The movie is a perfect thriller in certain twists and make you watchable till the end without any hesitation . Without a single song the movie has done a great job. I think why the movie did'nt hit the box office.movie is far superior than other films .At all the movie worth of million claps .I assure you won't regret after watching this movie .

The movie is awsome in the whole movie you cannot recognize who the culprit is who the victim is.the clues are in the balance.every time when any clue comes forward this make you to beleive that sidhart is right and in next clue it makes you to beleive that sonakshi is right.back forth movement.but its make you to stick with your seat and thrill accelerate.it seems like the victim is sonakshi and atlast it proved by clues that victim is sidharth.but when sidhart goes out of the range of inspector.it all opens and here comes the twist ie itefaq

At the outset, expect for the basic story premise and one of the producers , there is nothing common between the 1969 film and this one . It's a completely new story and version of the concept by a debutante director from the Chopra family, supported by Karan Johar and SRK. The unfolding of scenarios thorough the investigation of the two murders create intrigue and builds up the whodunit feel to some extent. Humours or the dialogues are a good relief. It's however, dull in second half and doesn't succeed as much in involving you in a gripping manner as it should, although it apprently had potential to be a great thriller. This is partly due to the performance of the lead cast as well as lack of intelligent investigation in the script. Serval aspects are not investigated enough and depositions of the suspects is the key thread. The climax seems a bit implausible too as it doesn't tie up well with the clues shown earlier. Of the cast Akshay Khanna as the investigating officer does a decent job and Siddharth depicts a believable character. Sonakshi, though, doesn't provide any depth. The actor who plays the Gavaskar impresses. Cinematography and background score are good for this genre. Overall, an average whodunit thriller with decent direction by a first time director. Better cast and actors could have lifted it few notches up.

This is underdog from the bollywood.this is remarkable performances of all the stars in the movie.sidharth malhotra excellent.sonakshi sinha very good.and akshay khanna he is remarkable best performance till date.he is very talented and superb acting.about movie story is good nice one suspence till end does great job direction is superb.

An adaptation of Yash Chopra's 1969 suspense drama, starring Rajesh Khanna; Here director Abhay Chopra retains the theme of the original and induces own twists and grips to the story. Unlike linear storytelling, this film simultaneously presents 2 parallel versions of story of the 2 suspects to Investigator. This is a whodunit with two suspects and various possibilities.

Sidharth Malhotra plays Vikram, a bestselling author who’s on the run after being accused of killing his wife. He ends up at the home of Maya ( Sonakshi Sinha) , and the same night her husband is also killed. Dev is brought in to get to the bottom of things and to dig for the truth from their vastly different versions of what went on in that flat that night.

Well, good thing there’s also Akshaye Khanna. His character Dev Verma is the film’s most interesting figure, easily the smartest one in the room, and the film’s writers give him some of the best lines.

Thus, Ittefaq tries its best to create intrigue, and doesn’t give the audience a lot of time to think twice about a single event. That is its biggest achievement. Ittefaq is a decent crime story that will keep you hooked, and guessing.

I am not being able to understand & fully confused, Sonakshi Sinha performed very well & sidharth, also had done a good job but Akshay is the best actor and best roles. I expected consistently pulsating, heart-pounding experience but I am not satisfied with the movie. The movie promoted as thriller, but the twist and turns that thriller movies generally have are not that kind that blow to our minds. The story is good, but the direction is poor & lastly speaking about acting Akshay Khanna, he had done a remarkable role. Songs of the movies are not good enough. Cinematography and graphics are good.

One of the best Sonakshi Sinha movies I've seen so far. Thrilling story, too much confusions in the story, nice work by the cast, and everything was actually fine. The 1st half is a bit slow but interesting but the 2nd half is full of drama and thrill. The movie is a great pass of time. The movie is only 1.50 hours long but it's really freaking amazing. So, if you are looking for a good mystery / thriller movie, I'll recommend you to give it a watch.

