Fit and finish: The first thing that struck me as I un-boxed my new Vaio was that it is a very handsome machine. This computer is not for Rocket Boys - it has a distinctly adult look to it. The lid is dark, almost pewter-toned brushed aluminum with the deeply engraved Vaio insignia. The inside deck is hard gray plastic that closely matches the exterior aluminum in color and texture. The hinges have a solid, high quality feel, just enough resistance. The Vaio was completely free of dust, fingerprints, scratches, gaps, misalignments and rough edges, with one exception: the upper left quadrant of the keyboard was not completely seated into the deck. A little finger pressure around the edge of the keyboard and it literally snapped into place.

The trend among higher-end laptops these days is toward a seamless machine, one that appears to have been carved out of a single block of aluminum. This is not one of those machines - it is made of many pieces of plastic and metal but they all fit together well and look great.

Keyboard: All of the keys worked well, they have a softer and shallower touch than I am used to but the feel is just fine. I don't use the touchpad so I can't comment on that. The keyboard backlight is quite bright with no brightness adjustment. The control panel menu offers several options for the backlight - on all the time, off all the time or it will turn on when you touch any key and turn off after 15 seconds of no activity ( my preference) . It is a little brighter than I am used to but lighted keys are essential so, once again, no problem.

Display: I really like the display. Colors are rich and accurate ( reds are deep red, blues are true blue) . The screen is plenty bright for me. Script is sharp and clear. The screen is glossy which helps to ensure a vibrant picture but also reflects ambient lighting so I wouldn't advise outdoor use. I belong to a tiny minority that believes 1080P is too many pixels for a 15 screen - everything, especially script, gets very small with full HD. 720P works just fine for me. The new Intel HD 4000 graphics are also a major improvement over the older 3000 version.The 4000 control panel offers more picture quality adjustments and ( most importantly) allows you to save a list of presets for various uses such as browsing, streaming, DVD, etc.

The more affordable and better-performing Sony Vaio the midpriced EB series, look great and include some high-end features. We just wish the CPU had been updated for the sake of better battery life.Sony makes some of the best-looking multimedia laptops out there, is a good reminder that Sony is one of the few brands that comes close to Apple on design and polish.this is ultrabook-as-budget-laptop, not ultrabook as high-end computer.

I have sony vaio laptop there is very good sound and volume for songs. it is easy to use open laptop press power button it will start a minute .

its keyboard is very flexible buttons and of white colur in white laptop and black color in black laptops.

its main source to buy is its price is less than lenovo and other laptops which have less features than sony and not so good look .

You do not have to worry about the seed while browsing anything or opening of the applications.It has a Intel HM65 Express Chipset which makes it most advanced from its predecessors.It comes with 4gb RAM which can be later upgraded to 8gb if needed.500 gb harddisk storage was enough for me to store the data.I can play an game without any issue. As the video card is best with the ull caability and the performance.The overall quality of this product is really nice.It will not slide from the hand becouse of the rough patches on the upper surface.This sleek laptop also features an HDMI port to digitally output HD quality videos by connecting to Home Theatre Systems. The laptop flaunts a super slim profile, an ergonomic design and weighs 2.7 kg. Sony does provide a good service.

It is very handy and easy to use as it has plenty of features like if u need to format, simply by pressing "ASSIST"  button it well start formatting automatically and recovered all essential windows driver and software. Quality is good. if I talk about it's durability it is amazing as I purchase my laptop in 2011 august, still it is working smoothly. That time it's cost was 43000/- approx. Means it little high in price but still affordable for me. Overall-all it's best. if you are planing to buy laptop u must go for it. But It's customer support for technical issues are open between 9:00 am to 7:30 pm only .
