Reading, writing and security performanc are very good, and its price rang also sficiant, its body is very beautiful I love it.and its gives security feature like password, pin to protect your data, so my review about this is a good look, good performance, good price easy to use, easy to mange partisions.

its a good product. I have been using this for more than a year and I dont find any problem or fault from it.

its design is good. its compact and handy.the weight of the product is less. the material of manufacture is fiber so beware of dropping it down.

I am using from 6 month and I am permanent connect my wd ultra to pc no problem with this data transfer speed very good because it supports 3.0 usb ports it have compact size u can put in pocket easy way You can use it as long you want no heating issues and m upload 1 pic of it wd ultra looks shorter from mobile. This harddisc has a lots of memory.1TB.It looks wonderful and compact. Price range is also in aam admi pocket budget. It is best for who are doing rough use .It is good for students.in this price range it is hard to get this type of product but one disadvantage is there .The extension wire should be little more in my point of view .

When it comes to storage devices whether it is external/portable hdd or internal hard disk driver you can totally rely on western digital. I have my internal hdd in my pc of same brand using them for 2yrs now no problem so far and then I have this wd passport ultra 1tb hdd. You cant go wrong with this one very good read/write speed with led indication.faced no problem so far using it since 6months.

It is a good product. Its performance is soo good.It has no more feature. Only you do save in this drive.Its collour I also like. It is black and some white finish.Its style is too impressive. The new wd passport available in four storege like 1, 2, 3, 4tb of capacity. Its have sharp edges with square shape. I have white coloured hard disk. This hard disk is little bit bulkier side. Design and the build quality of the hard disk is quite attractive.its have usb 3.0 port and a led indicater.

Its comes with wd drive utilities, wd backup, wd security. backing up and securing our data is hassle free with this software. I did not faced any issues regarding that.

This review talks about 3 harddisks: WD My Passport, WD Elements, Seagate Expansion.

For Elements people complained about heating and vibration. I copied 252GB from Expansion to Elements in one go and I found the heating and vibration to be completely under normal limits. Do not forget this is not a SSD that it will not vibrate. However in Elements the vibration is more felt(than Passport or Expansion) because of its sleek shape. The internal metal hard drive casing is in direct contact with the external plastic body and there is very minimal damping between the two. This will create no problem at all.

While I was copying, my source drive(Passport) was connected to a USB 2 port and the destination drive(Elements) was connected to USB 3 port. I found the transfer speed was a continuous 30MB/sec. [I was copying 252GB in 952 items]

My other experience:

Build quality of Expansion is worst among these 3. Even the internal hard drive is cased within a plastic body which makes this the lightweight among these 3.In build the best is Passport.

I suggest go for WD My Passport.

Western Digital ( WD) is a leading provider of storage solutions, hard drives and Network Attached Storage devices for backup, sharing and storing the worlds, When its to choose a hard disk brand I always select wd because its long lasting and great quilty.i have been using wd from last 3years and it still works fine.wd comes wid 3years or 2years warrenty so no need worry about.so buy this wd my passport ultra or my passport?

I purchased two product from store this work fine and performance is better than other storage products. Its not give many more feature but for storage is good. And its style look like other storage products. Its value for money I puchased in Rs. 3, 500 per piece from store. I think its customer service need to improve, its gieves only email support not call and chat support and it gives 5 year warrenty. And I didn't know about the staff helpfulness because I couldn't tlk with them.

Guys need to puchase this product for storage.

The good The new and compact My Passport Ultra portable drive offers up to 3TB of storage space, delivers fast performance and comes in many color options. The drive works right out of the box, features hardware encryption and includes helpful backup software.

The bad The WD Backup software can't backup the entire system as an image and won't backup based on changes in real time. The new drive's performance, though quite fast, was a bit slower than the previous version.

The bottom line The WD checks the boxes on everything you'd want in a portable storage drive, and with a stylish multiple color option, it's a easy recommendation

I have WH hard disks and really love this bcs easly travel with WH and easly got my data and work become easly with WH.sometime I have more data with is usefull but can't borrow all that thinks but with WH hard disk ealy my work and more and more data save and any time data borrow or give someone easly so that is awesome .

Hey friends I have WD My Passport Ultra 1 TB hard disk. I buy from a shop. I buy this hard disk for 4, 500 Rupees only. It cost me 1 time but I get 1 year guarantee. It is very stylish. It performance is very nice. Transfer speed is 60 Mbps- 120 Mbps. It has 3.0 USB port. When I purchase that time I think, I spend more money on single external hard disk. When I use this hard disk I too much happy. Performance of hard disk is very nice. Features are very awesome. Hard disk can easily carry in pocket. Service is very nice. It is very valuable for me!

I am using this hardisk since last 2 years, and it is working Totally fine, It doesnt crash, a security software is provided with the harddisk, so that it can be password protected, The only fault with it is that there is no cloud storage, And I Had to change the usb cable, because it had some fault, but I think it may be a problem with my harddisk only, U shoud Buy it
