Chapter Five
Dhananjay was always a busy man. With expansion of his business, the overseas clients and frequent trips, he was seldom at home. Handling the manufacturing unit and office single handedly was a big thing. She could not expect much from him. He had given her manpower she needed, but she had a huge family, social circle and relatives to manage apart from two young kids. Apart from these, his dinners to oblige someone or other were also included in her schedule.
Meghna stood in her balcony with Raghav in lap and watched her playing with her friends. And yes Jackie was around as well. Meghna felt secured for Snigdha, with Jackie. No body would misbehave with her, even think of bullying her. Jackie won’t spare them. She was finding it difficult to devote her time Snigdha was getting once upon a time but she herself was tired and sleepless, which made her irritated and short tempered; Snigdha, she is always busy with Jackie, Meghna consoled herself, may be she is not missing much. She looked at Raghav, who was uneasy and she went inside.
Every now and then Snigdha and Jackie would be missing from the home. Now if anyone wants to locate them, first spot would be the mud bed. They both would lie in there. Initially Meghna told her not to sit there, her dress would get spoiled, and her hair will get the mud. But she was not bothered. They both will be there late evenings, lying there till the dinner was served. Meghna would at times hear her giggles, and would smile. At times she would get tempted to see and hear what’s so funny, but her work would not let her climb a few stairs.
