GUYZ I have been using this harddrive from the past 2 years. This hard dive honestly has never given me any trouble except the cable with wich it comes with , after few months the cable started giving me trouble it would not connect , so I replaced it with a normal usb cable.

Pros- It is light weight , slim and portable

looks also good can fit in any pocket.

-Sturdy device , I have dropped it a couple of times but no issues with it.

Cons- It gets heated faster.

-Data transfer rate is low: 23-25 mbps

-cable it comes with will eventually stop working.

I ordered 5months ago, my external hard disk.WD PASSPORT ULTRA 1TB.from Snapdeal, one of the leading e-commerce website.

The service by snapdeal was good as they delivered it well in time.

For 5months the hardisk was working so efficiently and I even loved this product. All my personal collections of dragonballZ, Suits and much more were there in the Harddisk.

But now , everytime I attach it to my lenovo laptop it hangs up. Windows explorer gets NOT RESPONDING.

I have checked this on N no. Of machines with different Connecting.Cables. But still this problems persists.

I called for customer support , but still they are not able to resolve this issue.

You know sometimes our hard disk has been damaged it's reason because you are not running Western digital hard disk some hard disk like toshiba, hp hard disk , lenovo hard disk these hard disk did not work properly so I think please buy Western digital hard disk because their performance is good and long time running

It is highly recommended product for storage your personal data. I have been using this product last 2.5 years never ever got any complain still running as smooth as new one

Tranfer rate is 80 mbps where as download rate is 60 mbps on usd 3.0 where as in usb 2.0 tranfer rate 40-45 mbps and download 23-25 mbps. Please check the port you are pluggin.

Cons

You cannot go for game setup install and running through ext hdd although having good transfer speed.

Please buy this product during offer period it price go as low as 3500/- inr prefer amazon or flipkart only please dont use snapdeal.

Perfomence is poor in this model I listen so many positive feed back bt in reallty there is huge diffrence in really style and deaign good perfomance is very week at high useage application beacause of heating

WD=Western digital is a well  know company all around the world and have many things to sell in market to its consumers. Harddisk are most profitable item for wd. There are wide range of hdd such as passport/ultra and some internal hdd.

As per performance Of a external hdd is good enough.but it heat up quickly and in room temperature speed is about . I get around 40 MB/sec to 80MB/s as per my pc hardware
