Hi. I m great fan of this movie. Fardeen acting is great n Richa is looking cute. Songs r average bt performance wise all actors n actresses done great job. I like the scene where Fardeen combs her aunt( buhaji) hair n made two plaits on her hair. No director dare to show this type of scene in movie bt Ravi Shanker has show this with such ease. Mature woman when wear two plaits looks sexy.

Overall its a time pass film. I give u 2 stars out of five.

Neat and clean family entertainer

Kuchh Tum Kaho Kuchh Hum Kahein is a remake of a Telugu movie - Kalisi Undaam Ra (Come, let's live together). Director K. Ravishankar has done justice to the original Telugu version while directing the Hindi remake. While watching this movie, I got a sense of deja vu since it reminded me of the Rajshri movies prior to the Sooraj Barjatya era. Simple backdrop, rural surroundings, family bonds, emotional story, some laughters, touching moments and of course, melodious music. It contains everything. It is a neat and clean movie without any exposure or vulgarity, the songs are very very melodious, the complete movie has been given a simple set up and a rural backdrop, it emphasizes family values and the fact that blood is thicker than water, it contains certain very touching moments, it introduces a charming new actress with the girl next door looks and finally it is a movie which can be watched by a full-fledged family sitting together since there is nothing in the movie making the watching family members to avoid eye contact with each other. It is an out and out replica of the old Rajshri movies.

The story belongs to two families whose mutual relations got spoiled several years back because of a foiled matrimonial alliance, leading to the head of one family, Vikram Gokhle disowning his son who married against his will. Years later, when the son has died and the widow daughter-in-law lives in the city with her son, Fardeen Khan, they get a call from their head of the family in the village to visit them and attend the Shashthipoorti function (old couple undergoing the matrimonial rituals once again upon completion of 60 years of their original marriage). After reaching his grandparents' house, the young grandson not only goes on winning the heart of the still resented grandfather but also bridging the rift between the two families. He falls in love with the daughter of a family friend of his grandpa's house but when he sees that her marriage with the boy of the erstwhile enemy family will make these two family united forever, he gets ready to sacrifice his love for the sake of the bigger cause. However, the lovers are united in the end with the union of the families too.

This is a light mood movie in which the director has arranged both romantic and laughing moments for the audience. The narrative is good and despite the fact that such type of movie cannot be a fast paced one, the movie does not allow the viewers to yawn. The romantic encounters between the lead pair as well as the emotional encounters between the grandpa-grandson-grandma trio are interesting and appealing. Every character maintains his identity in the movie which is the sign of a good movie. The grandson's teasings with the ladies in the joint family give a tickling feeling in the heart. Overall it is a feelgood movie with an emotional appeal.

The music given by Anu Malik is highly melodious. Just listen to - Huaa Salaam Dil Ka, Jabse Dekha Tumko and the title track and you will affirm my statement. The cinematographer has done his job well in catching the rural background of the movie beautifully. Editing is ok. The art director has also performed perfectly. And there is one thrilling scene also in the movie involving wild elephants.

Why this movie flopped ? It's a question which makes me uncomfortable. May be because of the public taste. May be because of Fardeen Khan who had a poor image in the eyes of the Indian audience at the time of its release (2002). May be some other reason. However my take is - it does not deserve to be a flop because it is entertaining. It is not a movie of the multiplex culture. It is a family drama suiting the single screen audience.

Fardeen Khan is definitely not a great actor but he has not disappointed in this movie. Richa Palod did not get the best debut award for a female lead but she deserved it as look wise and performance wise, she is much better than many of her high profile rivals. Her girl next door looks and charming gestures are lovable in this movie. She could not carve a niche for herself in bollywood, is sad. Vikram Gokhle, Farida Jalaal, Rameshwari, Neena Kulkarni, Govind Namdeo, Ashok Saraf etc. among the several character artists (since the plot contains joint families) have done well alongwith the many child artists. Parallel cinema stalwart, Raghuveer Yadav has arranged laughter moments in style. The only actor who irritates is Sharad Kapoor.

The minus point is that the relationships between the characters and the families are confusing. How the matrimonial alliances are planned to strengthen the friendship bond between the families is not fully understandable. However, if you ignore this point, the movie does not disappoint on any front.

I recommend this neat and clean family drama for wholesome entertainment. The viewers who like the old, simple movies used to be made under the Rajshri banner, some 3 decades back, will like this Hindi remake of a Telugu hit, for sure.

Ab hum kya kahen???

After shaking bollywood with interesting films like Aanari & Aaghaaz (that didn’t do well at the box office) Telugu Film Indistry’s acclaimed producer D Rama Naidu has this time come up with yet another Hindi entertainer. Directed by Ravi Shankar KTKKHK stars Fardeen Khan and newcomer Richa pallod in the lead roles.

After being credited with consecutive flops viz. Prem Agan & Kitne Door Kitne Paas Fardeen continues to work with young wannabes like Richa Pallod. Even though a hit is all that Fardeen needs at this stage, it continues to elude him subtly. Moreover, Fardeen has been facing stiff competition from fellow actors like Aftab Shivdasani and Hrithik Roshan who seem to churn out movies by the hour. Let’s hope KTKKHM does some magic for this young struggler. Well, Richa Pallod is a young and beautiful babe who marks her much awaited debut with this film. While not much can be said about her performance from the film’s pre-release progress, she seems to be quite a show.

