This is a type of film which contains shity things. Honestly I did not like the film. Although Amit sir and ayushman sir are my favourite charecters in the the film . This is not a funny film or a historic film or a film by wich we can get an value or experience about our life if you people ask me I will rate 1 out of 10 this movie is very boring and you will not feel entertained by seeing this film .it doesnt contain voilated part story together does not make any sense. I would not recommend you to see this film

Gulabo sitabo is a good decent watch film in this film AMITABH BACHHAN AND AYUSHMAN KHURANA are in main lead as we all know that I can say that amitabh bacchan and ayushman khurana comes out of their comfort zone to make their characters looks like reality the story is based on true story in which a paying guest case file on its owener for his fort I must say that you to watch this movie atleast once than you will become fan of amitabh bacchan and ayushman khurana

Yeah this film is very good I watched this film from Amazon prime video in this the work of Ayushmann Khurrana and Amitabh Bachchan is very good Amitabh bacchan with his comedy I like very much this film is for them who wants comedy and also a drama. I liked the work of Amitabh Bachchan as an old man and in the personality of a landlord. This film is very interesting and amazing during the lock down it will make craze and save our life from boringness. It will bring in our life some comedy and happiness.

This is a movie launched in amazon prime this lockdown.interesting fact was that at first glance Big B was unrecognizable for the first instant.Because of that big nose and his acting skills.

Here Big B is acting like a cringy Mirza a muslimold man who lives in a very old mansion FATIMA MEHEL in Lucknow.He has a 15 year older wife Fatima Begum who is the real owner of the mansion.

Mirza Nawab is very selfish and wants his haveli ( mansion) to be sold as soon as possible.

Mirza being greedy did not bother to stay till his wife's demise wants to sell the haweli.

Now Baankey Rastogi( Ayusman Khurrana) is a tenant of Mirza and a Lundo from Delhi who doesnot pays rent to him even he is charged less than other tenant.He is very angry on Rastogi but cannot do anything so he always pinches him to pay the dues as they face each other.

One day Bankey due to anger broke the toilet wall with his one leg.Seeing this Mirza decided to make the life of Rastogi and his family miserable.

This made Rastogi to take revenge from Mirza.

He shakes hands with gyanesh Shukla who is basically a government official who knew the real value of haveli and provokes Rastogi so that he can acquire it.He also promises Gyanesh to give another accomodation.So he also gets involved so that he need not see the face of Mirza.

Knowing the intension Mirza called a local lawyer Christopher to sell the mansion.Mirza took the left hand fingerprint of her wife to claim the house but unfortunately it was of wrong hands.He took a resolution to correct it.

Meanwhile christopher said that the mansion was irrepearable and need to be destructed so that

A mordern housing complex can be made.He asked to sell the haveli to Munmun and and in return will get a good amount of money.

Meanwhile Gyanesh made false claims and asked the residents to empty the mansion.

Now the lawyer came witha suitcase full of money for mirza and tenant.

Seeing this greedy mirza sits on bag and claims that all money belongs to him

Now after a while the people gets to heat that Begum is no more.

Mirza become happy on the situation.

After that they realosed that there is a mistake and begum is alive and sold her mansion to her old lover at Rs1.Everyone have to empty the mansion on thid decision.On begums birthday they had to leave.

Begum left the old chair to Mirza which he sold for 250 rupees.

Irony was tht it was sold again afterwords in an antique shop in Mumbai for 135000 rupees.

No one of the story plot got anything.

Now this movie was good but was little boring also.

Acting and body language of Big B and Ayushman Khurrana was good.Farooq jaffar role was the main attaraction.She changed the whole plot of the film.Shristi Srivastava played well as sister

Brijesh Kala and Vijaya Raj have added humour to the film.Song in the film are less bnd situaltional.There is a folk song also.

The acting was good but the direction of the movie could be improved

This movie has a very light story which gives you a very crispy plot ?? at the end but all I can say this is a one time watchable movie and some scenes are very funny and emotional at the same time and the legend amitabh bachhan just made it awesome.

This movie is a nicely crafted satire that brings in tons of emotions. Shoojit Sircar knows how to explode a normal story into vibrant colours

The duo Amitab Bachan and Ayushmann Khurrana has been strongly characterized and were superb onscreen. The editing and cinematography was wonderful and did not loose the mainstreams. All togther its a entertainer in the whole means.

