I am using tubular batteries for last 3 years. Till no I haven’t witnessed any problem. This is the best inverter battery I ever witnessed in my life .My old assembled batteries stop working due to frequent power cuts. These batteries are very powerful and user –friendly. These batteries are available at all luminous dealers at around Rs.7990. These batteries come with Ceramic vent plugs that arrest evaporation loss of water, which is a good feature in theses batteries. These batteries provide excellent protection against leakage and corrosion.

I bought this inverter back in may 2008, as we know that power cuts are major problem in cities like Delhi .My old inverter broke down to technical defaults, so I thought of buying a new inverter for my home. • I bought these batteries on the occasion of New Year. My old batteries stop working completely so I bought these batteries for my inverter.

Earlier I was using locally made batteries , after 2 years it making some problems like regular leakage which is very annoying for me so on that day I decided to purchase new batteries from a reputed company so I choose luminous power technologies over other companies.

These tubular batteries can run up to 10 long years which is so amazing. After using these batteries I am very much satisfied with the performance, these batteries are so much different from other batteries.

At last I changed my inverter batteries with brand new tubular plate battery (ILT- 18000). My earlier inverter batteries stop working within 3 years time, I went to their service center twice and nothing came concrete from their side, so I decided to trust only on reliable manufacturers like luminous power technologies.

• Before using tubular batteries I was using locally assembled batteries it was one of the biggest mistake of my life. Due to local batteries I lost one of my favorite TV’s. This is how I made my decision to buy branded tubular batteries. One of the biggest plus point in tubular batteries is 10-year life, which no other batteries even claim.

I bought these batteries in June 2007, which can be considered peak season because of the power shortages. It’s a user-friendly product and also quite. After purchasing batteries I asked my electrician slowly do you get any complaints (tubular batteries) he said no sir I haven’t got any complaints till now. It’s almost 3 years and I am quite satisfied with batteries.

We already suffering from frequent power cuts in our cities so I decided to install a new Ups and purchased brand new Viva ups from luminous technologies. I bought this ups from my local luminous dealer. As luminous people told me they installed the ups at my home with warranty card .

The ups feels light and just weigh 7.00 kg .The Ups comes with essential power cables. One of the reasons I want a new improved ups is to save my computer from frequent power cuts. When the inverter was connected to the computer for the first time a beep like sound heard this indicates that ups is now connected .

When I first saw this ups in my friend's house, I told him what a piece … man

M y current ups is looking crap in front of prima ups. Then I bought this ups and believe it or not it really changed my opinion. How good looking is this ups and stylish also.

When I connect the ups to my pc a green light flashes .Then I charged for 5 ling hours so that it stabilizes. I my opinion it delivers me what I want from a ups .Prima ups comes with Alarm function, micro-controlled based intelligent system, Pre-alarm function and not the least overload trip audio. It also comes with battery surcharge protection .

I request all users who own computer should try this ups and protect their valuable data. When I purchased this ups I have a doubt regarding customer service but I was wrong, Luminous proved me wrong .Prima ups comes with a reasonable price.So don’t worry about cost at all, it’s a very user friendly product

After using many brands I finally switched to luminous. Inverter is one time investment for me so I want all home electronics users to use only good brands like LUMINOUS One of the most important souls of inverter is its battery after using this inverter, trust me it’s a great product with great features.

When we use inverter one thing we all note is its design because design matters at least for me. If the design is cheap it even worsen the whole personality of the product .When we discuss about customer service if often get cheated by the companies but in case of Luminous just relax and take a back seat.

Inverter for me is more like a necessity because we live in a joint family and I don’t trust any brand till I use it at lest for a month or so. So my vote goes to LUMINOUS. One thing I want to say is about price, to be honest pricing matters. We belong to a traditional middle class family where we cannot buy a product just on the basis of linking. Luminous sine wave Inverter is good. I I Luminous Sine wave inverter is very convenient. I bought it at very good price of 16, 000/- google_protect and comfortable. I have 4KVA Inverter and it is fulfilling all needs for our home. We are using all kinds of equipments like Tubelights, fan, Audio system, LCDTV, AC too.

I think Luminous sine wave is very low maintainance product. Batteries is very good and I never felt that power cuts are a problem.And more only thing I am concerned with is the service.Otherwise I can rate it as one of the most useful product nowadays.

Moreover when you are buying a inverter see the product complete tech details and its draw backs as we are more comfortable then.For the first 14 months the inverter worked real good. After that the trouble started. Replaced the power unit under warrenty. The customer service are cheaters, they gave a power unit which was faulty and over charging the battery (The battries get heated up and the distilled water needs to be topped up every 2 week once). I realised after the warrenty elapsed.

Power cut is a frequent problem that we have to face in Ranchi. We can’t say when light will go. Some days we have to wait more than five hours for electricity. For facing these kinds of problem we were looking that type of invert-er which can provide long back-up and should be very user friendly.

My search ended when I got luminous sine wave inverter. What an inverter really comfortable and so easy to use that any one can handle it. I bought a luminous sine wave inverter last year and staying in a power cut area, it has proved to be a boon in disguise. Since it is one of the few pure sine wave inverters, I do not have to worry about the safety of my appliances connected, specially my TV and computer.

It is quiet, comes with a decent trolley which does not take up much space and looks pretty neat too. The trolley is also portable so it can be moved easily to a different location in the house if and when required.