Hello there frnds well ill tell you about this movie but first of all I want to say everybody has their own reviews and so do I and hence according to me I found this movie quiet interesting the movie starts with police chasing a man in a car who turns out to be the lead role siddhart malhotra Siddharth's wife suddenly dies because of some unknown reason when he comes to know this he calls police but police suspects him and asks him to come with them in the police station but siddharth was already shocked bcoz of his wife's death and being afraid of taken away by the police he runs away from the scene and the chase begins he is then found in the house of a lady whose husband is dead on the ground in front of siddharth thus police suspecting siddharth for double murder he is thus arrested then he encounters with an inspector namely akshay khanna he tells the entire story by his side and tries to put the blame of the man's murder on his wife police then suspects the wife( sonakshi sinha) and even she starts telling story by her side and then police tries to cross check both the stories and finally the murderer is found and the innocent one is released but this is not the end in the climax morever last 5 mins of the movie entire scenario changes something happens which was totally unexpected to find that out plz watch this movie

Ittefaq is about two mothers watch suicide to version on study and a cop who tries to read whatever it is being offered to him it starts with chase sequence and end with one but between these two a lot of unpredictable things a girl want to leave handed minute of suspense go for it before the souled sport come in Korean everyone experience by the interval you will feel you know what is going on but sit back and see yourself getting proved wrong let's start with what's best

Well the movie is named ittefaq which basically means coincidence. So the story goes like this a man is put in custody for no reason ( only till you see the end) due to the murder of one person.

Review: the movie to a regular person me seem very confusing due to different types of flashbacks or possibilities shown. The movie truely is a thriller kind of movie. Well I would recommend to wait till it comes on tv as I dont really think this is a must watch although its a remake of the older movie which was also named ittefaq. The movie isn't meant for family it is more kind of a movie which is for people who love thrillers although it isnt upto the marks.

It is one of the great crime suspens thriller movie I have ever seen.The suspenses in the movie are great which made the audience not feel bore not at a single point of time.The twist nd tales were awesome. The cinematography, The actings, The dialogues were great.At the end the climax of the movie was superb.U would not able to find who did the crime if u nt watch the movie till the end because of the suspenses nd twists.

Viewers should watch this awsm crime suspense thriller movie nd sure u all will like it.

Ittefaq its a well written and surprisingly well performed act with everything in it from edge to sense or drama to movie start with car accident and rest in suspence whole movie is well made with thriller, every is interconnected with each other, lead actor performance was very good

Ally akshay khanna every one even the chareacter in small role so their job perfectly, visuals cinematography, direction, all are good in short well made movie The director of this movie seems to have worked hard to give his audience the chills and thrills that they want to see in such a movie

I wasn't expecting much from this movie but it really amazing. It was very interesting and the level of anticipation while watching the movie was on another level, can't express in words.

A cop is investigating a double murder that has two witnesses and they are also the prime suspects. The suspect Vikram( Siddharth Malhotra) an acclaimed writer and Maya( Sonakshi Sinha) have different narrative about the event of the fateful night. Both the story seem to be true but there is only one which can be trusted. Dev( Akshay Khanna) is torn between the both story versions of Maya and Vikram, and will not settle to find out what actually happened during that fateful night.

So movie Released . Sidhart Malhotra is one of the most versatile actors. he is like the new generation Ajay Devgan.

He can do all kinds of roles. His movies selection differs so much from others.

Ittefaq(the old one) is one of my favourite movies. and when I heard sid, sona & Akshy Khana are replacing in this movie so I said Yes. That will be okay. Sids looks promising . I fell nimrat Kaur would've been best for this role

This movie is a verry boring movie. I never should have gone for the movie.i went to watch this kovie coz of my friend whom I met after a very long time. But it was a whole spoiled time coz of this boring movie. I can say that Sidhart worked and acyed quite good. Not that good. But Sonakshi. Oh goodness. I wish Sonakshi could leave this industry and do something else. For whenever I see any movie of her. She alwayz has a worst acting. It was a waste of time and waste of money on this movie. The music was not at all good. And the story and climax was khatarnak wala bakwas. I cant even name it. I dnt have words for it. But trust all was all waste.i never undestood the climax too

This movie has lot of suspense in it. the star cast of the movie are Sidharth Malhotra, Sonakshi Sinha and Akshay Khanna .They are the main lead in this movie .this movie has lot of suspense in it that's why the audience are exciting to watch this movie, but that thing done by the actors is not compatible at all .the music of this movie is not so nice because this movie has only one song the performance done by the actors are average .I have not seen this movie yet but this movie has lot of suspense in it .so that's all for me thank you all.
