Mom is a thriller film directed by Ravi Udyawar.It is a one time watch movie.It is produced by Bonny Kapoor, Sunil Manchand, Mukesh Talreja, Naresh aggarwal and gautam jain. Mom ( sridevi) take revenge of her daughter rape.

Plot-Devki was a Biology teacher and her stepdaughter is Arya. A class student send arya a lewd video and she got angry and threw phone.Now one day Arya was invited to valentine day party at a farm house. Arya rebuffs Mohit and his buddy charles at the party.They felt insulted so they raped her and threw her in drain.

Devki was shocked at this incident and when arya recovers she told the name of all guys.All were caught but soon released by court. Devki looses faith in court so decided to take revenge herself. This is entire story .

Average movie not as good as expected.Cinematography is poor.Acting was all not too good.

First of all I respect the performance of shri devi.

In 90's shri devi was a superb acteress and till date every person love her by heart.

Their perform in mr. India, laadla, etc was superb.

Now I will say about the movie-MOM

This movie is superb in my view.For this role shri devi was perfect.

Nawas sir was super.we know that he was superb actor.

The debut actress' performance was superb.

ALL CAST DOING WELL IN MOVIE.BUT AKSHAY KHANNA HE IS NOT WELL FOR POLICE ROLE

The movie was great. The Love of Women as a Step Mother was expressed beautifully. The movie was full of suspence and make one's anxious to know what will happens next. It also shows the love and care of Mother for his family and give a message that a Mother can do everything for her Family without caring about her own life. Really Good Work.

Mom is based on the story of a step mom whose child does not love her. After watching this movie I get acknowledged that how much our parents love us. Movie has very emotional scenes which makes you little bit cry. Very good movie to watch with our family after a long time.

About acting skills I am very impressed with Nawazuddin, he did a awesome job and his acting is very great. Shri devi also had act good. This is awesome movie to watch.

Hello everyone , I just watched MOM movie in my laptop .the movie is all about gang rape, sridevi was a biology teacher in the movie, and her daughter sajal ali ( arya) was a student of her class.During a lecture on body( about six packs) one of her student send a pornographical video to her daughter.sridevi identified the student and throw the phone of the boy.

On the day of valentine's day sajal ali( arya) went to party place with their friends.Then student of sridevi( the boy whose phone thrown out) took the advantage along with his brother and his brother friends forcefully raped the girl .

Then court give no justice to the effected family .sridevi decided to kill the persons who raped her daughter .

Along with the private detective DK( navazuddin siddiqui) she collected the details and kill them with different tactics.

Finally, it's a good movie to watch.

Arya, a sensitive youth wants freedom in her life.Arya doesn't at all like her stepmom devki's interruption in her private life saying that a daughter comes into a mother's life but a mother can't come into a dauther's life.Devki infact is also her class teacher.After initial arguments on valentine's day devki finally allows arya to go to a party assuming that the ice will break between her and arya.Some unfortunate things happen when arya insults one if his classmates who disturbs her quite a lot.They mock her by saying where is your mom? .After arya and her family doesn't get any justice from the law the mother has to choose not between what is right or wrong but between what is wrong and very wrong in the quest to get justice.Devki's hired private detective DK with his intelligence and observing power gives all the information to devki and the school teacher does the rest with her knowledge to hear the word mom from her daughter.

This the name if I would never see but I love this movie because here this movie name is MOM. really maa doing everything for their children even how she may suffer mentally or physically but she never give up.and in this movie sridevi mam was acting step mother role which was just unbelievable.i think it was sridevi's best ever movie I have seen.for me you did very well but overally their must be some entertainment which was very less.but its not the fault of their actor & actress.u all just well done.

Mom is a simple reveng story without pretending to be unique or a masterpiece though predictable in terms of story and plot, it never loses grip or looks state because of directore control of the script, care taken to ensure frills and melodrama being kept out of the story, focus on body language and expressions instead of too many words and conscious attempt to avoid putting lines that are played to the gallery and last but not the least the x factor' sridevi when she explodes and cries in the hospital watching her brutally assaulted daughter fighting for life, you feel the mom inside you irrespective of your explode in anger with her and finally you get a closure with her when she empties those bullets'mom'is sridevi's best since "sadma" what a way to celebrate 300th movie a winner all the way

I have just watched the movie and it is amazing.The Movie is filled with SUSPENSE and EMOTIONS. The Story is Heart touching and you will definitely broke up into tears while watching the movie.Sridevi played the role of a mother and she nailed it. She was so perfect in her acting that she will definitely win every viewer's Heart with no doubt. Also the acting of Nawazudin was very fine.The Movie Showed the love of a Mother for her daughter and showed that a Mother will always love their Children no matter what the situation is.And the Climax of the Movie was so Good and Perfect that it will give you Goosebumps for sure. Overall the Movie is a Perfect Watch and no one should miss it.

