HP Compaq nx6125 (EM345PA)

This is such a superb laptop. Its a business laptop and has all features. It has wireless blutooth, SD/XD card slots. The laptop also has DVD RW, along with various ports to connect to internet line, audio/Video accesories, TV, Extra HDD Firewire ports etc.

The configuration that I got was also pretty decent according to its price. Remember its a Fully featured one. The Laptop was bought 2.5 years back, and is still working great. so its long life and more stable. Moreover you get all software/driver updates available free from their website. The weight is also ok. The battery life is also great and you get good support.

Shipping of parts is not done in India which is a big concern, however it can be taken to an autorized service provider for testing and repairing.

Another concern is there is no inbuilt webcam.

Was honestly surprised that though HP claims that this model was sold in abundance; no one wrote lines to help save other not get duped by the sad peice of machinery which was finally taken off the line of products.

since the very first day of inception . the machine misbehaved, application, speed, keyboard, resolution, ports .hey did I miss something which was did not ask for repair/assistance.

Finally the motherboard too got replaced.this too didnt effect the ever adamant machine which was said no to any repair and still malfunctions.Dealer raised his hands admitting this is beyond the expertise(who was paid for 3-3-3 support) to add to agony stopped responding to the extent one had to knock HP door.

There commenced another cycle of checking and persuance .

Though after seven months of ordeal and running around finally will receive a relief by the same getting changed by some model which ever performed.

Let 6120 RIP
