Reviewing Dell XPS 15 L502X Laptop today. I bought this laptop one year ago in 2016. From that day it has been a great friend of mine as it is an allrounder. Its performance is very good baring some occasions where it starts responding slow.

That is not cool as when your 80% disk space is empty and still your system slow down. Its keys are very comfortable and soft and offer much more than what others like Dell & HP offer. I got a great offer with accessories such as cleaning kit, headphones, 4 Gb Pendrive and an optical mouse all that at the same price as it was a combo offer.

Overall the price of the laptop is a little high but its worth the value with accessories and its performance.

I suggest everyone buy Dell XPS 15 L502X instead of any other brand. One thing its still with me and working perfectly.

Dell promise for there quality, but this laptop makes it wrong, I purchased with lots of expectations but it fails to fulfill it, it has very low brightness screen which is harmfull for eyes, you can't do long work with it, you always need to put in charging, otherwise it is not able to complete your work, battery get dischaged within 2 hours,

Very NIce Graphics high resolution.Dell's new XPS 15 offers a high-resolution screen and brilliant JBL speakers. Intel's new Core i-series CPUs and Nvidia graphics are ordinary, but there are also bounty of arrangement options.

The design of the laptop is distinctive and it looks small even-though the laptop is 13 inches display but it looks like 11 inch display because the great design and moreover the screen is big with edge to edge display and the keyboard is soft to touch. when you pick it up after buying then it feels heavier than any other laptop. and moreover the bottom surface is more distinctive consists of two raised channels allow heat to go up from bottom vent, and also raise the entire system by a few millimeters. The performance is more than sufficient to handle commonly encountered daily tasks. and the laptop is embedded with the core i7 processor which is more powerful processor manufactured and developed by Intel makes the laptop more powerful to make tasks easy and to do the professional work as well as to play graphic games like GRAND THEFT AUTO 5 and coming series.

I bought a dell xps approximately 3yearj ago. The battery went bad causing swelling and the finger pad is damaged. I sent to dell for repairs ( after a long conversation on the phone) two weaks letar they contected me and said they did noy have the prarts and did't know when they get them. So a laptop less then 3years old has no battery- it can be used with the power card - however it tops over due to no bettery.

I bought this laptop a year back, for my brother . This laptop is power - packed with great graphic card and HD 1080p display . I loved the way it showed the movies and pictures . Every thing was just popping out of the screen .also, I thoroughly enjoyed playing games on this laptop . I was astonished to see how beautifully it is able to play every high end game so smoothly.

Though after half an hours of play, will make this laptop too hot to handle . and you can't keep it in your lap . Also I had some iossues with the battery life . I have got a six cell battery laptop, which only last long for little more hen 2 hours . which is very small .

Overall, it all in one power packed entertainment laptop, which will complete all your entertainment need.

So I will buy .

Dell Dell XPS 15 sports a similar look to that of its predecessor with the clean, understated silver and black aesthetic. The laptop features a silver aluminum display lid with rounded corners and a black Dell logo in the center of the lid. Under the lid is where the real magic is. The laptop features an infinity edge display with a razor thin bezel. Below that sits the black plush soft to the touch deck complete with a fingerprint scanner. The right side of the laptop also houses a battery indicator with five lights that will roughly show how much juice is left in the tank.

Measuring 14 x 9.27 x 0.66-inches and weighing 4.6 pounds the Dell XPS 15 isn’t exactly lightweight, but it travels well enough. The laptop is pretty much on par with most 15-inch devices such as the 4.4 pound HP Spectre x360. Sure the Dell XPS 15 may seem a bit on the heavier side when compared to some of the Ultrabooks on the market, but take into consideration the power i7 and dedicated graphics and the extra bulk is well worth it’s weight in computing horsepower.

I bought this laptop for 98k from Dell exclusive store and I fall in love with this laptop. This ultrabook is light weight about 1.4kg. It has a bazzel free screen so the size of the ultrabook is less than other 13.3inch laptops. Well, I am a digital marketer so I need a powerful laptop and this ultrabook fulfills all my expectations. The true beauty of this laptop is the display. The things which I don't like about this is the position of the speaker and webcam. The performance of this laptop is a superb. It has 55 WHr 6-Cell Battery which gives me a full day battery life.

In term of price, It is a slightly high price. It should lie between 70k to 80k. I really love this product in term of everything like gaming, movie, browsing, blogging etc.

Right now I did not face any problem with this ultrabook so I don't know about services. I paid extra 2500rs for the additional 2 years of warranty.

Hey frends I am going to share my experience on this laptop. As every one knows that ever thing has good side and bad side both. This laptop is also have good and baad side like.

The good Dell's new XPS 15 offers a high-resolution screen and excellent JBL speakers. Intel's new Core i-series CPUs and Nvidia graphics are standard, but there are also plenty of configuration options.