From the beginning the motive of whole movie is clear its the Haveli Ayushman and Amitabh Bachchan is after while it belongs to Amitabh Bachchan's Wife. The whole Movie got shot in a old haveli so you won't be able to see much background except acting there is nothing much to appreciate. Comedy is conveyed through fights between Ayushman and Amitabh Bachchan. The Direction we could say was good if we keep the fact aside that the whole movie was shot in a single haveli. Cinematography was pretty good. The plot if you look at is not something to get every excited about , a 98 year women running for a lover and selling the haveli to him for 1 rupee. Ending on the other hand is also not every good to brag about.

In a nutshell it was a pretty Average move.

If you are a fan of Ayushman Khurana or Amitabh Bachchan then this movie is surely a One-timer for you, If not you could pass you will not be missing something to regret later.

Gulabo Sitabo is as delectable as a Lucknowi Shami Kabab!

From the lovely team of Shoojit Sircar and Juhi Chaturvedi comes another perfect work of art that is as new and lively as morning dew on grass. It's a pleasure to watch Amitabh Bachchan pull off something like this, and the job was customized for him same as the kurtas he wears in the film. The Awadhi characteristics, the language, the gazes everything is right on the money! His glasses, his sluggard, the manner in which he strolls and obviously, his nose????. It's a basically nuanced execution from the veteran on-screen character and scene after scene you are left for asking more. The film reaffirms the name.

Ayushmann Khurrana's slight stutter adds to the flavor and he shows us once more why picking the secret sauce is so much significant.

Movie is good with quite subtle acting by amitabhsir , ayushman & whole team.

Loved the location to feel authenticity of luckhnow.

No overdoing of anything.it as it should have like in real life.

Loved to see different layers of human nature through every character.

Movie pace was slightly slow for an OTT platform film release.

Background score was neat.

Gulabo-Sitabo is a story that beautifully represents the consequences of one of the deadly sins - GREED. It tells how greed of worldly possessions can leave us all alone in the end. The story is set in Lucknow and revolves around about a century old Haveli- Fatima Mahal; its owner Fatima Begum ( Farrukh Jaffar) - a witty old woman with an infectious smile; her husband and care-taker of the haveli Mirza ( Amitabh Bachchan) - who married the lady because of his "be-intehaa mohabbat" for the Haveli; and the tenents living in the haveli. One of the tenents is Bankey Rustogi ( Ayushmann Khurrana) , a man constrained financially and burdened with the responsibility of taking care of his family- a mother and three sisters. Bankey, despite being continuously reminded by others of his financial situation and lack of education, is not ashamed of himself. Mirza is desperately waiting for his old wife to die so that he can be the owner of the Haveli and kick all the tenents out. The story, though a bit slow in the beginning, kickstarts when an officer of Archeological department, Gyanesh Shukla ( Vijay Raaz) begins to take interest in Fatima Mahal and allures Bankey and all other tenents to help him in exchange of a better living space. On the other hand, Mirza takes help of a lawyer Christopher Clark( Brijendra Kala) in order to get legal possession of the Haveli. This social satire brings out various aspects of the society beautifully in different situations in a manner that it brings a smile on your face. As the lawyer and the officer take advantage of Mirza and Bankey respectively to get hold of the haveli for their personal gains, the story brings out how people try to manipulate and exploit others who belong to relatively lower social stature for personal benefits. With the help of dynamics of relationship between Bankey and his sister Guddo ( Srishti Shrivastava) , the story also depicts the insecurity of a male bread - earner when a woman of the house gets out and starts managing stuff in a better manner than him. Most importantly, the story teaches you that you are never too old to fulfill your desires. This beautiful story is enhanced by the commendable performance of all the actors.

Gulabo Sitabo is watchable only because of the performances of Amitabh Bachchan, Ayushmann Khurrana, and to some extent Vijay Raaz and Brijesh Kala. Big B simply carries the film on his shoulders with his great performance. He is getting better and better with each film and it’s simply unbelievable. Ayushmann also does extremely well and shines despite Big B’s brilliant screen presence.Unfortunately, Juhi Chaturvedi as a writer and Shoojit Sircar as a director missed the mark this time. Despite nothing being really bad about the film, it doesn’t just hit the right mark. One point which also works against the film is that its characters don’t really make anyone happy. Even if you feel like laughing at the situation of Mirza and his tenants initially, it starts bothering you later on. You feel more sad than happy while watching the film and I am 100 % sure that was not the intention of the makers here.