The story starts with a girl admiring her step mom as Madam, because she is her teacher in school. She being ofcourse Srideviji. Then the girl goes to party and is raped by four animals. The men are friends of a person, who tries to propose the girl and she refuses. This ultimately strikes his ego and they rape her. After being accused of the crime the court leaves them because of no proof of the crime against them. Then Sridevi kills them all and at last the girl accepts her as her MOM. The story has been portayed previously also. Bollywood should really think beyond this same story. Nawazuddin has acted really well.

Sridevi-starrer Mom is brutal and for the most part a terrifying yet riveting film. The film deals with the horror and trauma a rape victim experiences and debutant director Ravi Udyawar has done an outstanding job of balancing the drama with equal amount of shock, thrill and honest emotions. The movie doesn't make you cringe like recent thrillers such as Kaabil which also had a similar theme of being a revenge thriller centered around sexual assault.

Devki Sabarwal ( Sridevi) is a high school teacher who is trying to win her over step daughter Arya, who doesn't quite warm up to her as the memories of Arya's biological mother still haunt the 18 year old.

As you might have guessed a gruesome crime is committed and Sridevi finds herself fighting for justice, her character is torn between being a helpless mother whose child is battling for her life and being an outsider trying to reach in as the same child does not acknowledge her as her mother. Imagine the emotional turmoil and Sridevi delivers yet another masterclass, even though she portrays a vulnerable visibly weak individual she looks you straight in the eyes and makes you realize what a truly gifted performer she is.

There's one scene where Sridevi walks in and lays her eyes on her daughter in the hospital bed, that 10 second scene where she just breaks down should be studied and there should be a lecture in acting schools on how to portray someone who is terribly shocked and deeply distressed it is like the physical manifestation of love weeping uncontrollably. Many of our leading stars have performed similar scenes including the greatest of all time - a young Mr Bachchan in the climax scene of Hrishikesh Mukherjee's cult classic Anand and even though these 2 scenes were completely different from one another as the situation was different dare I say I've never seen a better performance as far as a breakdown scene is concerned, not a patch on Sridevi.

The supporting cast including Abhimanyu singh, Sajal Ali and Adnan Siddiqui is solid. Akshaye Khanna proves yet again that he is a very fine actor, we'd like to see much more from him but Nawazuddin Siddiqui - as unbelievable as it is has surprised me yet again, he is so calm yet so loud, so low-key yet so sharp.

While working on the Oscar nominated film Full metal Jacket my favourite director of all time Stanley Kubrick told one of his lead stars 'Real is one thing, but interesting is better' and almost of Nawazuddin Siddiqui's performances remind me of that line. Every one of his characters is so real, so believable but adds his own little touch and makes every character interesting, the mark of a top grade actor.

Special mention for A R Rahman's music, the background score is like an additional principal character in the film, keeps you at the edge of your seat. Much to my disappointment though the climax sequence of the film is a BIG letdown, they did not in give to any cliches till the end but messed it up with the most predictable climax scene possible.

The makers risked some disturbing sequences including some very light dose of gore which you get in abundance in epic Japanese and South Korean films but the director was gritty enough to include such scenes and themes in an Indian film.

Amazing performance by sridevi. awesome acting by nawazuddin siddiqui. Sridevi is playing the lead role. story about mom take revenge for her daughter rape case. story is not new but performance is good. director ravi udyawar is good work. music is OK. one think I don't like in movie is nawazuddin siddiqui death and some time story go slow. the actors playing her supportive husband and daughter have immensely likeable performance.cinematography by anay goswani is good. all over movie story, music, cinematography, direction all are good, one time movie to watch with family.

MOM is a film which in generally expected as a Sridevi's comeback film, which I can't buy.  She is too good a actor to have to make a come back.  And it has to be a film like MOM which she deserves every bit.  Now as far as the movie is concerned, Mom has every element to be a successful film per se to made with the executable and controlled budget.

The biggest plus point I feel about this movie is its content.  No item songs, no big star, of course apart from Sridevi and no slice or flavor of any commercial arena, it's purely a content-cum-woman-oriented film. Above all, it's a film made by a debutante director name "Ravi Udyawar's first film and choosing this story to make a mark is a huge salute to him.

The film raises a lot of questions per se in India particularly in New Delhi about the woman's safety in questions to Nirbhaya's arena and also dwells with the concept of not-so smooth relationship with a young girl played by Sajal Ali relationship with her Stepmom.  It's a nice amalgamation of a mom's relationship with her step-daugter and how she handles it.

To summarize a bit, it's a journey of a woman who is her mom, which to protect her daughter not only has to choose from wrong and worse wrong, which is very impact full.

Performance wise, Sridevi is as usual as its best, great to see her in that role, nawazuddin is cracker and moving leaps ahead film by film. Music is ok, average and suits the rhythm of the film and cinematography is really excellent.

Over all after a very long time, I have seen a very good movie which is full of content and performance, which we hardly see in today's commercial cinema zone.
