Valentine's Day
Date: February-14-2004
There are various versions to the history of Valentine's Day. According to many, the origin lies in St. Valentine's martyrdom for his faith. This Roman saint was martyred for his refusal to give up Christianity on February 14, 269 AD, a day then devoted to love lotteries. Another legend has it that he had left a note for his jailor's daughter with the signature "FROM YOUR VALENTINE."
Over the years Valentine's Day has been celebrated as a day of lovers.
MouthShut's Valentine's Day Logo is a salute to this tradition of love.