The inverter I bought came with 2 luminous batteries and the result is extremely good. I haven’t gone one day without power since. The installation was smooth and fast. It was ready to use the moment it was installed. The dealer explained to me about the small precautions and care to be taking like topping up the battery water once every six months which can keep the batteries running for longer.

It comes with a warranty which I have not been able to use so far as there has not been any problem as such. luminous is a big company, they have a very clear and easy to navigate website which answers most of your queries. And having a good brand and reputation in the market, I am sure they will ensure a stable product and stand behind their products.

I am able to operate almost all daily necessity products including my TV, fridge, computer, fans, etc. so I don’t really feel the power cut anymore. I doubt the Indian power scenario is going to get better anytime soon. So rather get home a luminous inverter and let your work on other important issues. Wish you have a "bright" future.

I was using luminous inverter in our home and It was a good inverter. Now there was need for inverter in my petrol pump because there was a more power demand than my home. I took lots of consultancy and advice for this. After a great brainwash I took again luminous inverter in its jumbo range of inverter.

I am using it from five month and I have no problem with this inverter. It is working fine and provides very good service. 2nd things I want to share with this company that is its costumer service. I had some problem in earlier when I was using its small inverter for my home. But now a days these people are totally changed and giving very good after sell service.

My experience with luminous servicing people is good now they are providing very good assistance whenever we have need. I got to know that they have launched new toll free number for costumer assistance. It is very nice. I think luminous making very good products and if they could continue this kind of costumer servicing than it is sure that no other company can compete this products. I am Ram Dwiwedi from Allahabad. I am running a cyber café and small publishing company. I my area I am facing problem like regular power cut and voltage fluctuations and as you know voltage fluctuation is very harmful for many hardwires, so I want to buy those types of UPS system whose can provide solutions for these problems.

Than I got to know about luminous online UPS system. According to its brochure I thought I should try with this product. I bought 2KVA that is perhaps 1400 watts Online UPS systems. After two or three moths I knew that it is really workable product and it is good for other hardware also. It is not a very unique product just a general and very user friendly product.

Its double conversion online topology and high frequency PWM technology is new things but other feature is so so. But I am very satisfied by this product. And I can say It is justifying its costs. So I can recommend this product to other people also. I think luminous is not a bad company in service also because when ever I wan called there people they had come very promptly and now they are starting there toll free help line also. But I have some advice for luminous they should be more prompt on their servicing.

Luminous makes good products. I am using its products and I have no problem with it. Recently I bought a UPS Minimax 500VA of Luminous. It is again one of the magnificent products of this Power equipments company. In Patna its customer services are also very good and I am using luminous Sine Wave Inverter also and am getting very sound costumer care from luminous.

Minimax 500 VA costs Rs. 4470 and it provides very good backup. As there is not very good condition of electricity in my town we are quite happy having this UPS. I would like to share a funny moment of this Product when we run three computers for more than half an hour. We are studding in Patna. I and my two other friends are working on a very important project.

Suddenly light had gone but we have to complete that project on same day so when my friends UPS gave last weep I connect all three computer with my luminous Minimax UPS and we all completed our work. After that we became loyal users of this Brand. Now I can recommend every one to buy Luminous Products because these are very reliable and workable.

I want to share some great experience with Luminous Shine Wave Inverter. One day there is no light in my area but I have to wash my cloths for urgent travel. thanks to luminous shine wave Inverter who ran my washing machine too. I think luminous shine wave is good inverter especially for those area where electricity problem because it provide long battery backup.

I am using luminous products and I am quite satisfied with there products. I got to know that after sell services is bad but in my city (Chandigarh) it is average. the look of this inverter is not very well but it very comfortable to use. For my computer I am using luminous UPS it is also good. So I can recommend Luminous Shine Wave inverter and Luminous UPS is also good. Extremely sorry for hurting the well wishers of the luminous family but the product that I purchased less than 2year ago is giving me nightmares...

FCor the last 6months or so m getting problems with it , and for the last 6 days m contacting the service center of luminous at 011 45500700 and 011 40778222 but no action has been taken from their side but always an assurance has been given that 'll provide u a technician by tomorrow and even god doesn't know wen 'll that tomorrow come......

My old complaint number is 2689558 and with continuous calls they have updated the complaint number that I don't know..Hope luminous people will be looking at my comments and would try to improve a better service after products sold ......

Till then I would recommend every one to buy this product nottttt....and do post more regarding this product so that the prospective buyers will inquire about b4 purchasing this product...Get well soon LUMINOUS....

I have purchased 1400 VA inverter from Luminous and it developed some problem on 2nd may- till now one has rectified it, inspite of my several complaints and the followup. I have been running from pillar to post to get it rectified. No one is bothered. Mails are sent to the higherups even CEO and Directors. Nothing is happenning . No one is bothered. Me an my family is being roasted in tis sweltering heat. I have decided to go legal and have already started the Proceedings.

I dont know how the campany is able to sell if the service is so very pathetic. I have decided that I will never ever usy any prouct of luminous in the future nor will I recommend it to any of my friend in the future. I am infact writing this mail so that people would decide of their own. Let people not fall into the trapon seeing the product being advertised by the high profile celebrities.

Is any one taking any cognizance of this please.
