Hello folks. I have bought this Seagate Backup Plus hard disk drive for my sister as the looks are pretty astonishing I must say. I got attracted to this product just amidst of its looks.

Now come to the features now.

I have used this product before gifting it to my sister.

Portable : It is durable. It is very handy and one can easily carry this hard disk drive along with other ascessorries.

Speed : The transfer speed was a bit faster as compared to other hard drives I have used before till date. The speed does not go below 25MBps which is really promising.

Compatibilty : Well it does support both windows ( any latest version) and Mac OS. You can use it in your smartphone too using an OTG cable.

Price : If you are really concerned about price I must say it is a bit of higher cost as compared to other brands but looking through the features, it is not an issue for those who can afford it.

Conclusion : If you have a proper budget then this Seagate Plus HDD is really worth buying. So do give this a try.

Bought this product from Amazon and I can say that it is an absolute value for money. This hard drive is really impressive is a value for money no doubt. This hard drive has a very good speed of 100 maps in USB 3.0 which is impress and also 2.0 compatible.

The hard drive have a good amount of space as promised and the very impressive feature is the backup plus capability. The 100gb online storage. Not only you can sync the data but also can upload the data in cloud a really impressive thing at this price point.

The very next thing is the size. Its just si much compact than the traditional heavy ones. It fits in your pocket its that much portable and easy to carry.i personally didn't had any problems so far using it which is really good sign.

I am impressed with overall product as you simply get what you pay for.

Bought this external Hard Disk from flipkart nearly 4 years ago. I have blue one which I got for 5500/-.

Coming to the product it is a 5400 rpm 2.5 inch hard drive encased in a full plastic body and it has a detachable connector that also has a white led light. Performance is very great and consistant and it also supports usb 3.0. The only problem I have is with the length of the usb cable supplied. It is very short but is of high quality.The plastic body is highly durable, even after 4 years it looks like new.

One tip though, never drop your hard drive because it is mechanical hard drive and it will lose performance every time you drop it.

It comes with a 3 year warranty though.Now it is available in an even slimmer package, I will review that later as I happen to have that External hard Disk too,

Seagate backup plus is fast and portable device.The device include helpful backup software and a free two-year200GB subscription to one drive online storage. The bad thing is of two year warranty which is really short enough. But out of all it is good device available in market for storing device.

This device is very easy to use. Unlike other devices are not so easy to handle it removes and solves the problem of difficulty.

Seagate brand in concern of External Hard Disk always consider as Holy Bible. The only brand in the world which will may last you forever because of the least probability of bad sector occurance. I am having remarkable experience with it from last 4-5 years, still operating very smooth.

I am a PC addict and I consistently downloads movies and sometimes games also and that's why I purchased this external hard disk. The experience is nice so far. It's small size makes it easy to handle and it's also beautiful in look. It has USB 3.0 port which makes copying files fast. It gives up to 80 MBPS on USB 3.0 and approx 20 MBPS in USB 2.0.

It also supports partitioning which makes it more better. I ordered it online through flipkart and it costed me approx 4900 INR which is a fair price. So overall it's a good choice in external hard disks.

I Love Seagate Products. I Have use many products by Seagate Thats why ive decided to Buy Seagate External Hard Drive.

The price of this Product is not very costly and its very easy to use also.

When I receive this product I feel so happy Because of its looks and its perfomance speed. Except for the cable which is too Short. I wish Seagate Provide a Longer one.

As compared to Sony 1 TB HDD, Its the same only except in Sony it has a Good and better Case.

After 7 Months of using this Seagate HDD, It fall by accident and from that day I cannot access anything. I lost everything in that HDD. I feel so sad. Next time I wont buy HDD from Seagate because it doesnt have a good Case. If u make one mistake by letting it fall down then you're HDD is as good as Gone.

Better to buy HDD with Good Case.

Guys I have one hard drive its 1 tb its fast its light weight .slim slick design run fast .i love it no problem since I brought it just go for it and its none other than its segate and just brought a case for it so it will give some protection to it .hope it help u .

Guys I am a extreme pc user and I have lots of data to store like games movies etc so I brought this external hdd to save my data and I choose this sony hdd because its looks like hard metal and feel safe to store my data in it after buying this I just copied my data to this hdd and the hdd falls from my hand but it drops on my sofa and after that I connect this to my pc and didnot working I am feeling very lucky and happy now because I didnot delete my data from pc so dont go with the body its a hdd and you need to do care for your data soo be careful and use hdd for atleast 1 week than delete your data you copied in hdd I dont know its a manufacture defect or any other but I am not going with the sony again it is costly and not safe so why I buy this

Seagate backup plus portable 1tb external hard disk is a good memory storge device to carry on. I bought it recently and it has been working quite smoothly. Though I feel there is a serious issue with seagate. Although they provide impeccable post sale services but the hard disks are very fragile. I used to keep the device in soft padding of my laptop bag still due to some jerks here and there it got damaged somehow and stopped working. This physical aspect of being damage prone is too much of a problem rest everything is okay with the portable device.

Seagate Backup Plus portable 2.5" 1 Tb external drive is best hard disk among all different HDD providers. I am using it from last 2 years and I just want to say that I am impressed. No problem occurs in past time. There is lots of positive side in comparison to negative side.

Pros:-

First of all it is comes with USB 3.0 connectivity that means data transfer rate is much higher as comparison to USB 2.0.

Second it is very durable and survive after drop from 4-5 ft.

Third it is comes with SATA USM port also which is provided by this HD only. You can easily connect with PC and laptop. USM(Universal Storage Module) is much faster then USB 3.0.

Fourth Design wise is also good comes in different colors.

Cons:-

There is only one minor con is that it is comes in plastic body, which I don't think a major one.
