I bought this Laptop an year ago and writing this review with the same one. The first thing that come into my mind once I received this laptop from Dell is "DOPE".
What is not to like? Just like the name insists it looks like some alien technology which somehow got into my hands, its processor is super fast, it has great storage space, has one of the best graphic card that not many laptops process. Then I asked myself what will possibly go wrong?
One day I booted my computer and got ready to play some awesome game, when playing it suddenly the game is lagging which I though never going to witness, that is why we all bought this mean looking beast, right? Well we are mistaken. My battery was damaged due to constant charging in less than an year! You may ask why would you do that do your laptop, bro?
Well we have no other choice as we cannot play games with high end graphics without plugging the charger in because Nvidia graphic card that comes with this laptop will not work just with the battery power, you can only play games with that god forbidden 512MB Intel HD graphic card. So as a gamer I did what has to be done and played with charging the battery all day long which eventually destroyed my battery life. Now, my battery can never be the same, my battery sacrificed itself for my happiness. Everyone who read this review, please pay your respects to by battery who is more than just a battery to me.
Now the real question is why? Why do they gave us a battery that cannot cope up with this powerful machine? Why does Dell gave us a laptop with "SuperMan" abilities and a battery which is its "Kryptonite"? Maybe to make some extra bucks with battery sales? Or maybe because Alienware is a fan of DC comics?
