Microsoft Surface Pro Core i5 7th Gen M1796 2 in 1 Laptop

Being an ardent fan of Microsoft products, I bought a Microsoft surface pro 4 laptop on 10/8/2017 (Serial no. 030754261553) from Amazon India. Immediately after expiry of warranty of one year, it started showing screen flicker problem. When I browsed the Internet I learnt that Microsoft had initiated a replacement offer for lap tops with screen flicker issue. When I contacted Microsoft, they asked me to dispose it safely as there was no service in India. It was bought with my hard earned money. So I am still using the product. It is a big embarrassment in office when I have to use it for presentations. My wife says sticking with the device Will do more harm to my eyes. Now the keyboard has also stopped working Even now when I tried to contact Microsoft they say service is not available. I tried different addresses still no response.

It’s my earnest request to all customers not to go for Microsoft laptops in India.

Review: Microsoft took a long to launch the surface pro in India, and its extremely nice product here thanks to its high price.The company has also long time taken a long time to refresh the lineup here and the fifth -gen surface pro which distribute in the USA may last year made it to India only this February.It faces off against a number of brand new ultraportable laptop and 2-in-1s from all the major manufacturer.Will Microsoft's formula work in India, Where cost is a huge factor in people's buying decision.

Design; Not much has changed since the Surface Pro first debuted.The concept of a tablet with a kickstand and detachable keyboard cover is deeply associate with the Surface Pro, even though we, ve see many other companies use the basic idea all sort of tablets including extremely low cost ones.The body of the Surface Pro is made of light gray metal and overall quit minimalist.The screen has ratio 3:2 which is great for reading and productivity in both landscape and portrait orientation.The tablet alone is 8.3mm thick and weight varies slightly between 0.76 kg and 0.78 depending in which variant you choose.The Type cover will add 5mm and 310g of those figures respectively.Core i5 -7300U process, which has two cores with Hyper-Threading and runs at up to 3.5GHz in bursts we also have 8GB of RAM and 256GB PCle SSD. The Microsoft Surface Pro isnt too different from its predecessor .it doesn't need to be ultraportable design does not sacrifice computing power which will be appealing to sum but keep in mind we need to purchase the keyboard separately and the lack of USB C port may leave it its usefulness. the Surface Pro is the first in portable Windows 10 PC but if you haven't used tablet laptop combo like this before it's a good idea to play with one in a Store first to see if you prefer it over traditional laptop.

The Surface Pro is sleek lightweight tablet body is between 770 gram and 784 gram depending on model and oestrous 8. 5 mm thick

the surface pen is also recommended to get the most out of the tablet whether you are using it for drawing on handwriting making up documents on anything that benefits from higher precision then just using a the mounting magnets stick to the side with surprising firmness it never came lose while we were carrying it around in a backpack or satchel.

that 1. 3 inch touch screen has a resolution of 27 36 into 18 24 pixels which is not only higher than full HD 1080 p also beats the next common standard from that Quad HD.

This laptop is usually very slim and clean made it has a keyboard which are used as laptop when the tablet and keyboard is a tell it look like a clean slate designed computer which is very very featured and when the keyboard is removed it look like a very skinny sleep tablet I really loved this product really good

Price of its start with 74k to 230k

It's has a good battery life

U can use Microsoft touch pen but u don't get it with the laptop

U have to buy it separately at a price of 10k -15k rupee

Also you don't get the keyboard u have to buy it separately

It cost around 15-30k rupee in India

I have been using Microsoft Surface Pro 4 for about 4 months now, and this is my unit which I am using because earlier ones had some hardware issues. So this is my end-user review and I fell that this is a very unique computer but it is not a perfect one and has a lot of issues and I want to highlight those issues. Microsoft Surface Pro 4 can work as a full-fledged computer and also as a Tablet, having a core i5 processor enables all multitasking operations very fluently. But when combined with Windows 10 it becomes a buggy device and therefore it also adds to issues like power management with Intel's latest sky lake processors.

The surface pen is also the real reason why I bought this because I am like old school. I like writing down stuff, so this helps me a lot to write my notes in Onenote. But it lags sometimes like it does not catches what I am trying to write. And it takes about 2-3 days to write it on the screen and the best part is that it has an actual eraser, you just invert it and good to go.

