Tata Photon Max Wi-Fi Data Card

I used this Tata Photon data card and purchased it for personal home purpose. I used it for about 3 to 4 months and my overall experience with this data card is somehow lower than average. I am disappointed with some of it's irritating problems and their customer support representative is so pathetic.

INTERNET SPEED: I will rate 2 star out of 5 for internet speed because it allows me only to surf internet with a speed of 200 to 300 kbps and I tried disconnecting and connecting several times but the speed was constant. I checked statistics of the network but speed never crossed 750 kbps.

CONNECTIVITY: I got an issue in connectivity for the first time after 3 days of purchase. And the problem was that, the device gets disconnected automatically showing notification of network error. And now this problem occurs every 15 minutes.

CUSTOMER SUPPORT: I contacted their customer care executive for connectivity problem. They promised to solve my problem but I noticed that this problem continues no one arrived for checking after giving address.

Also there are very few shops which provide recharge of Tata Photon, generally I do online recharges of Tata Photon Max Wi-Fi Data Card.

Hello everyone,

Today I'm going to share my bad experience about tata photon internet connection.

Internet speed:

I have using the tata photon network since last 2 years, the starting period the network is very speed and access is very quick download speed maximum 5 mb speed.

Hence I will continuously using the network connection.

Few month back network is very slow, whenever I have login my system, system shows bad network connection network disconnected.

Then after 20 min automatically solve this issue, after few hours it was continue, that time network speed 250kb speed.

customer support:

I have raise the complaint regarding network issue but they have no proper response.

They have said to only, it is just network issue, we will working for this. Still not yet resolved my problems.

Now the days internet is major communication medium in the world, it is very bad network.

Customer not yet support.

The tata photon max wi-Fi device is cheap price mean .it is 1000 to 2000 under of the cost the device .but the device isn't give to high speed .but every person is thinking about of the device .the device is so issue of market place . The device give to unlimited data . when your time period over then your net speed is so slow mean 128kbs to 250kbs .

Hi guys its totally waste of time and money.

Wifi speed is very slow, I brought tata phone max wifi data card of 1000 Rs. Offer of data plan in are too expansive and tata phone network is very worst, after purchased tata phobe max data card I went to my grany native its village there is no tata network at all and tata photon service provider simply adding extra changer for post paid customers without using any data simply I paid 500 Rs rupees, I was very worst experience, according to my suggestion guys please don't go for this product its time and money worthless and customer support is not good there is no proper interaction with customer.

Hi guys today I am saying my personal experience I have been using this Tata Photon Max Wi-Fi Data Card for the past 1 years.my tata photon a/c no- is 921063981.i am getting very slow speed so I decided to close the connection & I put the email & I received the confirmation email of discontinuation of tata photon internet service as on 12th april 2016.i have not used even any data during entire month and I have got the bill of Rs.3552- which I was paid.This is really very worst experience I faced with Tata Photon, I don't know how to rate your service but it is developing very bed service reputation.

I used for more than a two years. It's speed is good. But it is difficult to get Internet connection to your device in some inner places and MOFSULE Areas. I get 1gb for rupees 255. But it is not sufficient for now a days usage. There are lot of other competers and prizes are also slashed. Service is good but now days.

I purchased this device a year back, and the company promised that the speed will be 10 MB ps but, till date I have not been able to catch up with the speed. The average speed is very poor. Secondly in case you connect your device to more than 4 gadgets then the speed lowers to a extreme extended. The customer information system is also very annoying. They keep on calling for the billing but donot solve the customers problem.

Tata photon is a wastage device to use internet because the speed of tata photon is too slow.

Connection reliability is equal to none. Connectivity is so poor. If you are working on pc and using Tara photon max Wi-Fi than you will get only irritation.

If we discuss about service and Support than others are Providing best Service than tata photon. This device only waste your time and money both.

It is very fast work. I am use this product and I received benifit this product. It is very fast work on 4g data. I am very setisfie this product.

My friend use other company product.So he is very sad because his product is very slow work and then I said his friend about this product.

Tata docomo is very famous company in india so its products is very good quality.

Now I am here to share my review on Tata Photon Max WiFi this is a router which is used to used net before 1 year I also buy Tata Photon Max WiFi to access Internet but and that day I found that its speed is very slow and I take postpaid Sim. One day when I use some data and next day I got a message of 2000 rupees from Tata Photon Wi-Fi at the time I am come shocked and I call customer care service for information they told me that it is my faul.

But when I ask fire limit of the data pack and why remember thevdata pake

Therefore I never recommend anyone to buy this product

This time I rewieing a network provider thing which I uses personaly for work before jio come in market but I know who ever is the user of tata photon max wifi network provider is totally desapeard because in starting they gave many promises like for excellent network, fast internet and month plan in 499, 599 only. but only in starting , after some time they charged you many for high speed the network is not working in cities also .that s the rewiev on tata photon max wifi

Ok Mothshutters, it's time to flood the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India(TRAI) with all of our complaints regarding the telecom cartel!

I hope that once TRAI gets overwhelmed with too many complaints from all across the country, they will have no choice but to take some degree of genuine action. If things don't improve significantly and quickly, perhaps a PIL will become necessary to purge TRAI of corruption and apathy.

