When I purchased this laptop in 2008 it was absolutely phenomenal. As the years went by, and different iterations of Windows came out the laptop became slow, a couple upgrades were needed to make it a useable laptop again. I ended up swapping the 2 GB RAM (2x1 GB DDR2 RAM sticks) , to the max allowed which was 3 GB RAM (1x1 GB DDR2, and 1x2 GB DDR2 RAM sticks), the HDD for an SSD, the CPU, it originally had a Intel Centrino Core 2 Duo T5450 at 1.66 Ghz for an Intel Core 2 Duo T8300 at 2.4 Ghz, changed the cells in the battery, upgraded Windows Vista (32 bit edition) to Windows 10 Pro (32 bit edition), and everything is running smoothly again!

I have this laptop since I was a child but I can't say that its performance is not well . This laptop is so amazing I really find this laptop so interesting me and my father is working on this laptop since years . I prefer everyone to try out this laptop . Its prosessor is slow but not tahat much slow . It can run high confrigated games . Movies and many of the software . It is worth buying and it is affordable in price very much I recommend atleast try this laptop then only you will came to know

As laptop is older by 7to8 yrs its performance is really bad, it cant even run 3d games and use of this laptop is just to store images and videos, it cant even play youtube videos with 480p

Hello , I am going to review on "HP Compaq C700" laptop , ai have used a pretty large number of different laptops but I can assure you that this is one the worst laptop I have ever used , really poor . The performance of the laptop is very disappointed , the processor is pretty slow . It's technology is totally outdated when we compare with today's scenario . You can't even think to play high quality games on this laptop , this will gonna crash . It runs for only 2 to 3 hours and during that time hanging , heating problem had happened . I didn't find any good thing on this laptop .

User friendly : This laptop is definitely not a user friendly product because of the processor is much slower so that it will take most of the time for simple work . Most of the time the laptop gets hang which is very irritating . The performance of the laptop is also not so good so it's not a user friendly laptop .

Reliability and satisfaction : I can't rely on this laptop having such issues . This laptop consume much time for simple work so it's not reliable . I am not satisfied with the performance , battery life , processor all of the things with the laptop .

Value for money : This is definitely not a value for money product . HP offers 11000 Rs for this laptop , which is much higher having all such problems .

Service and support : The customer service and support is also not that much good . I need to contact many times for solving issues of the laptop and they didn't give response well enough . Very poor service and support .

I am not recommend anyone to buy this laptop .

Actually this laptop performance is poor, generally old version compaq laptop is too strong but this is a less performance product.

Good looking item.but not atall comfort while using for office purpose.if you buy this product looking in its outlook, you will get annoyed.if you want to buy this product for children for their gaming purpose, this will be an its enough product.recently I have buy this laptop for my sister but she feels plung.but her child playing games in it easily.

Hey readers. I have used quite a large number of laptops at this range but this is really too poor and shitty laptop.

I am really disappointed with its performance. Its tech is totally outdated at todays scenario and you know this laptop cannot even stand general purposes and becomes a mess if u try to run even 2-3 heavy programs.

Don' t even think of running any high end games on this laptop as this is gonna crash as soon as you try to play any game.

Too laggy. And it will really burn up your head and irritate you once this laptop is even 5 months old.

Actually this laptop is already out of the competition by now and I recommend all the readers not to buy this one when u have really good choices of laptops at this price range available.

Hello guys today I tell some thing about the HP COMPAQ C700 laptop it is not a laptop it is a toy for childs I buy this online after 2 months it can not play small games smoothly its price is very costly the first problem I am facing the speakers some time I watch movie or song its speakers cannot be work and the second one is overheating when I power on this after 20 to 30 minutes it can overheat and hanging problem it is not a comfortable laptop so dont buy this fake thing thankyou.

I had purchased this last year for general office work. Following are the points because of which I would not recommend it to anyone:

• it is cheap in looks.

  
  




• touchpad stopped working in a few months.

  
  




• it is pretty slow

  
  




• it hangs often

  
  




• there is no chance of upgrading the CPU anytime in the future

  
  




• even basic Microsoft programs work really slow even when there are no background applications running and the laptop has no extra stuff installed.

Hii friends, I had replaced this ( HP Compaq C700.) Laptop just because of common problems.

