Consistently rated for 12 months as the best MP3 CD Player, the iRiver 350 (now iRiver 400) was my brother's choice when I asked him to send me a MP3 player from US instead of me buying some chinese assembled crap from the local market.
Costing $175, the player easily outsmarts all others. Aluminium finish, MP3, WAV, WMA, ASF, Audio-CD formats are supported. ID3 v1, 1.1, 2.1, CD-Text is supported for extracting track info. Built in FM radio player. Cool-blue LCD display corded remote, sleek budphones, internal rechargeable batteries, external battery support, line-out and on and on and on...
Software upgradeable. The update from 1.x to 2.x software gave my player's software a new interface, some new features and a game! (never mind that I havent figured out how to play the game yet)
Battery lasts for 3-4 hours. With external alkaline batteries, add another 4 hours.
