Extrodinary Worthfull IBM Think pad 240 ....Strong

I am IBM thinkpad 240 last 5 months. Its really very good to use. The specification of IBM tp are very good and cost is also reasonable. The product is good looking and heat produced is less compare to other laptops. The screen resolution is so good. When I installed heavy software in my Old HCL laptop the laptop is hanged and it became very slow.

So I bought IBM TP its really amazing for me. It really working as new even installed softwares. The processor is speed and the outer body cover is very tough. Its not breakable very easily. One time its fallen from bed but even no small damage also.Screen is also more safety. Good rigidity. So We can strongly believe to buy IBM products. I am so impressed by this product.

For me its very good experience to work on it. The keys also so good in quality.Mouse is so smooth . Battery back is more high compare to others. So I strongly believe this product.

• Name of state and city should be prefilled by your script based on ISP location. Also user should be able to change/set state and city name by getting a pop-up(like in leaf page example).

• While typing “product name”, user should be prompted with auto-completion help – like in Google search.

• User should be able to able attach a photo(max 2 MB size).

• All popular image types should be allowed.

• Only image should be allowed.

IBM Celeron R40e

I bought this in December, no problems like crashing, hangups, etc, ofcourse you do not expect anything like that with IBM stuff is it not? But apart from that this laptop irritates me to the core in lot of aspects, which I have pointed out below:

  1. Batteries: A big sore point, it has never lasted more than an hour and half of use in super economy mode itself. The worst part is I cannot find out another spare or extra time or more celled battery online (the local retailer says he does not stock any accessories and also he has not sold any R40e and is not sure what battery is suitable for this).

  2. Ports: It does not have a com port, just 2 USB ports, and the IBM port replicator does not work with this (it is mentioned so in their site) and third part USB to COM port convertor does not work (alas) the customer service says it is a third party solution and they are not sure what to do.

  3. I connect using Reliance internet and every time I have to preplan and open the programs like explorer, outlook express etc before I connect because if I connect and try to open them I will have to wait for anywhere between 2 minutes to eternity. Again, the local retailer does not know what to do and he wants to send the laptop to Banglore (400 kms from where I live) to IBM main office at my risk (!!!).

So, if you want to buy make sure you have a local retailer who is good with service also.
