I bought an entry level microwave oven from Panasonic for basic re-heating. Within 4 months the door hook broke. When I registered a service complaint, I was told that this part was not covered in warranty. I read the warranty terms which said that all parts are covered. On following up again, they changed the reason for not covering it under warranty by saying physical damage is not covered under warranty. When I again brought this to their attention that the door hook is an internal component that broke during normal usage and there is no sign of damage or misuse, they stopped responding to my emails and closed my complaint.
Please avoid panasonic products. Their after sales service is below par compared to LG and Samsung.