You can be ammesed how can I replace new laptop. I tell you there were many many many common problems.

Like within one month I faced switch on problem. Sometimes you have to click two times.

After contineu use 5 to 6 hours suddenly screen converts into blue screen of death. It performs very slow, if you open more windows. Heating promlems fan stops rotating due to which laptop slow down proccess.

After restart the laptop fan makes noise.

At night it seem like I am running any motor.

I was fustrated by this laptop so I did replced with new one.

Buy littile costly but find good. Most seller laptop.

I bought it 1.5years ago. I faced several problems with it. It gets hanged and overheated and it many times shutdown automatically. Its R.A.M is also very low and its prossesor is also very bad I had faced many difficulties with it. I also faced problem to sell it. And now I bought a new laptop of sony.

Hp Compaq series

I am using the hp Compaq series laptop in last 2-3 years.The laptop has very low performence. Very slow loading any application many time of hanging problem.

Video quality not High defination it not support. hd Video of 720×1280 it cannot paly this quility But it is low budget laptop for student.so this is not bad for the price range

Recently I'm purchased that laptop for my elder cousin brother. Because he said to me purchase a good features of laptop. This laptop is user friendly. But when my elder cousin brother using it's laptop continuously 3 to 4 hours. His laptop is stopped working or not open instead of laptop is already fully charged still not open. So he said to me to complain on service center. I complain to them but can't solved my cousin related problem or he said to me laptop battery is damaged and he suggested me to change a battery. So I'm not reliable or satisfied by that company. Because that company battery which is in built in laptop is very bad quality of material. I'm much disappointed by this laptop. Unfortunately I change that laptop in place of my dell laptop. Or sell that laptop in very cheap rate because any one can not give a better price for that laptop. I'm very much disappointed that day. This laptop is not value for money. If you purchase that laptop you can waste your precious Money. This company services or support is also not very well and comfortable because when I complaint service center but he can not solve my problem or aslo charges money to change a laptop battery in warranty period also. So guys don't purchase this laptop because I'm in trouble.

I bought this laptop 2 years ago and I have been facing several problems with it. It always gets overheated. I bought a cooling pad but it was of no use. After overheating the fan inside produces disturbing sound and it is very irritating. After sometime laptop switches off automaticallyI can use it continuously for only three hours. The display quality is very poorThe mouse pad sensitivity is not good at all. The battery performance has decreased it takes 4 hours to charge fully and gives backup of less than 2 hoursIm really upset with the laptop and doing projects with it is impossible. I have put the image of my laptop , please do not buy this ever

Hello Everyone, now i'm gonna share my review about HP Compaq C700 Laptop. I'm using this Laptop, this Laptop was very poor quality in HP Series. This model is not reliable for use, it's services and performances was very disappointed.

The Processor in this device was very slow and it is the main reason to face the problem and also the battery back up of this device was not good, it's running only for 1-1.5 hours. Hanging and Heating problem which is too bad things about in this HP Compaq C700 Laptop.

HP Compaq C700 Laptop was also not a value for money because the reason is so many problems in that device.

Service Center was not available at every place and you have to go to cover long range distance to get your Laptop repair at the time of difficulties, there are most less number of repair center villager's area that creates a big problem for users of this company.

Reliability and Satisfaction in this HP Compaq C700 Laptop was not very well and this laptop was not a user friendly.

Overall HP Compaq C700 Laptop Performances was very poor, so I recommend to all of you don't buy this Laptop, it is fully wastage of money.

It is not a good product. Me and my two other friends use that laptop. All the laptops get their keyboard in very bad conditions within one year. Display has also get problem time to time. It was very disappointing experience with this laptop. I will not suggest you to buy this laptop as it is only wastage of money

Hey this is upadesh from mumbai and I am very much sad that HP compaq c700 has very bad battery.

after 3 to 4 month from buying the battery is so poor that I have to carry the charger wherever I go this is sad that after changing battery again after one month the issue remain the same even the charger doesnt fit well and after going to service centre they were telling that it has physically damage and to it is not covered under warrenty

plz help me in solving my issue

I had bought this product a few months ago. Initially it was working fine but after few months it started to slow down and one fine day it completely stopped working. After 2 months of use the mother board got completely spoilt and it had to be replaced. Please go for another company. I would not recommend this to anyone.