Scripted under the oft beaten track of the ideal Indian Family, KTKKHK is another family drama that tries to enrapt the audience in its emotional charms and carve a niche for its makers. The film revolves around a happy and lucky Indian family who eat, drink and sleep together and are strongly bonded by the strings of love.

Unlike stereotyped beginnings, KTKKHK begins with an urban youth going towards the rural. Abhay (Fardeen) is called to his native by his aging grandfather (Vikram Gokhale).

Even though Abhay is extremely unorthodox in his approach, he easily manages to charm the traditional family by his innocent looks and attitude. As expected, Abhay meets Mangala (Richa), a family friend who keeps frequenting his home. No points for guessing that he falls head over heals for this village beauty. Mangala too responds positively and soon they are entangled into a new relationship. But alls not well…Soon they come across a certain problem that forces them to part ways. They will not only have to forget their love aspect, but will also have to change the way they address each other…the whole relationship is up for a toss.

What happens next is what the film is all about…

With soft and sweet music from Anu malik and hum able lyrics by Sameer, Kuch Tum Kaho Kuch Hum Kahein is all geared up to surprise the audience.

Kuch to Kaho

Kuch Tum Kaho Kuch Hum Kahe is from the banner Suresh Productions, directed by Ravi Shankar and Music by Anu Malik. As usual a viewer can expect nothing but family story with flowery sets.

The cast includes Fardeen Khan, Richa Pallod (a new comer), Vikram Gokhale, Fareeda Jalal, Govind Namdeo, Sharad Kapoor, Rameshwari (the Sunayna Girl after a long time), and many others. The movie opens with a debate between two village heads on repairing of a Dam. Government engineer suggests that it would be better if a hole is drilled on to the side of the dam and the water is released failing which there are chances of the dam getting damaged which would result in severe loss to the entire village. One of the village heads Vikram Gokhale agrees to it whereas the second Govind Namdeo and his son Sharad Kapoor are against drilling of a hole in the dam as it may ruin their crops. Both the village heads are against each other. Vikram on the insistence of Panditji decides to perform his 60th birthday and invites all his relatives for the same. Vikram’s wife Fareeda remembers her dead son and longs to meet his family. On coming to know Vikram decides to call for the family of his son also. Abhay (Fardeen) is the grandson of Vikram, Abhay comes to the village with his mother and sister. His grandma is very happy to see him whereas his grandpa is very stern and not willing to talk with Abhay or his mother & sister. Abhay decides to win the heart of his grandfather. He starts mixing up with Mangala (Richa Pallod) who is the grand daughter of Vikram. Abhay befriends Mangala and slowly their friendship blossoms in love. Abhay learns from the house servant (Ashok Saraf) that the feud between his grandfather and Govind is prevailing for more than 25 years and in fact Govind Namdeo’s wife is his grandfather’s sister.

The fued started when Abhay’s father refused to marry Govind’s brothers daughter (Sharad Kapoor’s sister). Abhay’s father is in love with a girl in city but having no courage to tell this to his parents he gets engaged to Govind’s brothers daughter. However on the day of marriage he leaves a note and goes out of the village. On coming to know his would be bride commits suicide. On coming to know about the suicide Govind starts abusing Vikram which leads into clash of the villagers. Rameshwari’s (Govind Namdeo’s daughter) husband is killed in the clash and from that moment both the families are against each other. On coming to know the about this Abhay decides to unite both the family. He organises for a temple visit and sees to it that both the family proceed in the same boat. At the temple he leaves one of his nephew’s in the temple premises and walks away. The kid starts crying and he is seen by Govind Namdeo and his family and they carry back and hands over the kid to Vikram. Abhay uses many such methods to create soft corners in the heart of both the family heads. Once Govind gets stuck amidst wild elephants and Abhay rescues him from the elephants. He also persuades his grandmother to go and invite Govind and his family for Vikram’s 60th birthday. Slowly both the families starts liking each other and forget the hatred prevailing for such a long time (Wah kya baat hai pachees saalon ke dushmani ko hero ne dus din mein khatam kar diya) and they unite back. On uniting back that the relationship between both the families which was spoilt in a marriage could be set right with another marriage and they decide to get Rameshwaris son married to Mangala. Abhay comes to know about the proposal and he keeps quite as his main purpose is to unite both the families (even at the cost of his love) which was torn apart by his father. When Mangala comes to know of it she tries to talk to Abhay but he says that he never loved her and he only played pranks with her. However Mangala comes to know of Abhays love by reading his diary and she also comes to know that Abhay has refused to acknowledge her love for the sake of uniting both the families. On the day of marriage she writes a note and goes away. Abhay informs this to Ashok Saraf and proceeds to the station to bring back Mangala. At the station he is confronted by Sharad kapoor and his men and he is beaten up by Sharad Kapoor. At the marriage venue Vikram gets wild on Abhay thinking that he has eloped with Mangala. Vikram and Govind comes to know about the fact only when Ashok Saraf tells them about the love between Abhay and Mangala and the sacrifice made by Abhay for the sake of both the families. They run to the station by the time they reach Abhay is stabbed by Sharad Kapoor but a hero of Hindi film rarely dies, he is rescued and united with Mangala. That’s Kuch Tum Kaho Kuch Hum Kahein Hey whats wrong with Anu Malik his music is becoming from bad to worse. Humne to Poori Kahani keh di Ab aap apna COMMENT Kahiye
