It's a bio pic about veerappan where sundeep bharatwaj plays as veerappan in this film with a grear transformation from handsome hunk to skinny smuggler he plays .awesome .

This is an honest picture .andVeerappan picture is directed by Ram Gopal verma. This movie Release on May 27, 2016 and Veerapan could be a life of the merciless bandit UN agency created such terror within the jungles of Karnataka and Tamil Nadu that specially found out tha story of reality fours brignd veerappan .its awing wath it tha photography is nice.

Ram Gopal Varma's new Hindi filmVeerappan would have been better served by the title Killing Veerappan that he gave to his Kannada film on the late forest bandit that was released earlier this year.

The name might suggest otherwise butVeerappan is not a biopic of the notorious sandalwood and ivory smuggler who eluded the police of two states for over two decades. It is, instead, a documentary-style portrait of Veerappan as seen through the eyes of the Special Task Force set up to capture him, while they work towards achieving their goal.

One of the most notorious criminals in recent Indian history, Veerappan's life no doubt is rich fodder for a filmmaker. And R.D. Tailang's script has all the ingredients that could make for a great film. That it is not is a result of three factors: the overly loud background music that overpowers everything else in the film, the casting of Sachiin Joshi as the policeman who led the operation to nab Veerappan and Lisa Ray playing the wife of a slain policeman.

The story is all about the world’s most notorious sandalwood and ivory smuggler, Veerappan and the events lead to Operation Cocoon to capture and kill him.

The task forces fail to capture or kill Veerappan. Then the cop(Sachin Joshi) will be assigned to handle the project. How he involve Shriya(Lisa Ray) in the operation and from then on how he manages to nab and kill Veerappan is the whole point of the film.

This is one hell of a movie. When I think of this movie I got very frustrated how can I waste my money on buying tickets of this crap Veerappan movie. I thought this movie is good because of it's trailer so I went to theater to watch this movie and when I watch this it let's me down. Veerappan is written and directed by Ram Gopal Verma. Movie is based on Veerappan which is real-life Indian bandit. Veerappan is wanted for killing approximately 184 people, about half of whom were police officers. Cast- Sandeep Bhardwaj as Veerappan, Usha Jadhav as Muthulaxmi, Sachin Joshi as Police officer, Lisa Ray as Shreya. Cast is good but not the movie. The movie is not even able to make me watch any scene of it and I am getting sleepy in the theater. Veerappan thumbs down.

Movie holds you back to your seats. Don't watch with kids as there are a few scenes of killing mercilessly by Veerappan which shows how cruel he was. Good picturization by RGV. Beautiful scenes n waterfalls of Karnataka. Real jungle story of how Veerappan used to kill elephants for ivory businesses. He killed 900 elephants n 90 policeman. Gives you moral of not trusting anybody except yourself.

Veerappan sees RGV come back to form, albeit partially. While the film is significantly better than his recent duds, the magical touch of'Satya' and'Company' is still missing. Nevertheless, Veerappan gives us a glimpse of vintage RGV and Sandeep Bharadwaj shines in the titular role.

Well well well.ram gopal varma's virappan disappoints as hell, the film as no soul.wasted my 100 rupees for this crap! The lead actor just looks like virappan the grt bandit of india, but fails to give the acting delivery, the feel of the film is too yelloish and the dialogues r cheap as hell.its more of a serial other than a movie.i don't know when ramu is coming back with a good movie in future but seriously I have no hopes on him now. not anymore.

Although Veerappan has got some nice action sequences but it totally fails to connect with the people . I wasted almost my 3 hours to watch this movie . Director has totally failed to launch the feelings of the movie . Director Ram Gopal Varma have plotted the scenes in the movie which is really disappointing .

Although Casting is good but Movie has not given its impact on viewers .

So Veerapan is totally waste of time to watch .

Disappointing. I wasted my almost 3 hours today. The way by which the famous director Ram Gopal Verma have plotted the scenes in movie is really disappointing. One would get badly disappointed if he goes to see movie by seeing the trailer of the movie. Only the message of the Andhra Pradesh incidence is conveyed but not in an appropriate way. The director has failed to successfully launch the feelings in the movie.

JUST waist of time watching this movie.evern he was a good warrior and a better wanted one but not a man to make a movie.actually the movie trailer was better to be shown real but it was fake and we didn't get something what we were trying to see.

most wanted daud abrahim.DON .was a serios wanted person .till then and now itself movie should be about him.

veerapan movies takes us to the time of 1930 when there were no authority and even we were not independent .

just a suck of time .watching this movie gives u nothing about the concept.

Veerappan movie is based on a person who is really very powerful and rule's over a village for several years, police is helpless because many of police officers are also afraid of him.Veerappan movie has got some very good action sequences and great direction.But the problem with the movie is that it fails to connect with the people, I would say it is a very common concept and they failed to come with some innovative concept.

Star cast is good and all of them justified their role.But I found this movie a dispiriting movie.For me this time Ramgopal Verma film failed to create an impact on peoples.I didn't liked the movie.

Last week I watched the movie Veerappan directed by Ram Gopal Verma.It was a disappointment to see RVG banner with such a good record of film making did not prove worth to watch this film. The star cast Sandeep Bharadwaj performance was upto the mark and well supported by Shiva as cop, Yagna as Muthulakshmi.They would have done even better if the story line was different from the usual killings, dacoit, smuggling, hunting and gangsterism. The movie failed to keep the audience interest in the movie and just showed the Jungle Bandit life of cruel killings, pain, suffering and decoit master plannings.

A great biopic by RAM GOPAL VERMA on  The truth behind the killing of VEERAPPAN.

VEERAPPAN was the man who killed the 97 policeman and 900+ elephants for sell their organs and theeth.

Central and state government spent 750+ CRORES to capture him.

He was brutal for any one which shown in movie very well. If wants to known more about VEERAPPAN must see the movie how the police trap him and killed? .?
