivity tab that gives a quick glance at hub and battery indicator .

Battery

The battery is very good and could easily last for one day with heavy multitasking .

Storage

The device has 32gb in-built storage that supports MicroSD cards upto 2TBs. The Snapdragon 808 processor is paired with 3gb ram that provides great perfomance!

Camera

The 18 megapixel camera with optical image stabilization is a beast . I saw that the shutter speed is a bit slow . The 4k recording provides very nice and clear videos .

Final Verdict:

The Priv is the phone that Blackberry fans have been waiting for . I absolutely love the physical keyboard, paired with spacious beautiful screen and access to all android apps .The price is a little high but it's worth it.

Better late than never
Sep 28, 2015 04:01 PM 7900 Views

I just wanted to do a quick review on the blackberry priv (venice) which is just launched in the global market.

The Canadian origin blackberry has been into market for years and had its mark with the blackberry curve and the blackberry classic .

One of the best options which everybody wanted when in blackberry classic and curve era was the bb(blackberry) messenger service which was unique and one of the major reasons for people opting for bb.The entire bb platform (os) was what people liked and with the advent of Z10 blackberry os had found a new avatar.

But the biggest leap is the launch of the android smartphone called the Priv with 18meg rear and 5mp front camera. With a 5.4 inch screen and with 1.8ghz hexa core processor it would be power packed to face the competition .

But the best part is the slider querty keyboard which this phone comes with which would also attract somebody who is not that  touch savvy as goes with 42% of crowd who still prefer the hard querty keyboards. With android blackberry has made the move they should have done few years back but better late than never. Powered by android this would be one phone people would have their eyes on . One of the major drawbacks with blackberry phone before this has been that they cannot provide the bounty of apps however this phone should not have that issue .
