Yeh Hai Classic crap

Have you guys ever been tried hot coffee and ice cream (of course cold.. :) ) together.. the feeling is great but you can't figure out hot or cold feelings coz they mix up... Same is the case with yeh hai jalwa....

Its a mix of comedy and serious emotions and u cant judge whats going on.... Moreover unlike the upper case (coffee ice cream yaar) the feeling is pathetic.

What made me watch this film ??? No not Salman Khan, because I don't have any gay tendencies to watch topless shaved chested guys/men, also I don't wanna know the secret of over acting and still surviving in industry from the past 12 years .. The reason was Ameesha Patel ... yes ...

but no... dont figure out wrongly, I am not impressed by her Gold medal in economics and I am also not her Fan Foone.... actually I feel sympathy for this poor girl that after two super duper hits she is just ignored by the media in front of the strong clever and sharp cat with long nails and pukka kapoor gharana's tag on her forehead (and big wide cheeks)...yeah .. Kareena bebo Kapoor..., BUt then I figured out after watching this flick that why is she being ignored....

So due to that sympathy I just rented out the dvd of the new ''classic '' crap of bollywood, and at the end of the show my condition was also like ameesha ji.. yeah , sympathetic and miserable.... Why.. ?? just because of the crappiest film I ever saw of salman khan (after a long long time of her earlier days classic craps like Jaagruti, Nishchaiy, Sangdil Sanam, Majhdhar etc...)

Story... yes there was something like a story, and it was a tripple story.. I mean the first story was comedy, the second story was sentimental /serious and the third story was the insane blend of these entirely contrasted emotions.. so there was an insane base of this building(yeh hai jalwa) that comprised of tripple stories... (huh)

The story of YEH HAI JALWA reminds me of the Salman starrer JAB PYAAR KISISE HOTA HAI, the only difference being that Salman played the role of the father in the former, whereas he is the illegitimate son in this enterprise. The subject in question required sensitivity, but knowing David Dhawan?s forte for comedy, the narrative is laced with light moments. In fact, that?s one of the reasons it is difficult to identify with the story after a point. The initial reels give the impression that Salman is adamant about making his father accept him, but he hardly seems to take any steps in that direction. In fact, the story hardly moves till the interval point. It is only at this point when Salman speaks out his heart to his father, that there is some hope of the story progressing.

Post-interval, one expects things to happen, but the portions let you down since Salman, instead of adopting a confrontationist stand, becomes pally with his father?s family members. Even the tricks he adopts to consolidate his position seem far-fetched. Also, the romantic angle between Salman and Amisha Patel is not well-established. Director David Dhawan is known for gags and punches, but barring a couple of scenes, the impact is plain mediocre.

Music was PATHETIC except ''Maan ja Dilbar'' . Direction was dry, dull , lifeless as the film and its theme itself.... u dont feel laughing and crying, but just being annoyed and irrtated throughout the movie.

Performance wise all actors justified with the film 's quality .. I mean they were PLAIN BAD... Rishi was below average .. salman was funny in emotional scenes and irritating in socalled funny portions, and above all Ameesha Patel aka Gold medalest in Economics from Tuft university USA... proved that she is 100% misfit in film industry.. she dont simply know how to act.. her expressions are wooden, her body language is stiffed and even she dont know how to speak properly, by hearing her one feels that as if she is reciting Shakspear's dramas' lines in a drag condition.

Screen play is 3rd class, editing is invisible, songs ' picturisation is of routine and everything else is so dull so dull that u bored liek hell.

So by making fun of a controversial topic (Bastard child) the director proved his IQ and tried to lower down the audience level of sanity so if u wanna feel anytiem that u r getting XTRA genius and wanna level down ur Iq level to mix up well with the ordinary people, go watch this flick... ooops.. sorry again ... crap.

Yeh hai Jalwa

Salman Khan and Amisha Patel have been teamed for the first time in Ketan Manmohan Desai's YEH HAI JALWA, directed by David Dhawan. Incidentally, David has always said that he is inspired by the Manmohan Desai formula of film-making and YEH HAI JALWA is his second film for the banner, the first being DEEWANA MASTANA. YEH HAI JALWA will be Salman's second release in 2002, after the much-hyped TUMKO NA BHOOL PAAYENGE. Co-starring with Shot at the eye-filling locations of U.K. and Australia, YEH HAI JALWA stars Sanjay Dutt in a special appearance. Incidentally, before YEH HAI JALWA went on the floors, Ketan Desai had started a Sanju – Salman starrer, which was shelved after its first schedule.

YEH HAI JALWA tells the story of a son (Salman Khan) who goes in search for his father. The plot thickens when the son suddenly discovers that the father (Rishi Kapoor) he thought was dead for all these years is alive and is in fact one of the richest men in U.K. So what happens when the father, happily settled with his wife and children, is suddenly confronted with a grown up illegitimate son? Rishi Kapoor and Rati Agnihotri (together after KUCH KHATTI KUCH MEETHI) live happily with their family, Kader Khan (Rishi Kapoor's father), Rinke Khanna (Rishi – Rati's daughter) and Master Ajay Nagrath (Rishi – Rati's son). Till Salman enters their lives. Treated humorously, YEH HAI JALWA is one film David Dhawan is looking forward to since his last release, KYO KII… MAIN JHUTH NAHIN BOLTA, bombed at the box-office. Incidentally, David's two films will be released close to each other, HUM KISISE KUM NAHIN on May 3 YEH HAI JALWA on May 31. YEH HAI JALWA has music by Himesh Reshammiya.