Now, below is the most recent letter I emailed to TRAI:

A few days ago, I recharged my Photon service online for Rs 995. It has been totally worthless ever since, as the connection has been so slow that I cannot even check my emails. I am using my neighbour's internet connection as of now. Below are details regarding the recharge:

Amount - Rs 995

Description - 12GB data

Validity - 28 days

SGST - Rs 75.89

CGST - Rs 75.89

I have already mailed this to TRAI. The reason I'm contacting TRAI directly and copying the mail to Tata Docomo is because Tata Docomo absolutely refuses to provide anything resembling customer service.

After a row with this company last year, I already know that any attempt to contact their so-called Customer Care will be nothing more than a masochistic exercise in futility.

I have already sent TRAI a lengthy and detailed complaint last year regarding Tata's robber baron business practices and their brazen refusal to provide anything resembling customer service.

Giving service/products in exchange for money taken is called'Business', while simply taking money without providing anything is called'Theft'.

When I gave Tata Docomo Rs 995, it was not a cwellnessextractble donation. Tata Docomo has taken money from us, without giving anything, which means they just stole Rs 995 from us.

After giving them Rs 995, I should be able to use the Internet, but since the service is so slow that I can't even check my email. I am forced to borrow my neighbor's connection. That means I received nothing inn exchange of that Rs 995, which once again proves that Tata Docmo is guilty of theft.

The competent authorities, such as TRAI, are supposed to exist for the benefit of the people, but when only telecom cartel billionaires are the once benefiting, while the rest of us are being robbed, cheated, tricked and exploited at every turn, then how the public can be expected to have any faith in the so-called authorities who allow such shameless corporate pillaging to occur?

Kindly do the needful so that we don't get robbed again.

The thieves who rob houses spend their in jails. What about the corporate rowdies? I am very furious about the fact that the money was stolen by a corporate rather than a poor thief.

I don't know what TRAI will do to address this, but they can't pretend they don't know what these companies are getting up to.

I urge everyone to keep using Mouthshut in order to increase consumer awareness, but also email their telecom complaints directly to TRAI, along with all relevant transaction details, since all telecoms arrogantly refuse to provide Actual, Meaningful Customer Service.

Tata photon is good.But his plan is very high You can not get 3g speed.His price is very high.You can use wifi.But I am not use wifi because I not know how to use wifi.This data card support sim but not use.You can insert memory card.His speed is very bad.His data plan price is very high.His conectvity is very bad.His service is very bad.

No use of this very slow before it was good but now a days its totally useless simply wasting money on that better to use jio-fi or airtel brodband it will give us maximum speed and now a days in cheap rates they are providing data it is also unlimited its better no . Tata photon max Wi-Fi. from this device and network of tata docomo. I am very dissatisfied. It's very slow nad not give good coverage of network.i was using that device but now I sell it because that is wastage of money I was expected that it will be good for me but when I start using this product it's not working well and network coverage is also very bad in my area.data plan is also very costly if I choose plan in mid range of prize they give it for less of validity.speed of data suffering is slower and data consuming is higher so guys I don't suggest you to buy it.

AGAIN, TATA DOCOMO HAS TAKEN MONEY FROM US, WITHOUT GIVING ANYTHING OF VALUE IN RETURN, WHICH MEANS THEY JUST STOLE 995 RUPEES FROM US!

AFTER GIVING THEM 995 RUPEES, I "SHOULD" BE ABLE TO USE THE INTERNET, BUT SINCE THE SO-CALLED "SERVICE" IS SO DISMALLY SLOW THAT I CANNOT EVEN CHECK EMAIL, AND AM FORCED TO BORROW THE NEIGHBOR'S CONNECTION, THAT MEANS I RECEIVEDNOTHING OF VALUE IN EXCHANGE FOR THAT 995 RUPEES, WHICH ONCE AGAIN MEANS THAT TATA DOCOMO IS GUILTY OF THEFT!

The competent authorities, such as TRAI, are SUPPOSED to exist for the benefit of the PEOPLE, but when only inhuman and elitist telecom cartel billionaires and their well paid sycophants are the ones benefiting, while the rest of us are robbed, cheated, tricked and exploited at every turn, then you tell me how the public can be expected to have any faith in, let alone respect for, the so-called authorities who allow such shameless corporate pillaging to occur?

At least the rowdy boy who robs a house will actually spend time in jail for his crimes. What about corporate rowdies?

Hi freinds I am a user of tata photon max I am using this dongle since 2 year ago and I have a very bad experience of it .First of all I want to tell you that though I am a postpaid user having a 10 gb data validity I faces many problem regarding its connectivity in other devices i.e my mobile it connectivity is first on pc I face many problem regarding the browsing uplods and download it have a less download speed as compared with its uplod speed so from using it I have a download issue sometimes after using it more than an hour it disconnects automatically at many times I have to waste my time in connecting it and after use of 10 gb the speed is lower than the 2g data.

I say only that I face lot of problems from this broadband the reason is that the internet speed connection is soo low whenever you use the internet in your comuters or laptops I am sure you also face the problems of upload & download speed connection, the services not bad but charges is high I am not satisfy .

I bought the Tata photon max  WI-Fi Data card 2 years ago in the first 2 mount he performs well but after a two mount its speed become very slow. Its Internet speed become very slow . Its connection drop in 5 or 6 time in one day.

But its feature is really too good. connection Reliability is very slow . its service and sports center work in few times in day. I recommend if in this data card few best feature are added this Data card become very famous
