No Refund of Security.

The company at the time of buying the service said that the 2000 rs taken as the security will be refunded after 30 days of service discontinuation and return of the wifi router. on 22nd May when I got the service discontinued they said that the security deposit will be refunded after 60 days and it is mentioned on the website. Again after 60 days they are still not refunding the security deposit and the keep on on hold for 1 hour and do not respond to my calls and say that the ticket is raised and you will get your money soon. The company is a fraud company and highly unprofessional. Please do not buy this service.

Worst service ever your customer care executives have no manners to talk and one of the customer care executives has spoken so informant... seriously?. Everyone continues to lie and make me wait for 30-45 minutes and then I lose my tolerance and throw my phone and smash it to the wall! You guys are acting like frauds! It's a shame that you're such a large company.

This is the the scenario when the connection has not been installed yet! Just thinking about what will happen post installation! Just hate Pre Services provided by the team.

I inquired about wifi plans and they ran to me for connection, but as soon as, I have paid the money they don’t even bother to pick up the calls and do the needful. Infact, I even contacted their coustomer care, all the team literally just gave one or the other number.


Literally saying don’t be befooled by so called EXCITEL BROADBAND.


But later on today finally I got my router installed.


Ground staff was nice, mainly Mr Subash was very helpful. He on the spot resolved my issues.


And lastly Mr Veer please don’t believe on this person, as he is some other person until he gets the payment and later on he is the other person whose demeanour changes ie stopped picking calls and suddenly disappeared!

I was promised broadband speed of 400 Mbps at the time of sales and mis-sold the package for 6 months by assuring that if I am not satisfied with the services in that case I can request for refund for unused period. I am getting a speed of 150 MbPS and within 23 days of installation two times internet was not available for 2 days each.

I had to use this connection for one year because my biggest mistake was that I had prepaid for one whole year ..And then the torture started every other day the net was gone and in August 2021 the Internet connectivity took 15 days to resume so as soon as my plan was over , I discontinued their services and after that even after more than a year I haven't received my security refund and their local partner is such a goon he just says the ticket for refund is resolved without transferring the money

I recently subscribed to Excitel Broadband with high hopes for a seamless internet experience along with their promised OTT services. However, my experience with their customer service has been nothing short of a nightmare. It has been 17 days since I raised my first ticket, and to my dismay, the issue remains unresolved. Their customer care team's unresponsiveness and lack of accountability have left me extremely dissatisfied.


Customer Care Failures:


From the moment I raised my complaint, the customer care representatives have failed to respond appropriately. Instead of taking prompt action, they merely assure me that they will get back to me, which never happens. The lack of communication and disregard for my concerns is appalling and unacceptable.


Broken OTT Promise:


One of the main reasons I opted for Excitel was the inclusion of OTT services in my subscription. However, to my frustration, these services have never been activated. When I inquired about this, the customer care team seemed clueless about the new services, and the blame game between teams further aggravated the situation. Their inability to provide a straightforward resolution highlights their disorganization and inefficiency.


Internal Disputes and Lack of Responsibility:


What adds insult to injury is the internal disputes between teams regarding issue detection and resolution. As a customer, I should not have to be concerned with internal conflicts within the company. This lack of coordination and ownership only amplifies the frustration of dealing with Excitel's customer service.


Value for Money:


Based on my experience, Excitel Broadband's services are far from being worth the money. Not only have they failed to deliver the promised OTT services, but their customer service also appears to be more of a hindrance than a help. It is disappointing to invest hard-earned money in a service that leaves you feeling helpless and unheard.

Excitel in Lucknow is worst do not

I want to give a negative rating ...please do not opt for excitel service atleast in Lucknow. It's been just 2 months and in these 2 months I had faced internet issues more than 200 times and raised more than 20 complaints. Speed is not what then promised, frequent speed drop, there are days when you will have to sit without internet for more than 24 hrs. I have stopped raising speed drop issues now because I know it's waste of time but can't help when there is no connection. Customer care gives you standard answer that's it and their local partner request you not to raise complaint, just call them but when you call they just buy time.

When I decided to switch to a different service provider due to the unreliable connection, I requested the return of my security deposit as per their policy.


Little did I know that this simple process would turn into an ongoing battle with Excitel Broadband. Multiple calls, emails, and even visits to their office have all been in vain. The representatives I spoke to displayed a shocking lack of knowledge and seemed disinterested in resolving the issue promptly. The fact that it has been over five months since I terminated my connection and I still haven't received my security deposit is absolutely outrageous. The poor connectivity and lack of customer support are frustrating enough, but the failure to return a security deposit for such an extended period of time is completely unacceptable. There are plenty of other providers in the market who prioritize customer satisfaction and adhere to basic principles of good business practice.


In conclusion, Excitel Broadband's failure to return my security deposit after more than five months has left me extremely dissatisfied and frustrated. I would not recommend their services to anyone looking for a reliable and customer-centric internet service provider. Save yourself the headache and choose a company that values its customers and upholds its commitments.
