Recent developement shows that India has lot more threat from inside terrorism than external. Previously after blast or attack intelligent agencies use to blame ISI, HuJi or LeT but now a days they are suspecting insiders like Indian Mujahideens, SIMI, Abhinav Bharat, Naxals etc etc. This trend might have helped external terror entities as these terror groups are performing their work from inside. How can we tackle such a situation where enemies are within? India has to take serious note of this issue but instead of fighting seriously against Terrorism our Netas are busy to cash on this sensitive issue. BJP is always opposing Terrorism of all forms and it was the one who stood to bring POTA. BJP never left an opportunity to blame government UPA of not fighting enough against terrorism. But the same BJP never prtotested against violence against Christians in Orissa, Karnataka or Kerala. Instead of opposing terrorism BJP is communilising this issue by supporting the Malegaon Suspects. After an army officer's involvement we don't know who else is behind these blasts. Television more so that any of the other medias achieves a myriad of different goals. These goals range from entertaining to educating. Various confines of education and entertainment are depicted in television. Recent trends show us entire media's goal is to earn money and lots of money. Television shows what sells. Newspaper prints what sells. There are very rare number of televisions, newspapers or any other medias who are following the ethics of media. This is very saddening developement. Television companies desgin their shows on TRP basis. Newspapers also have lost their credibility. Times Of India is best example for how commercial the media is. Its first page will always be having some kind of ad which will catch your eyes. They say its creative advertisement. I have never seen Times Of India without a semi nude picture of a Hollywood actress or model. TIO is filled with lots of masala. Other newspapers are forced to follow TOI to stay in market. If you hate to watch Ekta Kapoor's soaps on Star Plus and go to Star News you will find news on these SOAPS there. Why should news channels show what is happening in serials? don't they get other news to show? I think we have enough topics. If Amitabh Bachan's goes to hospital then you will find the news rolling all over the media, but thousands of middle class and poor people have thousands of problems and media has no time slot to focus on that. These news channels and Newspapers declare the suspects as Criminals, I don't know who gave them these rights. No media follows the story till end. Bajaj XCD is Exceeding my Patience limit!

Hi all, I am writing this diary as I cannot post another review on Bajaj XCD bike( I dont know why MS does not allow us to post multiple reviews on the same product/service?). I purchased Bajaj XCD on 12th December 2007 by thinking it will atleas... Hi all, I am writing this diary as I cannot post another review on Bajaj XCD bike( I dont know why MS does not allow us to post multiple reviews on the same product/service?). I purchased Bajaj XCD on 12th December 2007 by thinking it will atleast rescue me from these crowdy BMTC buses. This bike has given lot of trouble to me. By now I have submitted 3 complaints to Bajaj customer care. Everytime I submit a complaint they will arrange service people to attend my problem. In this regard Bajaj is very good as they atleast listen to our trouble. But the service people are worst! they have such a unskilled people, to solve one problem they would introduce few more new troubles for you. It was another long day of Ramadan fasting. I wanted to reach home early so that I can get ready for prayer and to end fasting. On old madras road near big bazaar my bike stopped suddenly. I tried lot to start it but unfortunately nothing worked. I started pushing it to find any service station on the way. My luck hit such a bad stroke that there was not a single Bajaj service station on Old Madras road. People would see me and show mercy on me. Few good guys stopped and offered me help. One guy asked me if I need petrol. This shows that we still have few human beings in Bangalore! At last one guy came pushed my bike till we found one local mechanic in ulsoor. My bike was a new object for the mechanic and he started experimenting with it. He dismantled the gearbox and found that the Dynamo has came out and connector wires are cut so no current is generating and hence bike is not starting up! Okay.....I just wanted my bike to start so that I can take it to my home and dump it. Somehow it got ready by 8pm. After 15 days, my bike has went into Coma stage again. This time I complained to Bajaj again. As usual they listened to my problem and they took my bike to their service station. Now I am waiting for to see what they will see. Today they will deliver it and I am not sure if the problem is solved perfectly as the bke itself is not perfect. Last week was very worst week for me and I want to share that with you all. Okay, lets get on the topic now; Saturday my brother came to the city for his CET seat selection and I had to take him to the CET cell Malleshwaram from Kormangala. The selection process completed by 12.00 noon and we started back to home. As I was fasting on the eve of Ramadan I wanted to rush home as early as possible and take some rest. Everything was smooth enough until Queens Circle near the Stadium. As the traffic lights were off and road was calm I though there is no traffic at this time and took free left and to my surprise I caught by the Traffic Police. He told me that there is no free left and I have to pay fine. I asked me where is traffic signal showing? and why the police did not ask me to stop? the answer was quite simple. That day some VIP's were rushing towards some even(I guess the one BJP organised) and every where I see white coloure police shouting at people! Common people are standing on long ques onone side and one side road is empty for VIP's to come! People were honking for no response from the police. The traffic police took my Driving License and rushed to the Circle as some VIP vehicles arrived with blinking lights. I was waiting there for more than one hour and he did not see towards me. Inbetween I use to go near him and he used to send me back and asked me to wait. He returned back when the VIP vehicles stoped coming and he asked "now you might came to know what work we do?""Yes I know for whome you work!" I said in myself. I thought after making me waiting for more than hour, he wont ask me to pay but he took 100 Rs fine and I asked him is this fair to make people waiting for hours for those VIP's? He replyed "People can stand for hours but VIP's should not be late for a minute and if they are late I may go to home!". I gave money and came back to home to take some rest and next day I read that an Youth was manhandled for trespassing during VIPs were moving on road(reported on Bangalore Mirror). Read More

Cricket vs Olympics!!!!

Year 2008 is India's golden year in Olympics so far. We won 1 gold and 2 bronze medals. Really it was very proud moment for all of us. We should salute the guys who made this possible! question is, will this enthusiasm of Olympic sports live long... Year 2008 is India's golden year in Olympics so far. We won 1 gold and 2 bronze medals. Really it was very proud moment for all of us. We should salute the guys who made this possible! question is, will this enthusiasm of Olympic sports live long? I mean will our focus now shifts from Cricket to the Olympic games? We have to accept that Indians are not that good in Olympics compared to Cricket. Someone said Cricket is India's common religion. I agree, we all are addicted to the gentleman's game that we do not have time to look at other games. If we compare the number of countries play cricket and number of countries take part in Olympics the we should realize that we are too behind others. So much money is involved in Cricket that it has become a corporate affair now! Everyone wants to cash on cricket. IPL is really good example how commercial the cricket is. So much hype for the cricket. This is the time for us to think and do something to increase our rank in next Olympics. I have noted few points where we need attention. 1. Whenever I see schools and colleges in Bangalore I really feel bad that there are very few schools with enough playground. If children's do not play in their primary and secondary education then how can we expect them to compete in future and get gold medals for us? There should be some norm, no school should be allowed without playground and Physical Education teachers. I studied in rural area and we had enough space and time to play. I think its a problem with all the big cities. 2. Government and private institutes should organize sports events for all kind of sports that are played in Olympics. We should encourage people who are good in sports. 3. Government should open more Sports Schools and encourage people to join them. 4. Media should also cover all the sports events as they cover Cricket. Media should encourage people in sports other than cricket. Newspapers, TV channels, Internet are all filled with Cricket news but we will see other sports news in nooks and corners. There may be plenty other ways to improve our Sports Power.