The bad The extremely bulky, uninspired design of the XPS 15 doesn't suit its price, and though the battery life is very good, it's not as great as Apple's MacBook Pro. Some configuration options feel like they should have been included for free.

The bottom line Equipped with second-gen Intel Core i-series CPUs and improved Nvidia graphics, the new Dell XPS 15 performs even better than its predecessor, although it's still just as bulky. Also, keep in mind that the XPS 15 ranges greatly in price, from$799 up to$1, 500.

One of last year's most impressively priced high-end multimedia laptops was the Dell XPS 15. Though it was certainly not svelte, the$849 entry-level model we reviewed had an excellent set of specs and some of the best-sounding speakers we've ever heard on a portable.

The new XPS 15 looks a lot like the old one-which isn't that old, really: we reviewed it back in November 2010. Still, there are a few key differences with the 2011 update. First and foremost, all XPS models now have new second-gen Intel Core i-series CPUs. The GPUs have also been revamped, incorporating newer Nvidia GeForce GT 500-series graphics. The keyboard has also been given some tweaking, which we'll go into in more detail. Finally, the built-in Intel Wireless Display is now WiDi 2.0, incorporating HD streaming up to 1080p.

The base model of the new XPS 15 is actually even cheaper than last year's, at$799. It comes with a 2.3GHz Core i5-2410M CPU, an Nvidia GeForce GT525 GPU, 4GB of RAM, and a 500GB, 7, 200rpm hard drive.

That's not the one we reviewed, though. Unlike last time, Dell sent us a top-of-the-line fully rigged model, the XPS15-L502X, running around$1, 488 on Dell's Web site: a quad-core 2GHz Core i7-2630QM CPU, 8GB of RAM, a 750GB 7, 200rpm hard drive, Nvidia GeForce GT 540M graphics, a Blu-ray drive, and a 1, 920x1, 080-pixel resolution screen, along with a chunky but longer-life nine-cell battery.

It's a heavy beast, and expensive, too, but if you're looking for a media laptop that can blast movies, play games, and show them off on a great screen, the new XPS 15 could be just what you're looking for. But don't feel like you have to spring for all the upgrades; the base model should be more than enough for most-unless you're looking for Blu-ray and a full 1080p display.

Talking about size and shape, then the size and shape of the Dell XPS 15 is best described as beefy and bulky, with a flat, wide silver profile that looks like plastic but is actually metal. A thick, slightly tapered base and wide, flat, brushed-aluminum lid look, at first glance, like they belong on a budget laptop. Especially with the extra riser added by the nine-cell battery option, the overall effect is one of the thickest laptops we've seen on the market. The XPS has undeniably throwback looks, and not in a good way. Overall this laptop is good for all generation people .

This is the best laptip I laptop I had ever used it has 8gb of ram that is amazing in speed. The laptop has got jbl! Speakers that are fabulous in terms of loudness as well as qualitybof sound. The laptop has full metal body. Laptop has core i7 processor that is divastating in speed. Nothing to say that this laptop has got many more features but if you mind me then this is the best laptop.

Hello, guys first I want to tell you that I have been using Dell XPS 15 L502X from last 7 years and still working without any problem.

Aesthetics

The general feel of the laptop is nice. It has a sleek and curvy design which makes it fairly appealing to the eye and nice to handle. It is however quite heavy compared to other notebooks which doesn’t bother me too much but if you’re carrying it around all day then it could potentially be a pain.

Dell XPS 15 L502X Battery life

This is the main aspect that I think the laptop loses its last star in. The battery life is fairly poor and any extreme use will drain it very quickly. For example, if I was to watch a movie or play a gaming session, I would generally need to keep it plugged in if I was intending to use it for more than an hour and a half. The battery in my XPS is already due to a replacement as it does not charge anymore. It has been used vigorously for near to two years but I was not expecting to need to replace it just yet. (Also not covered by warranty!)

Dell XPS 15 L502X Gaming

Since owning it, the laptop has managed to play every game that I have thrown on it. It can’t handle all of them on the highest settings but can play them to a good quality on normal settings. I think games coming out over 2013 may start to catch up with it a bit, but I’m still confident it could run anything on at least the lowest settings for another year yet. The colorful and bright HD screen also makes graphics stand out nice and crisp.

Dell XPS 15 L502X Webcam

There is a 2mp integrated webcam that comes with Dell's webcam central suite. The webcam has reasonable quality and the webcam suite is easy and quite fun to use.

Dell XPS 15 L502X Keyboard

I have the laptop without the backlit keyboard and I regret not getting it now. It costs extra, but I think it’s well worth spending it to be able to type more efficiently in the dark. Apart from that, the keyboard itself is nice to use; the buttons are not too clunky or stiff and generally have a nice feel to type with.

Dell XPS 15 L502X Conclusion

Great for multi-tasking and gaming, good-looking visuals and aesthetics but quite heavy with fairly poor battery.