Stand-by life is not great on this device, had power issues, it used to drain a lot of power when kept on stand-by. It also has some screen flickering issues, like when you keep the brightness at lowest, it starts to flicker, which is very annoying. It is a pretty expensive computer, not a cheap one and on adding the keyboard for this which costs about 12, 000 bumps up the price really high.

Overall it is an amazing hybrid tablet, but at times it just goes off my nerves because it is very expensive and when it bugs it pains a lot. It hangs for 10-15 seconds and the virtual keyboard is also not that great. It sometimes doesn't wake up from sleep and had to do a hard reboot which can be an embarrassment at meetings.

Microsoft surface pro 4 awesome running condition however they provide some most attractively features whiCh I want to discover my business . No doubt its the best laptop for the daily driver of the student. Its extremely light weight and powered with intel core i7 6th generation and newer one with the 7th generation too. Its In design it crushes all other laptops. It comes with Microsoft windows pro edition in built with a life time product key. You will get the premium support after buying this from Microsoft. From the price aspect- yes it is expensive, may be you can get a gaming laptop in this price range what so ever its highly priced with what they provide. This laptop will get the most updates officially from microsoft from the drivers aspect. User friendlyness - Yes, It is. Reliability - Yes, no doubt. Value for money - Somewhat for the rich people.

Hardware desing, with wondows 10, Office 365 GOOD.!

Great 2 in 1 device . I bought this for Christmas 2015 and it works great. Windows 10 is a full operating system and this pc can do everything a high-end desktop can do. I mostly use it as a laptop and then a tablet. The detachable keyboard and included stand makes this the best 2 in 1 on the market today. My daughter borrows it for university courses and raves about its power and lightness.!

In my opinion Microsoft surface pro 4 is a great product but most of the people disappointed with it's durability they says the battery drains very fast and sometimes it's keyboard doesn't work well moreover it has a bunch of amazing features.

The style of charge is superb and the thing which is liked by many people is the texture of the keyboard but anyway it's an awesome renovation

Here I will not talk about its ram . Gb . Disk and all that .Here I will write as a non technical personI was an old school person . I used to write on notebook . Now it got a digital notebook thats the good featureBut there some bad points also. Its vertual keyboard is not at all good it hangs for 12 to 20 second . Didnt expect if we are paying a high price . Battery life should be more.It should be atleast 10 hour which is till 6.5 hourDispaly is good with the latest windows 10 .like cortana ( the advance search option ) . Can use as tablet or as laptopRam is fineOverall its a good product but as per its price , it should have been more effective

Overall its a very impressive windows tablet and very expensive too. It was able to handle wide range of tasks with ease. It is not a powerfull gaming machine.so I does not recommanded cause its not good value for money.If you liked this tablet or you have sufficient budget go for this tablet.

If you looking for some convertible type device(laptop and tablet), then it is perfect. Easy to handle and good speed. Superb picture quality during videos and clear pictures.Battery is also good, nor less neither too long. Detachable key board is an asset which makes it handy during travelling. Some ports are less like not able to connect HDMI cable, ETHERNET cable and only 1 USB port. Little bit expensive.

Today I would like to tell about surface pro 4 by microsoft.

I have owned this device for quite a time around 2 months.

PRO's-

Lightweight

Great functionality

Best hybrid on market

Great stylus feature

Good battery life

CON's-

Ram cant be upgraded.

Integrated graphcs are not meant for everything.

Very expensive.

No expandable storage

Keyboard cover sold separately.

Since I do graphic designing and music production it is extremly helpful for me due to its touh screen and stylus. But it is not meant for business people or rendering. It is a daily driver for people like me and those who want things on the go.

RATING's-

Design = 9/10

Functionality = 8/10

Price = 6/10

Overall = 7.5/10

Would I recommend it - Only to those who have money to spend and require it genuinely. As a lot of competitors for a much cheaper price and better features are available in the market.

It is decent tablet I have been using it since December 2015 it has been working well.

There are some bugs which are removed as updates come. This decent tablet replaces your laptop but only when you are willing to pay more . Don't take it wrong it is a premium device which is portable.

It has some decent specs Like it has screen ppi of about 216 has two varient of 4 and 8 GB but I have 8 GB of varient which comes with 256 GB og storage. It has 4th generation Intel Core 64 bit i5 processor which does its work well.
