Good movie

It's a good musical romantic movie. Of course since Abhishek 2nd movie only, his acting needs improvement, though it was better in Refugee.

That Agra song could have been cut. His pairing with Kurti Reddy was nice.

All song, music are great. Kirti Reddy so beautiful in all a

I watch this movie many times its was nice but not so good. I think abhishek need to learn some acting from her dad first . This was Abhishek Bachchan's second film following his debut in Refugee(2000) and he shines thoroughly. It's sort of a cliché character now when you look back at his body of work so far. The typical "girl dreams of boy and boy(wherever he is) knows and is so sure of himself that he will get the girl in the end" storyline. But I give the film props because it's old and heartwarming.

That trouper known as Kirty Reddy made her debut in this film, and you can see that she did not just develop a penchant for whining along the way in her other films, she had it from the beginning, in fact, her incessant trademark whiny voice borders on annoying in this film, but thankfully she is a good enough dancer and has cute enough lines to sustain her performance as well as her audience.

It was a good debut and she held her own against the likes of Junior B, Johnny Lever(who is a classic riot in a dual role as Maggi the sidekick of Reddy's character as well as a cross-dressing telly show host), Paresh Rawal(hilarious as usual as Kabir's foster parent) and a host of others.

The main story revolves around Reddy's character, who dreams that she will win a major award someday and her dream guy will arrive in a Mercedes Benz and sweep her off her feet someday. This turns out to be true but the guy in the Mercedes Benz is far from what she has been dreaming about. Bachchan plays a boy named Kabir who lives in Agra and believes that Agra is only famous for two things; The Taj Mahal and himself. If you're gagging right now, you have every right to do so. I laughed my head off when Kabir actually did a song number about his fame/infamy and the Taj Mahal. If only he wasn't dressed so much like a fashion disaster. Perhaps, he was famous for his tacky wardrobe, who knows.

Anyhow, the two characters meet when Reddy's character comes to Agra for a wedding. Kabir falls instantly in love with her but she doesn't notice this. After the wedding, she returns home of Mumbai and when a mishap at work almost gets her fired, her sidekick Maggi(Lever) steps in and lies that Reddy's character(Pooja I think her name was or Priya) got engaged during her trip to Agra and presents a picture that she took with Kabir to their boss. The boss apologises and doesn't fire her anymore.

Now, they are stuck with a fake engagement and no groom. During the course of all that hoopla, her dream guy appears in the form of her boss's son and sweeps her off her feet, she then plans on telling her boss that she has broken off her engagement to Kabir, only to find out that not only has Kabir come to Mumbai, but he is also the hero who rescued her boss from a mugging on the same day.

Every lie she tells after this, only makes her family and boss like Kabir even more and she is stuck with the dilemma of how to let Kabir know that she doesn't love him, tell her boss that there's no engagement, so that she can be free to love his sinister son(played by Sanjay Suri). The songs were cute as were the dances and the backdrop was nice, especially the scenes shot on location at the famous Taj Mahal.

With his last name I am surprised that he would even touch this kind of movie. It is an all around cheaply made, low quality film. It is a typical formula movie where the entire plot is predictable.

SINE SE YEH DIL GAYA.

Abhishek Bachchan's second release, after J.P. Dutta's Refugee, is Vashu Bhagnani's Tera Jadoo Chal Gayaa. Vashu has an enviable track record as a film producer -- Coolie No. 1, Hero No. 1, Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and Biwi No. 1 -- have been smash hits, so his next release raises a lot of expectations obviously. Starring Abhishek Bachchan and new-find Kirti Reddy, Tera Jadoo Chal Gayaa is a love story with music Ismail Darbar, who won awards and accolades for his compositions in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. The film, directed by A. Mutthu, who used to edit David Dhawan's films earlier, is slated for release in July. Here's an insight into this film.

The story: She's rich and famous... she has the world at her feet... Pooja (Kirti Reddy) keeps dreaming and turns up late for work everyday. This bright girl is an assistant director in 'No. 1 Advertising Agency' and is talented enough to make all her dreams come true. Her boss, Mr. Oberoi (Kader Khan), is a tolerant man who usually excuses her late coming.

