Ram Gopal Verma can teach you very effectively how to kill your own masterpiece.

A not so talkative guy name satya from a rural village comes to Mumbai to rule the city and here he start his own journey to kill people and become powerful, after some time his beautiful girlfriend joins him in Mumbai and blah blah blah.

Bad scipt, bad direction, bad and shaky camera work, just by shaking camera you can not show reality man, grow up, minus music, poor expressionless acting.

Over all total useless film, never should have made.

Satya 2 Review Film: Satya 2 Producer: M Samanth Kumar Reddy Director: Ram Gopal Varma Star Cast: Puneet Singh Ratn, Anaika Soti. Music Director: Amar Mohile, Kary Arora Rating: fullfullfullfullfull1.5

RGV in a style of his own pictured the crime movie Satya-2 as a sequel to Satya but has no thematic link with its elder brother Satya. Sole purpose of calling it Satya-2 seems to be making use of the Satya fame but the bhaichara, Kallu Mama and Bhikus of Satya are missing. The movie is about a new born don played by Puneet Singh Ratn supported by Anaika Soti, Aradhana Gupta and Mahesh Thakur. Satya 2 Movie Review

Story:

New Don Satya wants to implement a new plan of bringing the fear of dons in the city theme of which reminds Telugu audience the move Businessman made of Puri Jagannadh who is a follower of RGV. But of course the movie Satya-2 has a RGV’s touch in the plot and making of it. This new don forms a Company to launch its product called ‘Darr’( Fear) among the people so that Don will stay don for some time to come. How far he achieves in his endeavor has to be seen on the screen amid bang bangs of gun fires and devastating stunt scenes.

Analysis:

Satya 2RGV again missed the note to enthrall the audience. The movie is nothing but a disaster excepting for the selection of the camera angles and sound track, high drama, gun fights romance and sentiments special to RGV’s films.

Performance:

Satya 2 review The debutant Puneet made all efforts from his side to impress audience with a sophisticated don look wearing rimless glasses and talking in a calm husky voice. Supporting stars also could do much about supporting him. Anaika the love interest of the hero whom he weds only showed her prettiness but not any performance.

Final Word: Satya 2 Movie Review The movie as a whole will be a waste time and money to watch except for those cine critics whose profession and interest is to analyze the factors that make a movie flat to learn and make a note of what not to do.

Mumbai India
Truly obnoxious

Sadly enough, Satya 2 does not even deserve a mere 2 stars. The film a hotch potch of underworld meets real estate land sharks meets Bollywood aspirants meets Mumbai cops meets Netas - none of it convincing, exciting, interesting or entertaining.

Other bad films have scenes that drag, in Satya 2 most are in extreme slow motion. The hero( debutant Puneet Singh Ratn) barely manages to scrap through, a random chick in the name of RGV's heroine( Anaika Soti) is one RANDOM chick with beak like lips( maybe it reminded RGV of Urmila's pout) .

Music dialogues & background music add to the torture. I always thought RGV can do better, now I have my doubts

A senseless sequel

This one from RGV is a brainless product which lacks substance. The script and plot is so hopeless that it looks going directionless at several places.  Satya 2 is nowhere close to its prequel “Satya” which was an overall good product which gave great recognition to J. D. Chakravarthy and  Manoj Bajpai for their memorable roles.

Satya 2 is more of a psychotic character displayed onscreen as being unrealistically calm, mature and successful, though as audience you will not be convinced at any point of time.  RGV’s obsession with his heroines is well known through close-ups and unnecessary screen-time, added to it the slow motion wasting your time which will irritate you.

He has done it this time for Anaika who plays the role of Chitra – Satya’s girlfriend and looks dumb throughout the movie. While Aradhna Gupta (Special) looked like a photocopy of Celina Jaitley and did her role pretty well displaying good acting skills. She is the girlfriend of Satya's best friend. All other characters did their job well but were overall wasted since the movie fails to deliver and ends up like a no-brainer sci-fi movie.

Puneet Singh Ratn who plays Satya would have been effective had the script and plot supported his role. He is shown as someone from North India who enters Mumbai after committing a murder in his hometown. He joins a Builder where his talent as Advisor is noted by his boss who implements his plans only to see it becoming greatly successful. He refers Satya to couple of his other friends who need similar help and they all become a closely knit group with secrets concealed only within them.

The movie has many flaws. Satya decides to start a “Company” like the “D Company” without any name and without hierarchy where he will plant seeds of revenge in the people to carry out his Agenda and this system will automatically govern the company without anyone knowing who is heading it or who are the members.   This is not only a stupid idea but impossible to carry out which RGV must have realized it midway.

Though Satya claims that his Company will not use guns, the 3 murders that follow, 2 of them are carried out with guns.  While police interrogates Satya’s friend with electric shocks, the same police is shown inquiring with Satya in jail politely which allows Satya to give a 10 minute lecture justifying his actions and the role of his “Company”.

There are many more but frankly it is not worth mentioning. The movie ends with the voice-over saying that he will continue the story some other time which means that RGV is planning for another disastrous sequel. There are a few songs, a couple of them unwanted and only adds to your boredom. Avoid it as this movie is a forgettable one with nothing noteworthy or worth watching.