A friend's wedding takes her to Agra where she meets Kabir (Abhishek Bachchan), a local videographer. Kabir is a generous and wonderful guy and the whole city simply adores him. Totally bewitched by the stunning and sophisticated Pooja, Kabir keeps clicking her pictures. In the midst of the wedding festivities, Pooja too unwittingly encourages him and Kabir is convinced that she's is in love with him.

By the time he musters up his courage to propose to her, Pooja, having prolonged her stay leaves Agra in a hurry. Kabir is heartbroken.

When Pooja resumes work, she discovers she's in big trouble. This time her boss, Mr. Oberoi, has had enough. He's ready to fire her. Just in time, her friend, Maggi (Johny Lever), picks up a photograph where Kabir and she are posing romantically against the Taj Mahal and tells the boss that this time Pooja had a genuine excuse for coming late. She's got engaged in Agra. Pooja is horrified at the lie, but the boss calms down and forgives her immediately. Her job is saved.

And then Pooja meets the man of her dreams, Raj (Sanjay Suri), the boss' handsome son, and falls in love. Finally, everything seems to be going her way but there's one big problem... everybody in her office, including Raj and his father, believe she's engaged to be married soon. Pooja and Maggi hatch another plot. They make up a story that Pooja's fiancée has turned out to be such a rotten scoundrel that she's been forced to break off her engagement. Pooja is delighted that she's finally free.

Little does she know that a determined Kabir has left Agra and is on his way to meet the woman of his dreams -- Pooja.

No magic here

A poor man (with a heart of gold - gimme a break) and an ambitious girl story, but with no twists and no magic. Thats what this is all about. A corny dialogue, saying that 2 things are famous in Agra, one the Taj Mahal, and other...Kabir ( the hero). Aargh, heard anything cornier??

And so we begin, with the heroine coming to Agra, meeting Kabir, turning friends. The guy falls in love with her. What else is new?

Act II : The girl returns to Mumbai, all set to become a director. She has only one dream other than that..to latch on to a guy, who is rich and has a merc for travelling.Jeez! Where was I ? Ah yes! She returns to her job, late by 4 days, and is instantly fired by her boss, played by a pony tailed Kader Khan. But another pony tailed guy ,Maggi lies to the boss that she returned late cause she got engaged and all that rot. She has a photo taken with that Agra guy (Kabir).

So she is forgiven, and all seems well, till the boss's son comes in and catches the gal's eye. Her merc boy has come..Oh goody. From here on the film becomes a nightmare. Lah dee da, from here on, after the gal explains to Kabir that she is in love with Mr. Money, our fall guy takes it on himself to make everyone believe he is a lousy guy etc etc. so that she can go to her prince rich n charming.

Eventually of course, prompted by her mom she does return to our hero. At the end of it all I wonder what it was all about.None of the cast had any presence. The less said about Kirti Reddy the better. Abhishek, looked lost too. The whole cast had sort of bits and pieces kind of roles. The music was kind of Ok, but sounded more like leftovers/rejects from Hum Dil de chuke Sanam.

The title should've been Tera Jaadoo mar gaya.cause there was no magic anywhere in the film.

Very bad remake of another bad english movie...picture perfect...terrible acting by the lead pair of abhishekh bachchan and kirti reddy....voice modulation is one place where all these new actors/actress should improve...paresh rawal/johnny lever and kader khan are the only reason to watch this flick.........paresh rawal a strong contender for the award of best supporting actor....don't watch this shit..

There is a difference between acting out yourself and trying to act like someone. Even though Abhishek is Amitabh's son and might carry genes of his parents talents. But it requires skills for an actor to copy a legend in just his second movie. The movie was funny, sensitive, songs were good, choreography and cinematography were excellent. There were few unwanted scenes and the storyline was not so strong. Kirti did her job fine, she got a long way to become a complete star. Abhishek , Paresh Rawal , and Kader Khan gave their best. I would recommend the first half, especially if you want to see what Amitabh would had look if he acted in 2000. I'll say this movie was average overall.

Hyped up for nothing!

Looked good, felt it would be good, music is good, but believe me, the movie, is no good!

Storyline alright, but actress cant act. The small b is just about average. Paresh Rawal is the only thing that keeps the humor alive.

I would rate this below average. For all the hype that surrounded it, it hasnt live up to even half the expectations!
